Kerry: Do Something Important Like Go Windsurfing
There seems to be a trend with vanquished Democrats Presidential hopefuls lately. Whether it was Al Gore in 2000 or John Kerry in 2004, they just can’t seem to stop whining and take their loss like a man. Kerry’s latest excuse as to why he lost seems to be based on the fact that those Wascally Wepublicans used trickery to keep voters from the polls. Get over it.
“Last year too many people were denied their right to vote, too many who tried to vote were intimidated,” the Massachusetts senator said at an event sponsored by the state League of Women Voters.
Kerry also cited examples Sunday of how people were duped into not voting.
“Leaflets are handed out saying Democrats vote on Wednesday, Republicans vote on Tuesday. People are told in telephone calls that if you’ve ever had a parking ticket, you’re not allowed to vote,” he said.
In one of the more comical examples cited by the Democratic nominee that lost the popular vote in 2004 rather handily; Kerry referenced that Democrats were not allowed to vote in Democratic areas:
“…that voting irregularities in largely Democratic areas made it difficult for voters to cast ballots in the November election. A lawsuit in Ohio cited long lines and a shortage of voting machines in predominantly minority neighborhoods, but the Ohio Supreme Court dismissed the suit.”
I hate to inform John, but those heavily Democratic areas he is referring to are controlled by DEMOCRATS. Just like in FL, four years earlier, Democrats only have themselves to blame if they cannot competently run election polls in areas they control.
Senator Kerry, do you ever think it may be you who lost he election.? Mr Kerry, if you feel so strongly that you were wronged and their were voting irregularities then why don’t you sponsor a bill that Federally standardizes voting and registration? Let’s put an end to felons voting, double and triple voting, same day registration fraud and multiple state registrations to concentrate on fair and accurate voting results. I didn’t think so.
Laura Ingraham wrote a book recently about liberal elites stating called “Shut Up and Sing.” The book based on the premise among others that They (Liberals) think you’re stupid. However, in John Kerry’s case, although he also thinks voters are too stupid to understand how and when to vote, what best fits Kerry would be SHUT UP AND WINDSURF.
Over at the 1754 Blog, “there’s nothing more pathetic than a Boston dandy who lost the Presidency.” Well said.

James Hudnall also right on the money. I just can’t understand why he wasn’t more appealing?
HILLARY TRUTH BOOK COMING OUT – Editors Angry
The editors that published the Kerry Official Campaign Book are upset that a book that tells the truth about Hillary is coming out. The author, Edward Klein, had access that no conservative author has ever had. He was a former NYT MAGAZINE editor, VANITY FAIR, PARADE contributor.
This is a Drudge Exclusive.
The project being billed as “Hillary in the Raw”, like you’ve never seen her before, is set to drop in September by liberal Ed Klein, former NYT MAGAZINE editor, VANITY FAIR, PARADE contributor and author of multiple works on the Kennedys.
“The revelations in it should sink her candidacy,” a source close to Klein warns the DRUDGE REPORT.

Last week, Clinton stalwart Ann Lewis fired off an email to supporters warning of the ‘Swift Boat’ tactics coming against the former first lady turned senator.
Now the coming sales pitch for ‘ THE TRUTH ABOUT HILLARY What She Knew, When She Knew It, and How Far She’ll Go to Become President’ reads: ‘Just as the swift boat veterans convinced millions of voters that John Kerry lacked the character to be president, Klein’s book will influence everyone who is sizing up the character of Hillary Clinton…

A fight has developed over the book inside the giant publishing house PENGUIN, sources tell DRUDGE.
A publishing source attending the PENGUIN sales conference last week in Connecticut describes high emotions surrounding the coming publication of ‘THE TRUTH ABOUT HILLARY.’
There has been a bitter and hostile reaction to the book among top PENGUIN editors — editors who last year published John Kerry’s official campaign book.
An Amazing Masters – Congratulations Tiger Woods
Glad I got all my chores done before the telecast started. What a great tournament.
Congratulations to Tiger. And if you did not catch the post tournament interview, he broke down as he dedicated the tournament to his sick Dad. It was a very touching moment.
Intellectual Diversity on the College Campus (Part 2)
The Washington Post has an interesting article about the concerns parents have about college admissions and the drastically liberal atmosphere.
Colleges have long been hotbeds of political agitation, of course. But where it was once students who did the acting out, as they spread their intellectual and philosophical wings, now the professors and administrators are more likely to be playing politics — and more and more Americans with college-age kids are getting fed up with it. In 18 years of in-the-trenches experience counseling kids on their college choices, I’ve never seen the unhappiness as widespread as it is today. If colleges don’t tone down the politics, and figure out how to control ballooning costs, they run the risk of turning off enough American consumers that many campuses could marginalize themselves right out of existence.
Colleges are having an ever-harder time making what they do comprehensible to the families footing the bills. I counsel families of all political stripes — liberal, conservative and in-between — and varied income levels, but they all agree on one thing: the overly politicized atmosphere on campuses is distracting colleges from providing a solid education to our young people. …
As a consultant, I feel the need to advise my clients to cover all their political bases. Recently, I was advising an Eagle Scout who was justifiably proud of his accomplishment and wanted to highlight it on his college applications. But I worried that the national Boy Scouts’ stand against homosexuals as scout leaders might somehow count against him in the admissions process at some schools. So I suggested that he get involved in an AIDS hotline to show his sensitivity to an issue often linked to the gay community.
The need for this kind of double-thinking is good for my consulting practice, but I find it troubling. Yet trying to anticipate potential concerns about my students’ backgrounds or qualifications is something I increasingly feel I have to do.
Think about it. An EAGLE SCOUT has to work an AIDS hotline to help with his college admission. Tell me this is not absurd!
