In the early days of the investigation, some videos were posted on June 11th to an Aruban websites, aru-bay.com, that showed people searching an area near the lighthouse. It was presumed that they were searching for Natalee Holloway. Shortly after they were posted online at this site, they were removed. The reason for the removal was that the videos were posted to help prove the security guards initially arrested were innocent, and then removed when the guards were released.
The videos are from a handheld camera and and show the police searching near some large rocks, and during the search they put up a tarp and then mark the rocks. The timing of the videos was the day after the Aruban and Dutch authorities mistakenly announced Natalee was dead, and were going to retrieve the body. That is why the folks followed them and recorded it.
Although these videos are inconclusive, they are interesting and present some unanswered questions. They recently were uploaded to Google video and are available for viewing again.

As is stated,nothing conclusive but it would be fairly easy to check out.Whatever they were doing they were there for a long time since they had a water cooler with them.It does not appear that anything sinister is going on.
One thing for sure is the area around the California Lighthouse is patrolled on regular basis.When I was recently in Aruba I went to that area 3 times and everytime there I met a police car either coming or going.
It just appears that police stop to see what the guys are doing.
I just cannot belive this!!! If only that rock wasn’t in the way. they need to zoom in and find out who these people are, esp the police officers, and bring them in for questioning, under oath, it is very obvious that there is something there on the beach! makes me sick!!!!
I think the Aruban police and government have some explaining to do!! What is this? Has the Holloway and Twitty families seen this?
It’s a gov’t cover-up of facts; all the officals are involved; that’s why nothing will be done, it will implicate everyone including the prosecutors and judges and they do not want to go to jail.
Anyone want to talk to the guy in the green shirt with 2 large, dark colored dogs (Rott. & Great Dane?) and walking stick? He likes to walk the area near the California Lighthouse. I think he may have seen what they were doing – Check video #3

It is apparent they found something. I have always wondered about the video, which shows a polis walking over rocks holding a piece of material looking identical to Natalee’s last seen top. It was magnified on one of these sites, and I swear it looked exactly like HER TOP…the one she was seen wearing at the time she disappeared. What happened to that one?
You are exactly right! I have seen that close up also, it was here @ SM and you are right it did look EXACTLY like Natalee’s top!
i wont speculate what they may have found but it seems painfully obvious to me that police don’t just stand around like that for that amount of time in one location and then cover something with tarp. once again another unanswered question in this investigation. pathetic.
Also, those other three guys, two with white shirts and I think the other has a white suit, are they not looking very attentively to something on the ground? This is on Video 6 also. Hmmn!
In my opinion it looks like they might have found Natalee’s body, also I believe the police have disposed of her, maybe in the landfill. Because of the structure of their Justice Dept., the prosecutor, gets the evidence from the police, and they don’t answer to any one else. Could the entire Justice Dept. be in on this? Isn’t this the same place where they found the “belt” that was believed to be Joran’s, which the police said they didn’t have it tested for DNA, because it was to old.
What happened to the coverage between the time they were spreading out the white material and the red Isuzu Police truck speeding off? That piece of the video would tell a lot. Didn’t eqqusearch say they thought they found a shallow grave where NH might have been buried and someone moved her? (cadaver dogs found it). Wouldn’t there still be traces of blood on the rocks where the guy kept rubbing?
Scared Monkeys, I would like to thank you, I have been keeping up with this case since the beginning, I don’t watch a lot of TV and have gotten almost all of my information from your website. The information you give is always backed up with links to the original sources and stories, not just hearsay or your opinions, I wish everyone was as informative as your Scared Monkey’s website is, I have had no problems when clicking on the newspaper stories, video’s etc, and getting access to them. Thank you for backing up what you post, noone can say that you don’t provide accurate information. p.s. what ever happened to Aruba Girl?
After looking again at video’s #6 and #7, I believe the person in
the turquoise shirt is a women. The person looks like she or he iis part of the investigation. The dog was laying under the white van, that I presume it belongs to the pathologist’s. Who might she be? Maybe the prosecutor!
I remember a long time ago reading something about rocks being painted white and tarp by the lighthouse. Plus, something else about these videos and possibly another one. (one where a video of the island showing weather and time?) then all this was gone…………
Now, here it is again………..interesting.

