Terror suspects ID’d in Charlie Hebdo slaughter …
Three terrorist suspects have been ID’d in the shooting rampage in Paris, France as two police officers and 10 journalists at Charlie Hebdo were murdered. France’s prime minister, Manuel Valls, said the three Islamofascists suspects are brothers, 32 year old Cherif Kouachi, 34 year old Said Kouachi and 18 year old Mourad Hamyd. The brothers were known to intelligence services. It is currently unknown what the relationship of the 18 year old is to the two brothers. AFP reported that they had been spotted at a petrol station in northern France.

The younger of the two brothers being hunted by French authorities had already spent time in jail for links to terrorism.
Cherif Kouachi, a 32-year-old French citizen, was sentenced to three years in prison in 2008 for being part of a jihadist recruitment ring in Paris that sent fighters to join the conflict in Iraq.
He was arrested in January 2005, at the age of 22, when he and another man were about to set off for Syria, via which they planned to reach Iraq where war was raging.
Kouachi’s lawyer Vincent Ollivier said at the time that his client’s profile was more “pot-smoker from the projects than an Islamist.”
But at trial, Kouachi was described as coming under the influence of a radical Muslim preacher, Farid Benyettou, at the Addawa mosque in Paris’s 19th arrondissement.

Much less is known about the elder Kouachi brother, who doesn’t appear to have as high a profile as his younger sibling.
Said Kouachi is 34 and also a citizen of France, according to French authorities.
CNN affiliate BFMTV reported that police found an ID document of Said Kouachi during the investigation.
“It was their only mistake,” said Dominique Rizet, BFMTV’s police and justice consultant.
The photo of Said Kouachi released by police shows him with close cropped dark hair and a short beard on his chin. He’s wearing a gray top with a collar.
BFMTV reported that like his brother, he was born in Paris and was known to police.
The Liberation report suggested that at the time of Cherif Kouachi’s arrest in 2005, the two brothers were both staying in Paris with a French man who had converted to Islam.
Said Kouachi’s name came to the attention of police during the investigation into the 2010 prison-break plot, but there wasn’t enough evidence to keep investigating him, Le Monde reported.

UPDATE I: 18 year old Mourad Hamyd turns himself in and surrenders to police after learning his name was linked to the attacks in the news.
18-year-old Hamyd Mourad, has surrendered to authorities in France. The two other suspects, identified by French police as Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi, who brothers in their early 30s, are currently still at large.
The 18-year-old Mourad is believed to be the suspect who stayed on the street as the two older brothers committed the shooting in Charlie Hebdo’s offices, killing 12 people.

Islamist Terror Attack in Paris France …
Eleven people are dead and 5 in critical condition after a terrorist attack at the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. This is the same magazine that was fire-bombed in November 2011 a day after it carried a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad.The attack took place at 11.30 am local time as two black-hooded individuals entered the building with assault rifles and opened fire. The terror suspects who committed this heinous act are on the loose and a massive manhunt is underway.
This was not a lone wolf attack, this was an orchestrated terror attack on a media organization with a getaway plan. This was not a terrorist suicide attack looking to end up with 72 virgins. The training these men appear to have had is startling. Political correctness kills folks, get tough on terrorists or else.
Gunmen have attacked the Paris office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, killing 12 people and injuring seven in an apparent Islamist attack.
At least two masked attackers opened fire with assault rifles in the office and exchanged shots with police in the street outside before escaping by car.
The gunmen shouted “we have avenged the Prophet Muhammad”, witnesses say.
President Francois Hollande said there was no doubt it had been a terrorist attack “of exceptional barbarity”.
A major police operation is under way in the Paris area to catch the killers.

UPDATE I: 12 dead after gun attack at French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo.
Twelve people are confirmed dead, 10 from the Charlie Hebdo magazine and 2 police officers.
A huge manhunt is underway in Paris after at least 12 people were killed and seven others injured in a shooting at the offices of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
Police said two of those killed were police officers and that four of the wounded are in a critical condition.
Witness Benoit Bringer said the attack started at 11.30 am local time: “Two black-hooded men entered the building with Kalashnikovs (automatic assault rifles). A few minutes later we heard lots of shots.” He added the men were then seen fleeing the building.
Other reports spoke of three or four gunmen, who made off in a car which may have been hijacked, hitting a pedestrian as they drove.
President Francois Hollande called it “an act of barbarism”. He added: “This is a terrorist attack, there is no doubt about it.”
The government said it was raising France’s security level to the highest notch and the prime minister’s office confirmed extra security has been put in place at official buildings and media offices.

