Now THIS is tragic! That beautiful child is now a “body to be released to her family”. Lord! It makes me truly sad. Taylor was an only child. She was just beginning her life: The graduation day that will never happen. The wedding day that will never be. The children that will never be born. The grandchildren her parents will never know. All of this taken away. Dearest Taylor, Rest in Peace.

I can’t imagine how her mother must feel. She must be broken-hearted over this. I hope Ben pays for his childish/creepy/outrageous actions. His day will come!!!!!!!

This really affects me, as I have a daughter who will be 18 in a few weeks. And she is considering colleges in that area. My prayers go out to the family.

I have noticed a difference between this case and the Natalee Holloway case, in that there doesn’t seem to be a group of people out there who believe Taylor somehow “brought this upon herself.” I have been very upset by comments to that effect concerning NH.

These were both young girls, young women, who were starting out in life, and became the victims of unsavory characters who preyed upon them. It doesn’t matter that they may have been “experimenting” or searching beyond what they had known in their upbringing, and found criminals instead of decent people. It could happen to anybody’s daughter. No matter what they were doing, they didn’t deserve this.

I think about that whenever I read postings saying “they are not innocent angels” or words to that effect. That has happened several times with NH, but maybe I just haven’t noticed it with TB. I did note that there was some commentary about her “relationship” with this Ben Frawley cahracter. Apparently Taylor was up to more than her mothjer knew. Again, so what? Did she have to die? Taylor was obviously lured into some kind of situation and killed; she didn’t deserve that.

The only “good” that can come out of this can be a greater awareness by others, including my daughter and every other daughter, that these freaks are out there, and for everyone to be vigilant and cautious wherever you go. Preparation is the key; self-defense training, staying with a group, avoiding people who fit a profile (older guy hanging around campus, likes photography, wants to take pictures of you, seems nice, etc). But how far can you go?

The additional injustice in this case is that Frawley – or whomever – will just get to sit in prison. They should be made to suffer much more than that.

How tragic it all is. I know her mother must be in agony, especially today. My birthday is today, October 13th also, and since I’ve followed this case from day one, this day is sad for me. I’ve prayed for her whole family. Ben — may God have mercy on your soul, for you deserve everything you get. Your day will definately come for hurting this innocent, beautiful girl. I agree with Micah… 100%. Rest in peace Taylor, for he can’t hurt you again.