Well, hmmmm….after viewing the video….well, geez the Aruban Investigators certainly seem to have spent some time covering “something” with that tarp….does anyone out there think this might have been a “crime scene”? Yes, it would be interesting to know if that was Karin Jansenn in the vid. Also, perhaps “someone” on the island may have had the body for sometime. Is “this” what Beth Twitty meant when she said “the Aruban authorities can absolutely make this happen”…? Please people, let me know what you think. Thanks.

I am also wondering if the person taking these pictures ran out of batteries. Why isn’t there videos showing something between the time the pathologist was laying the tarp on the rocks and the back of the police pick up, like the people on the scene putting an object in the police pick up or in the white van. Maybe there is another video but isn’t being shown now. Also it looks to me that the person in the turquoise shirt and the police officers were searching for more evidence, to be sure all of it was found. I wonder what they did with it.
When the reports of a body being dumped at the landfill came out (I know they say that witness was crazy..but..) was there a red truck involved in the story and wasn’t the supposed body wrapped in a tarp? Maybe the polis made a delivery to the landfill.
Yes, it would be interesting if we knew the coordinates on that video…as per Brian’s site, he predicted those coordinates on 8/26/05……I really hope someone finds her body soon.
I believe the entire Aruban Government is corrupt and I don’t know how these people will be exposed. I believe if Natalee’s family continues to keep this in the Media, the government will know it can only mean the tourist business will disappear.

I think you are right. I wouldn’t do a kind and decent thing like search for a missing girl while there were people on a website expressing their opinions. If I were you I would let what these people say be my moral guide. Who cares about doing what is right!
I don’t know about anyone else but I saw a hand/arm being picked up and wrapped by the man with his back to us. Look on his left side after he spreads out the tarp. Look closely. Everyone look and see if you don’t see the hand he picks up and wraps. I think they found Natalee’s body and disposed of it in the landfill to protect Joran. I can’t believe this!

I’m not sure which video you are talking about. In video 6, it looks like the guy kneeling and facing the camera has on a surgical mask. It looks like something is sticking up at one point, to the left of the guy with his back to the camera. If it was an arm, it would be stiff from rigamortis. At this point the one guy walks quickly away for a great distance – sick?
If they are recovering a body, then it must have been Natalee, or are there other bodies laying around on the island? If it is Natalee, then they have had her all along and the cover-up goes deeper than most have even dreamed! If you put this together with supposed statements that something bad happened to Natalee, that they had found her – then not, a man saw a body dumped at the landfill, then a fire there, it certainly seems a picture is emerging.
Now this information comes out about this supposed men’s club, The Lion’s Den, where more than just boys are involved, men toting guns, etc. – looks like this could encompas a lot of men, which explains why the cover-up for these creepy kids.

In video 8, approximately 1:30 minutes into the video is when/where I can see this person with their back to the camera, pick up, wrap and lay back down a hand/arm on the left side of the person who spreads out the tarp with their back to the camera. And it does look very stiff…the arm. Yes, I saw the person you are talking about look like they walked off and I thought the same thing…to be sick.

Yes, it certainly does look like they found Natalee’s body and didn’t let anyone know. Major coverup if you ask me. Just who is behind this? Could be that since P. vds is best buds with the police chief at the time of Natalee’s disappearance, the police chief covered it up for his godson and his best bud. From all I’ve learned about Aruba, it seems very plausible.
That is one very secretive island. I wouldn’t want to go there, not because of the regular citizens of Aruba, but because of the corrupt police/government.
Whoever said that you can see an arm in video #8 at the 1min. 34sec. point is right. Look at it full speed a couple of times and you can see it clearly. There is no doubt it is female, and white. This needs to hit the news big time!

It does look like an arm and a hand, especially if you blow it up to larger mode. Makes you really sick to look at it, and very angry at these people that would cover this up and withhold information from the family!

This is some information from the Clausen Investigation Agency in California. They took a trip over there, did some nosing around, and found these private men’s clubs. It has been speculated that the boys took Natalee there rather than the beach or Joran’s house. considering the place is guarded by armed men, infrared sensors and alarms, something pretty serious is going on, but though “everyone” on the island knows about the place, no one talks about it or goes there.

