Democratic Hated; Trickle Down Theory
Is is any wonder that the Democratic minions are as hate filled and over the top with their visceral display of contempt for President George W. Bush? They have such classy role models to learn from. Take the Senate Democratic minority leader for example. While the President is overseas trying to repair and deal with the strained relations with the Europeans, Harry Reid decides to take cheap shots at the President and bless us with his insightful wisdom that, “I think this guy is a loser.”
“The man’s father is a wonderful human being,” Reid said in response to a question about President Bush’s policies. “I think this guy is a loser.
“I think President Bush is doing a bad job,” he added to a handful of chuckles.
Republican National Communications Director Brian Jones issued a statement calling the senator’s comments “a sad development but not surprising from the leader of a party devoid of optimism, ideas or solutions to the issues people care about most.”
After the statement was released, Reid phoned the Review-Journal to acknowledge he thought he crossed the line.
No kidding. With the President overseas and about to embark on this important European trip the words are rather puzzling and the timing even more so. One can only come to the opinion Senator Reid that you want the President to fail and will do anything to accomplish it. When the President fails, the United States fails. Is that what you and the Democratic Party are after? Could you and the Democratic Party look any more petty or small? Is is any wonder that the Party of “no ideas” and continual “juvenile” hate does not win National elections? Harry you may want to check and see what your predecessor is doing these days before you decide to spout off and start acting like him.

The fact that nothing is sacred to dems and to them respect is dead, really irks me. Nice post! Maybe I’ll run into you guys some time!
FYI I’m a Democrat but this doesn’t come close to accurately discribing me. You’re painting with a very wide brush and I image you are probably missing the majority of Democrats with lines such as:
“…the Democratic minions are as hate filled and over the top with their visceral display of contempt for President George W. Bush…”
I just surfed your blog when you mentioned it in the local politics meeting at blognashville. We disagree on politics, but welcome to Nashville all the same.
I forgot, Republicans always held their tounges about Bill Clinton, right?
Kevin,
Thanks for reading.
Tom
Kevin,
We can respectfully disagree, that is the key. I have no problem with an alternate point of view. I actually enjoy it more discussing different points of view. What you are failing to see in this discussion is that the political discourse is out of control. One visit to DU shows us this. That does not make a Dems that way but there is a larger amount than you might think. Northern Democratic discourse is much different than in the South.
This is a mater of heads of a political party that should know better. If they do not, then what can we expect from those below?
Thank you for the welcome. Nashville is beautiful and the people have been great. I look forward in the future to you coming on in the future and having lively and respectful political debate.
