THE FANS # 1 Player … Alejandro Villanueva, the One Steeler Who Stood for Anthem Now Has Best-Selling NFL Jersey

WAKE THE HELL UP NFL … LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ONE PLAYER WHO ACTUALLY STOOD FOR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM

Wanna know what a real hero and patriot looks like? Prior the the game on Sunday at of all places Soldier Field in Chicago, Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Alejandro Villanueva decided to honor his team, his military band of brothers in arms, rather than a sports team, and stood for the National Anthem in the tunnel. This is what a hero looks like. Standing by yourself as all others act like sheep. The result of his heroic and respectful actions, his jersey became the best-selling player in the NFL by midday Monday. Talk about putting things in perspective. Alejandro Villanueva was criticized by his coach and by some players by not doing what the rest of the team voted on. However, this man, this former Army Ranger who earned a Bronze Star and served three tours in Afghanistan served with a much more important team. It was that TEAM who defend and protect our way of life. NFL fans get it, sadly the NFL, owners and the players do not. When an offensive lineman’s jersey becomes the #1 seller ahead of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, what does that tell you NFL?

The NFL better get their act in gear and soon, otherwise you will be dead to many of us fans forever.

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Alejandro Villanueva became the best-selling player in the NFL by midday Monday.

A spokesman for Fanatics, which runs the NFL’s online store, confirmed to ESPN that, over the past 24 hours, more Villanueva gear, including jerseys and name and number T-shirts, has been ordered than that of any other NFL player.

Villanueva beat out New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for the top spot. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers rounded out the top five over the past day.

Both the NFL Shop and Fanatics websites had Villanueva jerseys and T-shirts in men’s and women’s sizes.

A former Army Ranger who earned a Bronze Star and served three tours in Afghanistan, Villanueva was the only Steelers player who came outside the tunnel during Sunday’s national anthem, after the team collectively decided not to be on the sideline during the song. Pictures and video of Villanueva standing, with his hand on his heart, filled social media networks.

His actions weren’t supported by all, including his own coach. Asked after the Steelers’ 23-17 loss to the Chicago Bears what he thought of Villanueva’s positioning for the anthem, Mike Tomlin responded, “I was looking for 100 percent participation. We were gonna be respectful of our football team.”

The NFL is about to learn a real tough lesson and that is they are not bigger that the United States. Their players are not heroes, those that defend our freedoms are. Their players are not role models, they are over-paid, spoiled millionaires who doesn’t have a clue as to what true sacrifice means. Americans and fans know the difference. The NFL is entertainment, not politics. It is supposed to be a diversion away from division and hateful politics. Thank you so little for ruining it. You could have nipped this in the bud last year, but the coward NFL commissioner was too busy with over-infalted balls and the owners were too busy hiding and making money.

Donald Trump Picks Dr. Ben Carson to be HUD Secretary

FANTASTIC AND SOLID PICK!!!

The Politico is reporting that President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Dr. Ben Carson to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Carson stated, “I am honored to accept the opportunity to serve our country in the Trump administration. I feel that I can make a significant contribution particularly by strengthening communities that are most in need.” Trump has made the fixing of the inner cities high on his agenda (video 9:35). Donald Trump said in s statement,  ”We have talked at length about my urban renewal agenda and our message of economic revival, very much including our inner cities. Ben shares my optimism about the future of our country and is part of ensuring that this is a Presidency representing all Americans.”

Dr. Benjamin Carson’s Amazing Speech at the National Prayer Breakfast with Obama Present

President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Dr. Ben Carson, a onetime political rival who became one of his leading surrogates on the campaign trail, to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Carson, who challenged Trump during the Republican primary, is the first African-American selected to serve in the president-elect’s Cabinet. The retired neurosurgeon has little experience in housing or management, but he has weighed in on the issue. In a 2015 op-ed for The Washington Times, he labeled a new fair housing rule a “social-engineering” scheme.

“Ben Carson has a brilliant mind and is passionate about strengthening communities and families within those communities,” Trump said Monday morning in the statement from his transition team. “We have talked at length about my urban renewal agenda and our message of economic revival, very much including our inner cities. Ben shares my optimism about the future of our country and is part of ensuring that this is a Presidency representing all Americans. He is a tough competitor and never gives up.”

NYT/CNBC’s Debate Moderator John Harwood Advises Clinton Campaign & Gloats About Provoking Donald Trump At GOP Primary Debate

AS IF YOU NEEDED MORE INFO TO SHOW THAT THE MSM WAS NOT IN THE TANK FOR HILLARY CLINTON …

The latest Wikileaks emails show that NYT/CNBC’s John Harwood purposely tried to provoke Donald Trump in a Republican primary debate and than later gloated about it to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. UNREAL. What a shock, anther cozy relationship between the MSM and the Democrat party’s presidential nominee. Harwood also emailed Podesta last year in May alerting him to watch out for Ben Carson’s campaign. Isn’t the media supposed to report and investigate the candidates, not be in bed with them?

