Someone to actually connect the dots of Carlos n’ Charlie’s, the ride back to the Van der Sloots house, then to the lighthouse and then the pond. Back to the beach, then the light house and finally the water.

 We mentioned a while back that you should not get too comfortable, you are still a suspect.

CNN & Kyra Phillips Potty break mic snafu … during President Bush’s Katrina Speech, OMG … way to go CNN …

The label should read … CNN … do not try this at home, other networks are trained professionals. Kyra Phillip’s mic was left on as CNN broadcast President Bush’s speech commemorating the Katrina anniversary this afternoon.

Too funny for words. Has to be seen and heard to be believed. Glad CNN has someone manning the audio in the control room these days. CNN might want to be careful how they throw the word “incompetent” around as well.

UPDATE: And then comes the CNN apology … CNN sorry for Bush speech gaffe.

CNN’s apology, I can’t wait to hear the conversation at Kyra’s Labor Day picnic between her and her sister-in-law. Maybe CNN will have Kyra wearing a wire for that as well.

“I’ve got to be protective of him,” she said without being aware that the mic was on. “He’s married, three kids, and his wife is just a control freak.” CNN anchor Daryn Kagan broke into the telecast immediately afterward updating viewers on what Bush had been saying.

Larry Garrison To be Interviewed Tonight on Larry King Live … his book The Newsbreaker, JonBenet Ramsey and John Karr

This afternoon the Boulder, CO District Attorney Mary Lacy faced the music regarding the debacle that has become the “confession” and extradition of John Karr from Thailand to Boulder, CO. John Mark Karr who confessed and appears to actually believe that he killed JonBenet Ramsey nearly 10 years ago was cleared yesterday.

“John Karr sincerely believes he killed JonBenet Ramsey, there’s no question in his mind about that,” Lacy said.

She said Karr still believes, even now, that he killed the young girl even though evidence points to someone else. (CNN)

No charges will not be brought against him as his DNA did not match that of which was found at the crime scene.

Boulder DA Mary Lacy is facing the media with some tough questions as to how and why they would have thought John Karr was involved in the murder of JonBenet. It appears that prosecutors had nothing to go on except Karr’s bizarre comments, statements and confession.

Aruban Officials are Just now Figuring Out they are in trouble … PPA Leader Benny Nisbet speaks out

More Aruban politicians are coming forward and stating their displeasure in how MEP has things  handled things  with regards to tourism. Better be careful Benny, MEP may call out their “militants” as previously warned.   Even though most of the reasons put forth by PPA leader Benny Nisbet are inconsequential, we will give him credit for actually stating that “the disappearance of Natalee Holloway has serious consequences for Aruba.” When was the last time someone in an Aruban authority stated the obvious.

However, to be honest regarding the matter, it was not the disappearance of Natalee Holloway that was detrimental to Aruba. It was how Aruba investigated or should we say the lack of an investigation that was nothing more than a process of  going through the motions. People do not just disappear on a vacation island the size of Aruba. She was not on a cruise ship where she could have fallen overboard into the ocean. She was last seen in a car leaving Carlos N’ Charlie’s  with Joran van der Sloot, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe.

That being said, Aruba needs to understand that they need to stop making excuses for their tourism problems.  Aruba’s decline in tourism has nothing to do with  the euro, its not the Middle East, nor is it terrorism plots on airplanes from England. If all those were valid reasons then the rest of the Caribbean would be experiencing declining tourism. THEY ARE NOT. The rest of the Caribbean is experiencing gains in tourism.

Aruba’s decline in tourism can be traced to one single event, Natalee Holloway. The manner in how Aruba and its Courts allowed favoritism and cronyism to outweigh justice for an American tourist gone missing. An investigation from the outset that was  intended to fail. First it was though that it would go away, then it was pinned on two black security guards. Never were the real suspects ever gone after or interrogated in any serious manner. If this is how Aruba would treat its tourists if something happened to them, is it really any wonder why people stay away?

DNA not a match … John Mark Karr will not be charged in JonBenet’s Murder … It was a hoax

The Boulder, CO prosecutors have dropped the charges against John Mark Karr in the murder case of 6 year old JonBenet Ramsey. According to reports, Karr’s DNA does not match the DNA found at the crime scene.

BOULDER, Colo. (Reuters) -Colorado prosecutors won’t charge schoolteacher John Mark Karr with the murder of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey after tests showed his DNA does not match DNA found in her underwear, two local TV stations reported on Monday.

This makes the case even more of a joke than the media circus that the confession of John Mark Karr had become. What could the Boulder DA have had an evidence to arrest John Karr in Thailand and fly him back to the United States? Karr’s family has claimed from the outset that he was with them when he claimed to have been in Colorado. Now with no DNA match, there is no case.

Plane Crash Satire; What on Earth was NBC, The Emmy’s and Conan O’Brien thinking?

If one ever wanted to see just how out of touch Hollywood is from reality, one needed to look no farther than last nights Emmys. NBC managed to do the unthinkable. On the same day that Comair Flight 5191 crashed and tragically killed all but 1 of 50 people aboard; NBC and Conan O’Brien decided that it was ok to do a parody of a plane crash during last nights Emmys. (See video) Could they have been any more clue-less, unsympathetic or disrespectful?

House Keeping in Aruba … Enter the Dutch … Is this Show or the Real Deal?

Aruban authorities have finally asked for help from the Dutch. Unfortunately this request comes some 14 months too late. The real question is if this new investigation is to be believable by the new Dutch team coming to Aruba, they will have to be able to re-question the suspects and witnesses. Also they will actually have do a proper interrogations with follow-up questions, not the farce that took place last summer.
