10,000 Visitors, We’re so proud???

Red and I are watching our sitemeter, visitor number 10,000 is about to arrive on our site. All in 2 weeks, we are so proud of ourselves. But you know when you get too proud reality smacks you right in the face!

So you want to know how we got visitor number 10,000 to our site. Some sick bastard at University of Maryland did a yahoo search on “videos of monkeys being hit by cars”. What the hell is that? Part of me was praying that it was a doctoral student was doing his dissertation on automobile impacts? I sincerely doubt it though.

So if you know anyone at University of Maryland who has a strange fascination with Monkeys and automobiles, run the hell away.

Do you ever get the feeling that God does not like it when one gets prideful?

To be honest though, we are very thankful and humbled that people would take time to visit us and read our opinions. We are dedicated to creating an interesting and fun site, and appreciate (almost) all of our visitors.

   Gee some how I was wishing it to be our Fox News reader or the person that views us from NBC. I even hoped that it would have been one of our many military visitors.

   Instead we have a physics students doing a thesis on monkey/car impact studies. At least I am praying that is what he was doing.

   Let’s hope that is what he is doing. Otherwise I think you all might have to add a disclaimer on the site…no matter how much they tell us we are related to Monkeys I don’t wanna watch that stuff…

   I met a guy who was in LIFE magazine in the 30’s or 40’s the other day who taught a monkey to drive and was on the cover of the magazine I think…how random is that?
