Unbelievable, Ever Wonder Why Health Care Costs are Out of Control in US … Illegal Immigrant Gets Kidney
Unbelievable … this crap just does not end. What part about “ILLEGAL” does no one understand?
As those who are in the United States wait for their kidney transplants, Jorge Mariscal, an illegal immigrant is provided one ahead of legal tax paying US citizens. It appears that we now exist in a world with out borders and laws. Mariscal believes health care should be a human right, not a privilege. Thats interesting, I believe breaking the law should be a crime, not rewarded. However, just because the illegal has received a kidney, he is not out of the woods yet. Loyola agreed to cover the costs of the transplant, Mariscal will have to pay for the medicine. Please, I am sure Obamacare covers illegals as it takes health care services away from those who are actually in the country legally. Just a note to Jorge, rather then thinking you have a right and are entitled to a kidney, you should be pretty damn grateful instead.
As an illegal immigrant, Jorge Mariscal waited eight years for a kidney transplant he feared would never come.
His persistence paid off Thursday when he underwent the procedure at Loyola University Medical Center.
After years of uncertainties, Mariscal said he’s excited about his future and grateful for the help he received. But he remains frustrated with a health care system that he worries might leave out an untold number of illegal immigrants in need of lifesaving treatments.
“Why can’t we be treated the same?” he asked while sitting in his hospital room. “Health care should be a human right, not a privilege. At least give us the chance to fight for our lives with dignity.”
So this guy wants to be treated the same, huh? You know how you so that Jorge? Go back yo where ever you came from and apply for citizenship. If you wanted to be treated the same, you must be the same as the rest of us. Your problem is you wanted preferential and special treatment. This is just unreal. They know this guy is an illegal and he just gets to stay and be a burden on the tax payers. WTF!
Now that his surgery is behind him, he said he’s happy he stayed stateside.
“It feels great to have a second opportunity at life,” Mariscal said. “It’s an overwhelming feeling. I don’t think I would have been happy in Mexico.”

11 Year Old Leukemia Patient Emily Missing from Cancer Ward … Taken From Hospital by Mother in Arizona … Could be Headed to Mexico
Emily, an 11 year old Hispanic leukemia patient is missing from a cancer ward at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. Emily was brought to the hospital about a month ago by her parents to receive treatment for leukemia. She was scheduled to be released from the hospital the following day; however, her mother for unknown reasons removed her from the hospital early before Emily’s treatment was finished. Hospital surveillance video captured the mother taking of her daughter with an IV still attached. Emily’s mother is 35 years old, Hispanic, and goes by the name Norma. Her father is 46 years old, Hispanic, and goes by the name Luis.

Video shows the mother walking Emily from her room with an IV still attached. They’re then seen heading to the elevators and eventually a restroom, where her mother changed her clothes and removed the IV from a chest catheter placed into her heart, before walking her out of the hospital.
“If she does not have this catheter sealed correctly by medical staff, we understand it’s highly likely she could obtain an infection and ultimately die within a couple of days,” said Sgt. Steve Martos of Phoenix police.
Police say detectives have been working feverishly for the past two days, but are now turning to the public for help. An earlier infection caused Emily to lose an arm; police say now they’re worried about another infection with potentially grave consequences.
Authorities fear that Emily’s life could be in jeopardy due to her medical condition and the family could be headed to Mexico. Emily, had her arm previously amputated because of an infection and a chest catheter inserted into her heart.
Police believe the family left the hospital in a 1998 Ford mini-van, last seen with AZ license plate AVY3157. However, detectives say that license plate number is not registered to the van, so it’s possible it’s been removed.
Detectives believe the family has ties to California and Mexico. They put out alerts to agencies in California, as well as other hospitals in the area.

“Our concern right now is for that catheter to be medically removed. We understand that there is the possibility that the catheter could get an infection and thereby result in the death of this child really in the matter of days,” Sgt. Steve Martos told KNXV TV station Thursday night.
Authorities said that the mother had removed an IV drip from the catheter, changed Emily’s clothes and then walked the 11-year-old patient out of her ward at the hospital.

Zeta Drug Cartel’s Salvador Alfonso “Commander Squirrel” Martinez Escobedo, Suspect Arrested in the Falcon Lake Murder of David Hartley
Has the death of David Hartley finally been solved? David Hartley was reported murdered on September 30, 2010 when he and his wife, Tiffany Hartley, were jet skiing on Falcon Lake between the US and Mexican border. It is believed that they wondered into the middle of a drug trade. Tiffany escaped; however, David was reportedly shot and killed. His body has never been recovered.

Monday, Mexican authorities said they had arrested a leader of the ruthless Zetas drug cartel and linked him to the Falcon Lake killing. The arrest of Zeta drug cartel’s Salvador Alfonso “The Squirrel” Martinez Escobedo was arrested and is being called a suspect in the murder of David Hartley. The Squirrel is responsible or has had a hand in numerous murders. Mexican authorities also suspect Martinez is behind the 2010 slaying of 72 migrants in Tamaulipas.
Authorities accuse Martinez, known as “The Squirrel,” of being a regional leader of the Zetas in three northern Mexican states and heading up a brutal battle with the rival Gulf cartel. They had offered a reward of more than $1 million for information leading to his capture.
He was picked up in the Mexican border city of Nuevo Laredo on Saturday night and presented to the media on Monday. But one Texas sheriff says the 31-year-old alleged cartel leader wasn’t on a list of five suspect names in the Hartley case that he’s handed over to the FBI.
“Based on the information I have, he may have been the one responsible for that area, but not the one responsible for the actual killing,” said Sigifredo Gonzalez, sheriff of Zapata County, Texas.
But is Salvador Alfonso Martinez Escobedo responsible for David Hartley’s death? It is not quite sure how “Commander Squirrel” is connected to the murder of Hartley.

More from ABC News on the Mexican authority statement:
“Squirrel is credited with being the mastermind of the deaths of 72 undocumented migrants in San Fernando,” said the statement. “[He] is the alleged perpetrator of the narco graves found in Tamaulipas state, with more than 200 bodies and the execution of more than 50 people by his own hand in different parts of the republic, [as well as] the murder of David Hartley, an American citizen killed at Falcon Dam on September 30, 2010.”
The statement also alleged that the Squirrel was responsible for the murder of the police official investigating Hartley’s death.
