32 Year Old American Adventurer Harry Devert Missing in Mexico … Not Been in Touch Since 1/25/14
32 year old Harry Devert is missing in Mexico and has not been in touch with his family or girlfriend since January 25, 2014. On that day, Devert sent his girlfriend Sarah Ashley Schiear an ominous text via the WhatsApp messenger app that said, “Just got an hour and a half long escort out of some area it was too dangerous for me to be … Gonna get back on the road soon. Apparently there’s another military escort waiting for me in some other town… I’m running way late because of the crazy military stuff.” As reported at Fox Latino, Devert, was traveling on a green Kawasaki motorcycle, has visited a monarch butterfly reserve in Macheors, a city in southwestern Mexico, and was planning to visit a beach in Zihuatanejo, on the Pacific coast, made famous be the final scene in the “Shawshank Redemption” was filmed. I hope they find Harry Devert safe.

Harry Devert’s motorcycle journey from the United States to Latin America is somewhat reminiscent of “The Motorcycle Diaries,” which recount the South American travels of revolutionary Ernesto “Che” Guevara on an old motorbike in search of his insurgent spirit.
But Devert, 32, who left a job as a trader in finance to travel the world, has not been in touch with his mother or girlfriend in New York since January 25. That day he sent girlfriend Sarah Ashley Schiear an ominous text via the WhatsApp messenger app.
“Just got an hour and a half long escort out of some area it was too dangerous for me to be,” the message said. “Stopping for lunch and … voila Internet. … Gonna get back on the road soon. Apparently there’s another military escort waiting for me in some other town… I’m running way late because of the crazy military stuff…hopefully get a chance to talk to you tonight when I (hopefully) finally arrive.”
He had checked out of a bed and breakfast in the southwestern Mexican state of Michoacan and planned to travel to a beach in Zihuatanejo, on the Pacific coast, that was in the final scene of the film “The Shawshank Redemption,” according to friends and family.
“My son is a great communicator and he always lets me know — because I’m anxious — as close as he can where he’s going to be or if he’s going to be out of touch,” his mother, Ann Devert, told CNN Saturday.
Last week, Ann Devert contacted both the American and French embassies in Mexico. Her son, born in France, has dual citizenship.
In a statement Saturday, a U.S. State Department spokesperson confirmed that a U.S. citizen was reported missing near Morelia, Michoacan (MAP), but declined further comment “due to privacy considerations.”
“When a U.S. citizen is reported missing in Mexico, the U.S. Embassy or Consulate works with both the missing person’s family and Mexican and U.S. law enforcement agencies to locate the missing individual and return him or her to safety,” the statement said. “For missing person cases in Mexico, Mexican law enforcement institutions generally have jurisdiction and play the lead role in the conduct of investigations. We work closely with Mexican authorities to monitor such cases and seek progress as quickly as possible.”

Fears are growing for an American who left a job in finance to motorbike through central and South America and has now vanished.
Harry Devert, 32, was last heard from two weeks ago when he texted his girlfriend on Whats App to say he was waiting for a military escort to travel through a dangerous area of Mexico.

