Talk about Life Imitating the movies, this time the Bruce Willis action thriller ’Armageddon’ – VIDEO … A meteor came crashing down in Russia’s Ural mountains and injuring at least 500 people and spreading panic. According to the BBC, of 514 people injured in the Chelyabinsk region, 11 were being treated in hospital, the regional emergencies agency said in a statement. The UK Daily Mail is claiming that there were over 950 injured when the meteor streaking across the sky crashed at around 9.20am local time. A meteor crashing in Russia’s Ural mountains has injured at least 500 people, as the shockwave blew out windows and rocked buildings. Most of those hurt suffered minor cuts and bruises but some received head injuries, Russian officials report. A fireball was seen streaking through the clear morning sky above the city of Yekaterinburg, followed by loud bangs. President Vladimir Putin said he thanked God no big fragments had fallen in populated areas. A large meteor fragment landed in a lake near Chebarkul, a town in the neighbouring Chelyabinsk region. Much of the impact was felt in the city of Chelyabinsk, some 200km (125 miles) south of Yekaterinburg. “It was quite extraordinary,” Chelyabinsk resident Polina Zolotarevskaya told BBC News. “We saw a very bright light and then there was a kind of a track, white and yellow in the sky.” “The explosion was so strong that some windows in our building and in the buildings that are across the road and in the city in general, the windows broke.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin & Kremlin Cheers Obama Victory …They Can’t Wait for His “Flexibility”
Following the election of Barack Obama Tuesday night for a second term, the Kremlin cheered Obama’s victory. Why you might ask? They were looking forward to his new “flexibility” after his last election of course as Obama told Russian President Dmitri Medvedev when Obama thought no one was listening.
MOSCOW – Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory note to President Obama after his re-election Tuesday, his spokesman said. The Kremlin says it will make the text public after the Americans have received it. Putin is also expected to call Obama personally “in the near future.” “In general, the Kremlin took the news about Barack Obama’s victory in the elections very positively,” spokesman Dmitri Peskov said, according to the Interfax news agency. “We have the hope that positive initiatives in bilateral relations and in Russian-U.S. interaction on the international arena in the interests of international security and stability will be developed and improved,” he added. It is perhaps not surprising that the Kremlin is pleased with the outcome of the election, especially since President Obama told then-President Dmitri Medvedev earlier this year that he would have more flexibility after the election to negotiate NATO plans to place components of a missile-defense shield in Eastern Europe.

Finally a Poll that Obama Leads Big Over Romney … Obama Leads 41% to 8% in Russia!!!
OBAMA LEADS ROMNEY 41% TO 8% IN RUSSIA!!!
Finally, the Obama campaign has something to cheer about. They are leading by 33 points over Romney. The polling is outside the margin of error and points to a certain Obama victory and provides momentum for Team reelect Obama in the swing states. Oh wait, the poll was taken in Russia. Oh, NEVER MIND!
An overwhelming percentage of Russians said the reelection of US President Barack Obama would better serve Russia’s national interests as opposed to the presidential challenger, Mitt Romney.
With the presidential race in the United States going down to the wire among American voters, Mitt Romney must be thankful that Russian citizens are not eligible to vote in US elections.
In a nationwide poll that tracked Russians’ political attitudes, a whopping 41 per cent of respondents said they want to see President Obama voted back into the White House, while just 8 per cent expressed preference for Republican challenger Mitt Romney.
Makes one wonder about Obama’s off-mike comments to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, “This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility.”

The UN, Hugo Chavez, Raul Castro and Vladimir Putin Endorse Obama for Four more years … UN Warns America Nor to Elect Romney
Could there be four better Presidential endorsements for Mitt Romney than the United Nations, Putin, Chavez and Castro endorsing Barack Obama for President of the United States?
As reported at Breitbart, the UN warns Americans not to elect Mitt Romney.Really, the UN is telling us to do something? Who the hell are you people to tell us to do anything? You act as if you are actually relevant. Just curious, when was the last time that the United Nation’s had America’s best interests at heart?
As stated at the Jawa Report, that is more than enough vote for Romney in itself. Why would any right minded thinking American citizen do what the un-UN wanted? But of course water-boarding had nothing to do with extracting information from 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and information from Al Qaeda operative Hassan Ghul in leading to the death of Bin Laden.
The United Nations Special Rapporteur on Counter-Terrorism and Human Rights has warned Americans not to elect Republican Mitt Romney in next month’s presidential election, saying that doing so would be “a democratic mandate for torture.”
The UN’s Ben Emmerson was referring to Romney’s refusal to rule out the use of waterboarding in interrogating terror detainees, a practice that President Barack Obama has ended.
But wait, there is more ringing endorsements for Barack Obama. Hugo Chavez, Raul Castro and Vladimir Putin all endorse Obama. So will the Obama campaign make up new bumper stickers, signs and pins, Dictators for Obama? So why would such individuals want to back Barack Obama? Could it be because he is a weak, ineffective US President who likes bowing to foreign leaders?

Global Approval for International Rock Star Barack Obama Declines Drastically Since The One Became President
The International Rock Star has fallen …
According to a recent Pew Research Center poll, Barack Obama, the International rock star President is no longer.Global opinion of Obama was declined in 21 countries. As reported at the Politico, approval of Obama’s international policies has dropped from 78% to 63% in Europe; from 34% to 15% in Muslim countries; from 40% to 22% in Russia; and from 57% to 27% in China.
Some countries remained confident in Obama, but others like Muslim countries did not. Hmm. You mean that Obama apology tour and the outreach by Obama to the Muslim world no longer calling it a “global war on terror” but instead an “overseas contingency operation” did not work? Go figure. Barack Obama also likes to tout the drone strikes to show how tough he is on terrorism, even though Obama inherited it from GWB. It would seem that in predominantly Muslim nations, American anti-terrorism efforts are still widely unpopular.
Global approval of President Barack Obama’s policies has declined significantly since he first took office, while overall confidence in him and attitudes toward the U.S. have slipped modestly as a consequence.
Europeans and Japanese remain largely confident in Obama, albeit somewhat less so than in 2009, while Muslim publics remain largely critical. A similar pattern characterizes overall ratings for the U.S. – in the EU and Japan, views are still positive, but the U.S. remains unpopular in nations such as Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and Pakistan.
Meanwhile, support for Obama has waned significantly in China. Since 2009, confidence in the American president has declined by 24 percentage points and approval of his policies has fallen 30 points. Mexicans have also soured on his policies, and many fewer express confidence in him today.
