Please support MoveOn.org immediately. They have formally announced that they have taken over the Democratic Party.
”Now it’s our party,” Eli Pariser, head of MoveOn’s political operations, wrote last December. “We bought it, we own it and we’re going to take it back.”
As Conservatives, we must continue to support this movement. For every rally that MoveOn.org has, the Republican Party gets stronger.
These wonderful moments have been brought to us by MoveOn.org .
Last month, another MoveOn rally in support of filibusters, held at a hotel near the Capitol, featured an appearance by Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, along with Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Charles Schumer, Robert Byrd, Edward Kennedy and others. The 87-year-old Byrd worked the crowd into an almost evangelical fervor, waving his copy of the Constitution and yelling, “Praise God!” and “Hallelujah!” as he denounced Republicans.
So lets strengthen MoveOn.org! We need more Howard Deans running the DNC! Any time a Democrat wants to think in a rational manner, they need to be stopped. If you have the time, money, and inclination, support the Democratic Underground. They are the new think tank for the democratic party.
The democrats have always been radical, but they have been afraid to show it. Any chance we can get the Democrats to publically radicalize their positions, it make it easier to reach the magical 61 Senators to break a filibuster. And in the end, that is the most important thing.
So Support MoveOn.org for a more conservative country!
Florida has the right to protect itself, now
Governor Jeb Bush signed into law today the “Self Protection Act” , which allows to “meet force with force, including deadly force” when under attack in their home, car or elsewhere to prevent death or “great bodily harm.” Previously a person had to show that they attempted to flee before using force, otherwise they were as guilty as their attacker. This legislation has been fought by the Democrats intensely , with such “luminaries as “Sarah Brady” to claim it is a “terrible, terrible mistake” that will revert the state to “an almost uncivilized society.”
Well Sarah, I think it is a terrible mistake to have a society where an aggressive sociopath who wants to do bodily harm can do so, unless you try to flee. They said the same claptrap about the concealed weapons legislation. But the violent crime rate went down 50% because the criminals were not the only ones who had the guns. Why do you think the criminals were car-jacking the rental cars coming from the airport in Miami? Because , due to regulations that prohibit guns on airplanes, the criminals knew that these people were unarmed.
When you can lower the crime rate 50% in a state the size of Florida, you are doing okay!
So to Jeb Bush and the Florida Legislature, CONGRATULATIONS ON A JOB WELL DONE!

Do Democrats Really Need Conferences To Figure Out Why They Lose Elections
Following the 2004 Presidential Elections the Democratic Party had conferences after conference, meeting after meeting with liberal think tanks and “so-called” Democratic pundits explaining my they lost. Every excuse in the world was dreamed up from Republican’s lied to Karl Rove is evil and let us not forget Bush stole the election. What makes the matter even more insane is the Left’s complete misunderstanding of GWB and his connection with Americans. The Left loves to cite polls, yet we remember how inaccurate and skewed exit polls can be. The Democrats thought up of everything except the most simple answer that would most Americans could relate to, understand and be repulsed.
McGehee gets it why can’t the Democrats. Its as simple as the over the top hate against Bush that is represented by the Left.
Writing books on assassinating the President. Creating art the depicts the same. Now doing radio skits that promote the same liberal hate agenda.
What would be the point of doing such a bit on a radio station? Was it supposed to be funny? Informative? What? Other than pander to the insane Left and God forbid incite someone to act, what redeeming quality would come from such a radio bit?
DO DEMOCRATS REALLY NEED TO FIND OUT WHY THEY LOSE ELECTIONS? JUST LOOK AT WHAT SUPPORTS YOUR PARTY AND THERE IS NO NEED TO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY OTHERS FLOCK AWAY FROM YOU IN MASS.
HATE IS NOT A POLICY.
Seems that Michelle Malkin gets it also. Michelle has another reason as to why such disgusting behavior was done, “Is this her cheap, sick attempt to boost those pathetic ratings?

Housing Bubble, What Housing Bubble
The nay sayer’s, otherwise known as those who know nothing and love to predict doom on the premise that all good things must come to an end, predicted 2005 was the end of the housing boom in the US. They would have been wrong. However, the red-hot market keeps getting hotter.
And it’s not just in Florida and Connecticut. The government reported Tuesday that purchases of new single-family homes shot up 12.2 percent in March, the biggest percentage gain in more than a decade. The big gain pushed sales to an annual rate of 1.43 million units, the highest in history and well past the 1.3 million rate set last October.
The March surge surprised analysts. They had been forecasting sales would decline around 2 percent last month, reflecting the rise in mortgage rates during the month. The 30-year mortgage rose at the end of March to 6.04 percent, the high so far this year.
But now rates have turned back down again, a development that many economists believe will support further gains in home sales in coming months.
A nationwide survey done by Freddie Mac showed rates on 30-year, fixed-rate mortgages have fallen for three straight weeks to 5.8 percent last week, very close to their low for the year of 5.57 percent in early February
What analyst do not take into account is that fact that rising incremental interest rates are not worrying the American public. There are those that owned homes or remember their parents owning back in the late 70′s when there were double digit interest rates that fluctuated like a Geiger counter measuring a California earthquake. Also the fact that more people have access to mortgages and home ownership than ever before. Blacks and Hispanics are at unprecedented home ownership.
I think what many analysts miss is the following:
Home ownership is not only looked upon as a great asset and form of investment. Home ownership is still one of the great American Dreams.
Internet Continues To Grow As A News Source
Techdirt is a great resource for Technology News. Here is a post from today:
Internet Continues To Grow As A News Source
Upwards of 26 percent of adults now prefer the Internet as their primary news source, which is up 35 percent since 2001. These gains are at the expense of newspapers and magazines. Forming a viable online strategy is clearly becoming more critical for the newspapers and magazines. As we’ve discussed before, while it’s still unclear if newsprint will go away completely, the ones putting their content in walled gardens are accelerating their demise. Prohibit users from finding their content will serve only to turn them off of your content and look elsewhere. True, they might cannibalize offline sales, but it sounds like users are leaving anyway; might as well give them a place to go.