Good Riddance … Convicted Cop Killer Edgar Tamayo Arias Who Was in US Illegally Executed Tonight in Texas for 1994 Murder of Officer Guy Gaddis
DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS … Let this be a message to every foreign national individual in the United States illegally, you kill a police officer in a state that has the death penalty and you will be put to death.
After 20 years, justice is finally served. Tonight Mexican national Edgar Tamayo Arias was executed in Huntsville, Texas for the 1994 killing of a Houston police officer Guy Gaddis. A last ditch effort by Tamayo’s attorney to keep the convicted cop killer alive failed Wednesday night when the U.S. Supreme Court denied a motion to stay his execution. Defense attorney’s claimed that Tamayo’s execution violated international law. However, at 9:32 p.m. CT, Edgar Tamayo Arias, was put to death for his crimes. But I guess Tamayo was doing the jobs that Americans were not willing to do. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Illegal Edgar Tamayo Arias Executed for Murder of Office Guy Gaddis
Texas executed a Mexican citizen late Wednesday despite objections from Mexico, a former Texas governor and U.S. Secretary of State John F. Kerry.
Edgar Tamayo Arias, 46, was put to death at 9:32 p.m. Central time for killing a Houston police officer in 1994, according to Jason Clark, a spokesman for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Tamayo made no last statement, Clark said.
Tamayo’s attorneys fought until the last minute to save his life, appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court for a stay of execution. It was denied. They argued that Tamayo had been deprived of his rights because, as a foreign citizen, he should have been informed of his right to diplomatic assistance under an international treaty known as the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.
Tamayo’s lawyers turned to the high court after the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals rejected their appeal that Tamayo was developmentally disabled, mentally ill and ineligible for execution.
KUDOS to Texas Gov. Rick Perry who said in the face of the liberal outrage of those who wanted to protect this cop killer, “the state was committed to enforcing its laws.” Let’s get a couple of things straight here in this case, rather than how the MSM is only discussing and focusing how this murderer was wronged. There is only one victim here and that is murdered police officer Guy Gaddis.
Mexican officials had petitioned the U.S. government on Tamayo’s behalf, including Foreign Secretary Jose Antonio Meade and Ambassador to the U.S. Eduardo Medina Mora.
Former Texas governor and attorney general Mark White, a Democrat, also backed a review of Tamayo’s case.
Kerry wrote to Texas officials last fall urging a reconsideration of Tamayo’s execution.
“I have no reason to doubt the facts of Mr. Tamayo’s conviction, and as a former prosecutor, I have no sympathy for anyone who would murder a police officer,” Kerry wrote. But he added that he was concerned the state’s handling of the case could affect the way Americans are treated overseas.
Justice finally for officer Guy Gaddis
Let’s take a look at the crime that so many wanted to go unpunished, including Sec. of State John Kerry, and have this murderers case reviewed. Even former President GWB needs to be called out on this one. 24 year old police officer Guy Gaddis was shot and killed by Tamayo. After having arrested Tamayo, he was handcuffed and put in the back seat of the police car. As officer Gaddis drove off, Tamayo drew a concealed weapon and shot officer Gaddis in the back of the head three times. What might be most pathetic is that we have a corrupt Mexican government who purposely could care less about their people and keeping them within their own borders. This corrupt government is going to tell us what to do when one of their people is in the US illegally and kills a police officer? ARE YOU KIDDING!!! What message would it send that if an illegal Mexican could come into the United States, kill a police officer and not be put to death?
Gaddis, 24, had been flagged down near a nightclub by a man who accused Tamayo of robbing him. The officer arrested Tamayo, handcuffed him and put him in the back seat of his patrol car. He was driving away when Tamayo drew a concealed pistol and shot Gaddis three times in the back of the head.
Fallen Officers Remembered: Guy Patrick Gaddis:
On Sunday night, January 30, 1994, Officer Gaddis reported for duty on the night shift at the Beechnut. He was assigned to ride a one-man unit, 17E23N. After running several report calls, Gaddis was flagged down in the 6700 block of Bissonnet by a citizen who reported that he had been robbed by two suspects at the Topaz Night Club. The officer reported this on-view complaint to the dispatcher and requested other units to check by with him at the Topaz, a known area trouble spot located at 6501 Chimney Rock. The reporting time was 2:21 a.m. now on the morning of Monday, January 31.
Three of Officer Gaddis’ fellow units, with a total of five officers on board, immediately responded to this request. The first officer to arrive observed Officer Gaddis to have two suspects against a wall, spread-eagled and undergoing a search. This officer also observed that Gaddis had apparently completed his search of what will now be referred to as the No. 2 suspect. This first responding officer took control of this suspect and immediately handcuffed him with his hands to the rear. While doing so, this officer observed Gaddis continue his search of the No. 1 suspect. In doing so, he discovered the robbery complainant’s watch. At this point, Officer Gaddis very likely ended his search of the No. 1 suspect prematurely, handcuffing his hands behind him.
Other officers were arrived and observed the end results of the arrest. They watched as Officer Gaddis and the first arriving officer placed both suspects in the rear of Gaddis’ patrol car. Suspect No. 1, later identified as Edgar Tamayo, was seated in the left rear seat while Suspect No. 2, Jesus Zarco Mendoza, was placed in the right rear seat.
These two suspects were in custody, handcuffed behind their back in the rear seat of a caged patrol car. While Gaddis transported them to the Southeast Command Station, the following is known:
Officer Gaddis drove southbound in the 8100 block of Chimney Rock. He drove through the City of Bellaire, just north of Chimney Rock and Holly. Then something went terribly awry in the back seat of the patrol car from behind the Plexiglas cage. While driving, Officer Gaddis was shot in the back of his head, causing his patrol car to veer to the left, out of control.
The unit crossed a residential yard on the northeast corner of this intersection, traveled further south across Holly and into the yard of a residence at 5229 Holly, striking the house at a high rate of speed and landing near the front door that faced north.
LifeFlight rushed Officer Gaddis to Hermann Hospital, with little hope for his survival. Doctors pronounced him dead at 4:31 a.m., January 31, 1994. He was only twenty-four years old, leaving his pregnant wife Rosa behind.
Besides his wife, the officer was survived his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Edwin (Gayle) Gaddis of Brookside Village; brother Glenn and his wife Angela of Houston; brother Gary and nephew Justyn Gaddis of Brookside; his aunt Patsy Reeves of Shreveport; Uncle Charles Gottlick and wife Maureen of Scotch Plains, New Jersey; aunt Bernadette Lopez and husband George and uncle Russell Gottlick and wife Joyce.