This crap has got to come to an end. The medias job is to inform the people, not be a propaganda wing of the Democrat party.

The latest batch of emails from the account of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta show New York Times reporter and CNBC anchor John Harwood giving the Clinton campaign tips about other candidates and bragging about feeling vindicated by provoking Donald Trump as a debate moderator.

In a December 2015 email to Podesta, Harwood bragged about his much-criticized debate performance in which he asked Trump “Let’s be honest, is this a comic book version of a presidential campaign?”

Harwood titled the email “I imagine…” and continued the sentence in the body of the email, writing, “…that Obama feels some (sad) vindication at this demonstration of his years-long point about the opposition party veering off the rails.”

Wikileaks email John Harwood

Following the pathetic performance by moderator John Harwood, Trump ripped him a new one and later said, Harwood’s carer is over or severely threatened. After getting caught with the above kind of email and that he is obviously in the tank for Hillary and part of the Democrat media complex, his career should be over.

Ben Carson Reveals Five Names on Trump Vice President List

The 5 people who are supposedly on Trumps VP list … YAWN!!!

According to Breitbart.com, the following names were relaeled by Ben Carson as possible Rump VP’s … Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 VP running mate, Sen. Ted Cruz, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Marco Rubio, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. I just don’t see it. Sorry, Sarah Palin, been there, done that. Chris Christie, seriously? Which one, he or Trump will insult more people? Sen. Ted Cruz? Hmm, way too much vitriol between Trump and Cruz, talk about your Odd Couple. Sen. Marco Rubio, why? I am not even sure he can deliver Florida. As a matter of fact, Trump destroyed Rubio in FLA, so what does he bring to the ticket except establishment politics? Ohio Gov. John Kasich was only in the race as he was campaigning for the job of VP. Ohio is important, but I just can’t stand this mushy middle Republican.

My choice for Trump would be Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL).

VP

Dr. Ben Carson confirmed five people on presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s list of potential vice presidential running mates in a recent interview.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 VP running mate to John McCain, was one of the five Carson said was on the list. The rest are all former 2016 GOP presidential candidates: Trump’s closest competitor Sen. Ted Cruz, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Marco Rubio, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Carson named the VP contenders to the Washington Post during a car ride with his wife Candy to a TV interview. Carson has been traveling as a spokesman for Trump. He has also been placed on a committee working on pinning down a running mate for the real estate mogul turned GOP presumptive presidential nominee.

Candy was noted in the backseat exchange as saying Carson was not on the list. They had been discussing a poll which named Carson as a favorable Trump running mate.

Ben Carson Says, Donald Trump Calling Me A Child Molester … “It Did Work”

NOTE TO BEN CARSON, SOME ONE CALLING ANOTHER CA CHILD MOLESTER IS NOT JUST POLITICS …

Wow, former Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson admitted that Trump attacking him and even calling him a child molester worked. Carson stated that the attacks of person distraction did work to an extent and some people must have believed him. Carson also went on to say he chalked it up to politics. REALLY BEN? Sorry, this is not politics, its disgusting. Which makes Ben Carson’s endorsement of Trump even more surprising. It was not the Cruz campaign’s so-called lies that Carson was getting out of the race that cost Carson votes in Iowa as Trump railed on, it was Trump’s viscous attacks on Carson’s character. The fact that Carson never fought back on such hideous comments was puzzling. Carson was asked this type of attack should be the political norm. Carson stated no, ”but neither should always retaliating.” Actually Ben, this was worth fighting back over. Americans did not think that Carson was a child molester as Trump opined. What Americans thought was, if you are not going to defend your self over such vile personal attacks, how were you going to defend them?

I am not sure Mr. Carson if we want this to become the political norm and you just set a precedent for it.

After his surprising endorsement of Donald Trump, former candidate Ben Carson said Wednesday that he understands why Trump attacked him during his campaign, even calling him a child molester, saying “it did work.”

Yahoo News and Finance Anchor Bianna Golodryga asked Carson what he thought of some of Trump’s more vicious attacks against him during his time in the 2016 race, citing when Trump insulted Carson’s intelligence and questioning whether or not he was a child molester. The retired neurosurgeon chalked it up to politics.

“He said it was political, he was concerned about the fact that he couldn’t shake me,” Carson said. “I understand, you know, politics, and particularly the politics of personal distraction. You have to admit to some degree that it did work. A lot of people believed him.”

Golodryga asked if this type of attack should become the norm and if, by Carson’s logic, she should teach her son to do the same as Trump did.

“It shouldn’t become status quo,” Carson said. “But neither should always retaliating.”
