As the Mainstream Media Fades
Scared Monkeys keeps their eye on the ball. The mainstream medias coverage of the Natalee Holloway disappearance has been sidetracked because of the horrendous damage caused my hurricane Katrina. That is understandable, unfortunate for the family and those who care, but it is understandable.
However, this case is still an ongoing case. We understand this, and are committed to following through with our coverage and commitment to the story. To this end, the Aruban media have picked up that we are doing some of the more aggressive reporting on the subject.
Aruba Today carries a quote from Scared Monkeys on their front page.
And Amigo carried this over the weekend:
De verklaring eindigt met: We geven niet op. We gaan niet weg. De verklaring is te vinden op de aan Holloway gewijde blog op de website scaredmonkeys.com.
Translated:
The statement ended with: “We are not giving up, we won’t go away.” This statement is to be found at the Blog dedicated to Holloway on the website scaredmonkeys.com
As a blog we are not under the constraints the major media are. Later today, we will be putting up the interview we did with Paul Reynolds over the weekend when news of the suspects was occurring.
We can continue to devote our energy in helping to find Natalee, while making sure that justice is served. For her and others.
