Michael Schiavo Continues to Throw Salt in the Wounds

Amid controversy and objection from Terri’s parents and siblings, Michael Schiavo continued to make a bad situation even worse by cremating Terri Schiavo on Saturday.

Michael Schiavo is required to tell his wife’s parents of any memorial services he plans for Terri Schiavo and where her ashes are interred.

The Schindler’s plan to have their own memorial service Tuesday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Gulfport.

I suppose these were her wishes too, whereas there were no written Will either to verify Terri’s specific desires. What’s the rush Michael? Even in time of war enemies have called a truce and take the fallen soldiers off the battle field. Would it have been that difficult to have allowed the parents to have had a Catholic funeral for their daughter and to bury her near them? To the very end and even after no matter what side of the position you take on this story, this is beginning to look just spiteful on Michael’s part.

conjecture on my part …BUT had M.Shiavo let her parents intern her body DO YOU REALLY think that for a moment that her parents would have continued to say nasty things about terrie’s HUSBAND? of course they would. I would even go as far out on a limb to say they may have conducted their own autopsy if they could have gotten her remains.
Yes, this problably was her wishes. She was 28 years old when she lasped into a coma like state. Her HUSBAND not her parents or the media or the state or the federal goverment should decide where and what to do with her remains.

      Charlotte, are you Catholic?

How many Catholics do you know that get or want to be cremated?

Charlotte – The point of the post was, don’t you think that it would have been OK to let the Schindler’s have a Catholic Funeral with Terri and then Michael could have cremated it, if that was HIS wish?

Why PA? No one lives there, not even Michael Schiavo. Who is supposed to visit Terri? Ahhh … no one.