Go back and look at video 8 again. Do you see what looks like it could be a body on the ground to the right of the guy spreading the tarp between about 1:10 and 1:20? Look at it in large mode. It looks like their could be an arm folded across the chest! That would make what we have thought to be her arm most likely her leg and foot, which if you compare it in size to the man’s arm, could be right. Let me know what you think! Seems like the FBI or someone could enhance this video to get a clearer picture.

Do you guys really believe they have found natalee??? If they did, do you think that they can keep this a secret on this island?? I am going to make myself clear,my aruban are great, but they love to gossip. Like for example: I go to club and dance with a guy, the next day everybody knows exactly how may drinks i had and who i danced with. What i am trying to say is if these people really did find natalee(like you people believe) then it will not take that long for them to tell. And remember there is a reward for any info. about natalee so that is going to make it harder to keep it a secret.

I don’t think it is the average Aruban covering anything up. I think there may be a few politicians and some migrant Dutch judicial officials covering something up. It is amazing what can be accomplished if someone pays enough money, or threatens someone’s life, etc., etc. People can be made to keep quiet. I’m sure those involved do not want to have the average guy on the street knowledgable about this and just walking around discussing it, and I am sure they would like to keep the people’s support, which they would certainly lose if this kind of scandal broke out. I am curious as to what you and others here think about video 8? do you see a body, it looks like one to me, but it IS hard to tell…

Thank you for the info. I found it very interesting. We, that care about it, and Natalee’s family may never know what happened to her, although I hope this isn’t true. I hope she is found. If she were my daughter I would at least want to know for sure and bring her home. I have gotten so involved with Natalee’s case that I feel like she is part of my family. I guess it’s because I’m a mother myself and I only live about an hour or so from Birmingham, so she’s one of us southern girls.

DWild, go back toward the top of the page underneath the artilce about Videos of Natalee search. Go down to the bottom of that where it says Video 1, Video 2 through 8. Click on video 8 and watch closely when it reaches the 1:30 minutes of play time.

I really can’t tell about the body. It still looks like an arm to me. But the video is very grainy so it is really hard to tell. Definitely a caucasian body was found there tho. And obviously deceased since they are wrapping it in a tarp. Guess they don’t have body bags in Aruba. How do we contact the necessary authorities to tell them about the videos? And do you think the videos are in the correct order. One of them seems out of place to me. And what’s with the truck speeding off at the end of 8?
This is the 1st time I have looked at these videos…..my mouth is still hanging open!!!
What the heck, has no-one in the real world of the holloway/twittys seen these? One of the men appeared to have on knee pads and something in his hand….did I see the guy cut/tear the plastic into a smaller piece and did I see a piece of rope/cord? If only we knew who that was in the aqua shirt, and dogs well behaved, aqua shirt walking around perimeter of shrub towards beach..looking???? I have been to the lighthouse and it is some very rough terrain….very sharp limestone and coral rocks…lots of trash, broken glass and beer cans…also lots of graffitti. Wish we knew what happened just before we see the back of the red truck.
It looks to me like they found a body, I don’t think they would spend all that time for anything else. It even looks like they could have been doing an autopsy. If this was Natalee, is it possible that this was where the three boys took Natalee, raped her and then she died there. What a chilling thought, we could be looking at the crime scene.

IU might be a little on my response for this but, I find it interesting, that whoever thes individuals are there is a lot on interest in something in the rocks that would require a tarp to cover it up. What exactly was there that attracted that much interested in that one spot. I think that gentle man could provide some infor as to what if anything they may have picked up and put in the vehicle. You can not miss someone carrying something in a tarp. Any updates regarding the videos
It is possible the Aruban Police know about these videos. I am sure the Holloway/Twitty know about them, but must be keeping quite, because just about everytime evidence is found, somehow it disappears, or they have a lying excuse in regards to it. Not much can be done about prosecuting these three boys if the Justice Dept. is covering up for them. They blatantly lie in public so we know their statements to the police are lies also. I am pleased to see that the Holloway/Twitty families are not giving up. It is going to be very tough to expose the entire Aruban Justic Dept.
