In an act of barbarism and cowardice, ISIS has headed yet another westerner, this time British aid worker Alan Henning. The murdering terrorist who executed Henning blamed the death on the United Kingdom for joining the United States led bombing campaign against the terror group ISIS. Henning was abducted the day after Christmas in 2013 by masked gunmen. He was part of a team of volunteers that traveled to Syria to deliver food and water to people affected by Syria’s civil war.  At the end of the VIDEO, an ISIS terrorist is seen threatening a man identified as an American aid worker Peter Kassig.

“Obama, you have started your aerial bombardment of Sham (Syria), which keeps on striking our people, so it is only right that we continue to strike the necks of your people,” the masked militant in the video said.

A short video released by ISIS on Friday shows the apparent beheading of British aid worker Alan Henning, with the executioner blaming the death on the United Kingdom for joining the U.S.-led bombing campaign against the group.

Before he is killed, Henning speaks to the camera, referencing the British Parliament’s decision to participate in coalition of more than 40 countries who have banded together to go after the so-called Islamic State terror group in Iraq and Syria.

At the end of the video, ISIS shows American aid worker Peter Kassig and threatens his life.

“The brutal murder of Alan Henning by ISIL shows just how barbaric and repulsive these terrorists are,” UK Prime Minister David Cameron said, referring to the group also known as ISIS.

ISIS threatens to kill American aid worker Peter Kassig next:

Kassig, a 26-year-old American now threatened by the Islamic State group, enlisted in the Army in 2004, and became a Ranger, ultimately serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment, an Army special operations unit.

According to his military record, Kassig trained at Fort Benning, Georgia in 2006, and deployed to Iraq from April to July 2007. He was medically discharged at the rank of private first class in September 2007. His home of record at the time of his enlistment was Indianapolis, Indiana.

His parents, Ed and Paula Kassig, issued a statement asking for the world to pray for their son.

“The Kassig family extends our concern for the family of Alan Henning. We have read about his work and his generous character with great respect and admiration,” the statement said. “We ask everyone around the world to pray for the Henning family, for our son, and for the release of all innocent people being held hostage in the Middle East and around the globe.”

His family said Kassig had been working for the relief organization he found, Special Emergency Response and Assistance, or SERA, when he was captured on Oct. 1, 2013, on his way to Deir Ezzour in eastern Syria. He converted to Islam while in captivity and the family has heard from former hostages that his faith has provided him comfort.

Henning, 47, nicknamed “Gadget,” had joined an aid convoy and was taken captive on Dec. 26, shortly after crossing the border between Turkey and Syria. Earlier this week, Henning’s wife Barbara Henning asked the militants in a televised plea: “Please release him. We need him back home.”

Final results showed Friday that the “no” side won an overwhelming advantage, with a 55 percent majority compared to 45 percent for the “yes” camp. Unionist leaders proclaimed that Scotland had clearly voted to remain part of the United Kingdom. Supporters erupted in raucous celebration.

A “no” vote breathes new life into a 307-year union that had appeared in grave danger of breaking apart. The unionist victory was quickly heralded by relieved British officials who had come perilously close to having to preside over a messy and humiliating divorce.

ISIS VIDEO Appears to Show Another Brutal Beheading … This Time It is British Hostage & Aid Worker David Haines (Update: British PM Condemns as “Act of Pure Evil”)

From Reuters comes the following … An ISIS VIDEO appears to show the latest execution, the beheading of  44 year old British hostage, David Haines. These savages need to be jdamed out of existence. David Haines was a British aid worker helping the French agency Acted deliver humanitarian aid and a father-of-two who was taken hostage in the village of Atmeh, in the Idlib province of Syria, in March 2013. This now makes the third Westerner that ISIS has beheaded, which previously included American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff.

The beheading occurred just a day after Haine’s family issued a plea to ISIS.  People need to understand, there is no dealing with this people. ISIS does not comprehend pleas, acts of mercy or anything human. They are brutal killers who can only be dealt with in one way ... annihilation!

Islamic State militants fighting in Iraq and Syria released a video on Saturday which purported to show the beheading of British aid worker David Haines.

Reuters could not immediately verify the footage. However, the images were consistent with that of the filmed executions of two American journalists, James Foley and Steven Sotloff, in the past month.

Haines, a 44-year-old father of two from Perth in Scotland, was kidnapped last year while working for the French agency ACTED.

The video entitled, “A Message to the Allies of America,” opened with UK Prime Minister David Cameron talking about working with the Iraqi government and allied Kurdish Peshmerga forces to defeat Islamic State.

“This British man has to pay the price for your promise, Cameron, to arm the Peshmerga against the Islamic State,” said a masked man dressed in black with a British accent, standing over Haines, who was shown kneeling and wearing an orange jumpsuit.

The video then showed the beheading of the kneeling man.

UPDATE I: Prior to beheading, Haines was forced to give a statement saying that British Prime Minister David Cameron is “entirely responsible for [his] execution.”

“You entered voluntarily into a coalition with the United States against the Islamic State [ISIS], just as your predecessor Tony Blair did, following a trend amongst British Prime Ministers who can’t find the courage to say no to the Americans,” Haines says.