Nevada DMV Says 75% of Illegals Fail Test For Driver Authorization Card … Giving Undocumentated Aliens Documents, UNREAL!!!
What is wrong with the following statement, Illegals failing tests to receive legal drivers authorization cared.
According to the Nevada DMV, about 75% of illegal immigrants, undocumented aliens, people in the United States illegally, have failed the written test needed for a drivers authorization card offered to provide driving privileges to those individuals in the United States illegally. WHAT!!! So not only do we have states that are so misguided that they would provide “ILLEGALS” access to driving privileges that are supposed to be afforded to citizens of the United States, when they do … THE ILLEGALS FAIL. The DMS did not mention how many fail the driving exam. Hmm, I wounder why? Hundreds of illegals swamped DMV offices to get this card, forcing actual citizens of the United States to be turned away. Are the written exams in English or Spanish?
Why are we making it easier for illegals to be in the United States, rather than harder? How insane have we become? We have people that are in the country illegally, but giving them a document stating they can legally drive. Just another head-shaking moment.
They estimate 75 percent of applicants have failed the written test needed for the card under a new law that made the state the 11th nationally to offer driving privileges to people in the country illegally. The cards became available Thursday.
Applicants must correctly answer 80 percent of 50 questions to pass the test. They also are required to pass a driving exam to receive cards. The failure rate on the driving test was not immediately available.
“We’d much rather see people come in prepared than just come in to see if they will pass or not,” DMV spokesman Kevin Malone told KSNV-TV in Las Vegas. “You need to study the (driver’s) handbook, make sure you have all the documentation and then come on in.”
What is wrong with this country? A law passed by the 2013 Legislature and signed by Gov. Brian Sandoval allows immigrants in Nevada without citizenship status to obtain the driver privilege cards. An increasing number of states have been passing similar laws in recent years.
Just curious, if an illegal fails their driving exam does that prevent them from driving on American roads? I men after all, if you are in the country illegally, driving illegally would be a distant thought.

Actor and Martial Arts Expert Steven Seagal Considers a Run for Arizona Governor
Arizona Governor Steven Seagal?
Steven Seagal, the actor and martial arts expert says he is considering a run to be the governor of Arizona. Seagal said in an interview with ABC15 that the number one problem facing America today is open border. The 61 year old actor stated that because of the US open borders “any type of terrorism could come, and does come”. Seagal had a pretty much common sense and factual approach on his views of borders amnesty and the need to secure our borders. Seagal goes on to discuss his association with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and that when they arrest someone who commits a crime, they do not care whether they are Mexican, Irish, French, German or Chinese.
Seagal says he’s had discussions with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio about the prospective bid, but has other priorities to consider.
The 61-year-old Seagal made the comments while talking about his newly released reality series “Steven Seagal – Lawman: Maricopa County” (The Lost Episodes.)
According to Seagal, the number one problem facing the U.S. is its open borders.
He told ABC that the country’s leading problem today is open borders, ‘I don’t think our biggest problem is Islamist terrorism in America. Oh I don’t think that’s it at all,’ he said. ‘The biggest problem is open borders. I think that across these borders, any type of terrorism can occur.’
He believes that open borders are, ‘ a tremendous oversight by the current administration.’
He quoted Reagan who said, ‘If you don’t have security on your borders you don’t have a country.’
One other issue Seagal would address is that of amnesty.
‘You have to be very careful with blanket pardons,’ he said.If you’re gonna pardon people you should do a background on them to make sure they’re safe for society.’
Seagal also told ABC that all he and Arpaio care about on their tv show is ‘whether or not you’re a criminal.’
He says that he and the tough sheriff do not discriminate based on race or nationality.
Another ‘Fast and Furious’ Gun Turns Up at Mexico Shootout Scene … “Weapons from the Operation would Likely continue to turn up at Crime Scenes”
Remember this Barack Obama – Eric Holder scandal …
As Yogi Berra used to say,”It looks like it is deja vu all over again.” Another gun from the failed Obama/Holder ‘Fast & Furious’ gun-walking fiasco has turned up at a shootout between Mexican authorities and a Mexican drug cartel gunman. According to accounts, at least one AK-47 found at the scene could be tracked back to ‘Fast & Furious’. Isn’t this special, the ATF has acknowledged that more guns from this poorly conceived plan could continue to turn up at future crime scenes. Guns from this disastrous operation will be turning up for years to come, yet no one in the administration has yet been held accountable.
A gun from the failed U.S. operation known as “Fast and Furious” turned up at the scene of a shootout between Mexican authorities and alleged cartel gunmen last month, according to CNN.
U.S. officials told CNN at least one AK-47-style gun that could be traced back to the failed gun-walking scheme was found at the scene.
The ATF acknowledged that weapons from the operation would likely continue to turn up at crime scenes.
“ATF has accepted responsibility for the mistakes made in the Fast and Furious investigation and at the attorney general’s direction we have taken appropriate and decisive action to ensure that these errors will not be repeated,” the bureau said in a statement to CNN.
“And we acknowledge that, regrettably, firearms related to the Fast and Furious investigation will likely continue to be recovered at future crime scenes,” it added.
