Gee Jerry Falwell, How do you really Feel? “Hillary Clinton would Energize Conservative Base”

The Reverend Jerry Falwell always having something to say. How do you really fell Jerry? Of course one might not like how he said it, but he is probably right.

The Rev. Jerry Falwell says a White House run by Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton would energize his base of religious conservatives even more than if the devil were the Democratic nominee.

“I certainly hope that Hillary is the candidate,” Falwell told a private prayer breakfast. “Because nothing will energize my (constituency) like  Hillary Clinton.” (Yahoo News)

Vintage Kids Products From When We Were a Kid

I found this over at Boing Boing this morning, and what a perfect collection of pictures for a rainy Sunday morning. All of the packaging of kids products from when I was a kid.

Paula sez, “Dan Goodsell (aka Grickily), co-author of the book Krazy Kids’ Food (Taschen 2003), has the most excellent Flickr set of vintage products for kids. The set includes tons of candy and food you loved as a kid, but have forgotten about until now. The products are from circa 50s-80s, and include cereal boxes, candy wrappers, ice cream boxes, cartoon cells from 1960s cereal ads, etc.”

Go look at the Flicker file of all of the images Dan has collected, and then get his book Krazy Kids’ Food. I have it ordered now.
