Natalee Holloway Investigation: What ever Happened to the Belt that Art Wood Found by the Lighthouse?
What ever happened to the belt that Art Wood found by the California Light House?
The belt that looks so strikingly familiar to another belt that we have seen Joran Van der Sloot using in photos.
Video can be seen here discussing searches and the finding of the belt.
From last summer: More Searches In Aruba; Light House and the Landfill
From MSNBC … Local Searchers are still searching the landfill and new search and rescue dog teams are searching near the lighthouse. Reports also that a brown belt was found similar to the one seen in Joran photo’s.
What ever became of the belt? Is it still considered evidence? Does the ALE still have it or is it lost? One would like to think that the size of the belt would have been compared to one that Joran Van der Sloot would wear.
At the very least, one would thing that DNA forensics were done on the belt to see if Joran Van der Sloot or the other suspects ever touched this belt. Please tell us that forensics were done on this piece of evidence. What has become of any of the forensic tests that were sent to The Netherlands? They have all seemed to have slipped into a black hole.

What ever became of the belt? Is it still considered evidence? This is a very weird story. I’m going to look into this a little.
Hans Mos, Aruba’s chief public prosecutor, said only that the evidence is “so important that we think we should have arrested these three guys, which we did yesterday.”