In another section of the video, the would-be executioner says, “This British man has to pay the price for your promise, Cameron, to arm the peshmerga against the Islamic State.” The peshmerga are Kurdish forces who, along with Iraqi forces and heavy American air support, dealt ISIS a major blow by wresting from the terror group control of the Mosul Dam last month.

UPDATE II: BBC – British Prime Minister David Cameron Condemns the murder of David Haines.

The murder of David Haines was an “act of pure evil”, David Cameron has said after the release of a video purporting to show the UK hostage’s beheading.

The PM vowed to do “everything in our power to hunt down” the killers of the 44-year-old aid worker, from Perth, who was kidnapped last year in Syria.

Islamic State militants have already beheaded two Americans, saying it was in response to US airstrikes in Iraq.

The latest video also includes a threat to kill a second British hostage.

Mr Cameron said the murder of an innocent aid worker was “despicable and appalling”.

“It is an act of pure evil. My heart goes out to the family of David Haines who have shown extraordinary courage and fortitude throughout this ordeal.

A black-clad, masked militant holding a knife then says the execution is in retaliation for Britain’s decision to supply arms to Kurdish fighters battling ISIS in Iraq.

After the murder, another captive is shown and the executioner warns Cameron, “you will have the blood of your people on your hands,” if the U.K. continues to ally with the U.S. in its campaign against the group.

UPDATE V: The White House has just released a statement condemning the murder of David Haines and promise to “degrade and destroy” the terrorist group now known as ISIL.

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia Warned the West Will be the Next Target of ISIS Jihadists Unless there is “Rapid” Action

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia warns the West of ISIS stating, “If we ignore them, I am sure they will reach Europe in a month and America in another month.” King Abdullah warned that ISIS jihadists must be dealt with quickly, saying a lack of action would be “unacceptable” in the face of the terrorist phenomenon. Of course I would ask two question. One, what has King Abdullah and Saudi Arabia done to quell ISIS or terrorists and two, take rapid action, doesn’t King Abdullah realize that in Obama, he is talking to a ditherer?

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia has warned that the West will be the next target of the jihadists sweeping through Syria and Iraq, unless there is “rapid” action.

“If we ignore them, I am sure they will reach Europe in a month and America in another month,” he said in remarks quoted on Saturday by Asharq al-Awsat daily and Saudi-backed Al-Arabiya television station.

“Terrorism knows no border and its danger could affect several countries outside the Middle East,” said the king who was speaking at a welcoming ceremony on Friday for new ambassadors, including a new envoy from Saudi ally the United States.

The Islamic State (IS) jihadist group has prompted widespread concern as it advances in both Syria and Iraq, killing hundreds of people, including in gruesome beheadings and mass executions.

Lack of action would be “unacceptable” in the face of the phenomenon, King Abdullah said.

“You see how they (jihadists) carry out beheadings and make children show the severed heads in the street,” he said, condemning the “cruelty” of such acts.

“It is no secret to you, what they have done and what they have yet to do. I ask you to transmit this message to your leaders: ‘Fight terrorism with force, reason and (necessary) speed’.”

HEY AMERICA, TAKE A LOOK HOW A REAL LEADER REACTS TO A TERROR THREAT …

British Prime Minister conducted a press conference at 10 Downing Street to do what US President Barack Obama could not, be a leader and put into perspective the terror threat that ISIS poses to the UK and the world. PM David Cameron stated, that while the “Taliban facilitated al-Qaida terrorism, the Islamic State group is “effectively a state run by terrorists ”  and their ambition to create an Islamist caliphate is not something that could be ignored. Juxtapose that with Obama who underestimated ISIS as they “jayvee” and stated the other day that “we do not have a strategy” to deal with ISIS.

Britain raised the country’s terror threat level from substantial to severe just before Cameron held his news conference. The threat level means a terrorist attack is considered highly likely. Cameron warned that the return of hundreds of murderous extremists posed a greater threat to our security than Al Qaeda or the IRA ever did.  Cameron further went on to say that Islamist terrorists cannot be ‘appeased’ and need to be faced down. Where was Obama, at a fund raiser of course.

The UK government raised its terror threat level Friday from “substantial” to “severe,” the fourth highest of five levels, in response to events in Iraq and Syria, where ISIS militants have seized a large swath of territory.

“That means that a terrorist attack is highly likely, but there is no intelligence to suggest that an attack is imminent,” Home Secretary Theresa May said.

The “root cause” of Britain’s terror threat is “Islamist extremism,” Prime Minister David Cameron said. The execution of American journalist James Foley is clear evidence that ISIS’s fight in Iraq and Syria “is not some foreign conflict thousands of miles from home that we can hope to ignore,” according to the UK leader.

Just curious, when was the last time or any time that you would ever hear the following words out of Barack Obama’s mouth when it came to discussing American values, protecting American values and standing up for American values? During David Cameron’s speech he said the following:

Britain is an open, tolerant and free nation. We are a country that backs everyone community who want to work hard, make a contribution and build a life for themselves and their family. But we cannot stand by and allow our openness be confused with the tolerance of extremism. Or one that encourages different cultures to lead separate lives and allows people to behave in ways that run completely counter to British values. Adhering to British values is not an option or a choice, it is a duty of those who live in these islands. And in the end, it is only by standing up for these values that we will defeat this extremism, protect our way of life and keep our people safe.