Hooded gunmen stormed the Paris offices of a weekly satirical magazine known for lampooning radical Islam, killing at least 12 people, including two police officers in the worst militant attack on French soil in recent decades.
One of the men was captured on video shouting “Allah!” as four shots rang out. Two assailants were then seen calmly leaving the scene.
In another clip on Television station iTELE, they are heard shouting: “We have killed Charlie Hebdo. We have avenged the Prophet Mohammad.”

13.56 Charlie Hebdo cartoonist has told a French newspaper of the moment he encountered the two attackers as they entered the office.
The gunmen apparently said: “We’re al-Qaeda”:

They wanted to come in, go up. I pressed in the code.

French Hostage Hervé Gourdel Beheaded in Algeria by Islamic Jihadists Linked to ISIS
Another beheading from ISIS, this time is is Jund al-Khilafa who posted a video of French hostage Herve Gourdel being killed that was entitled “Message of blood for the French government”. The group calling itself Jund al-Khilafah, Soldiers of the Caliphate, released a video that appeared to depict the beheading of 55 year old Hervé Gourdel, a mountain guide from Nice, France who had only arrived in Algeria the previous day. TheIslamic terrorists said that the murder of Herve Gourde was a response to his government’s action against Isis in Iraq, where France launched its first air strikes last Friday.
ISIS has now beheaded individuals from the United States (James Foley and Steven Sotloff) , Great Britain (David Haines) and now France.
France has confirmed that an Algerian jihadist group linked to Islamic State (IS) militants has beheaded tourist Herve Gourdel, seized on Sunday.
Jund al-Khilafa killed Mr Gourdel, 55, after its deadline for France to halt air strikes on IS in Iraq ran out.
French President Francois Hollande condemned the killing as a “cruel and cowardly” act.
He said that French air strikes which began on IS targets in Iraq last week would continue.
Speaking at the UN general assembly, Mr Hollande said that Mr Gourdel’s abduction and decapitation was a barbaric act of terrorism which presented a problem not only for the region but also for the world.
He said the fight against terrorism should know no borders and that France was now in mourning.
“It is not weakness that should be the response to terrorism but force,” he said.
French tourist beheaded in Algeria by jihadis linked to Islamic State
The video shows Gourdel kneeling, with his arms tied behind his back, in front of four masked militants who read out a statement in Arabic criticising France’s military intervention. They then pushed him on his side and held him down.
The beheading is not shown, but one militant holds his severed head up to the camera. “This is why the Soldiers of the Caliphate in Algeria have decided to punish France, by executing this man, and to defend our beloved Islamic State,” one of the militants said in the video.
Gourdel briefly addressed his family before the militants gave their statement.
The release of the beheading video could have been timed to coincide with Barack Obama’s address to the General Assembly on Wednesday in which the US president urged the world to come together to defeat a jihadist “network of death” in Iraq and Syria.

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia warns the West of ISIS stating, “If we ignore them, I am sure they will reach Europe in a month and America in another month.” King Abdullah warned that ISIS jihadists must be dealt with quickly, saying a lack of action would be “unacceptable” in the face of the terrorist phenomenon. Of course I would ask two question. One, what has King Abdullah and Saudi Arabia done to quell ISIS or terrorists and two, take rapid action, doesn’t King Abdullah realize that in Obama, he is talking to a ditherer?
King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia has warned that the West will be the next target of the jihadists sweeping through Syria and Iraq, unless there is “rapid” action.
“If we ignore them, I am sure they will reach Europe in a month and America in another month,” he said in remarks quoted on Saturday by Asharq al-Awsat daily and Saudi-backed Al-Arabiya television station.
“Terrorism knows no border and its danger could affect several countries outside the Middle East,” said the king who was speaking at a welcoming ceremony on Friday for new ambassadors, including a new envoy from Saudi ally the United States.
The Islamic State (IS) jihadist group has prompted widespread concern as it advances in both Syria and Iraq, killing hundreds of people, including in gruesome beheadings and mass executions.
Lack of action would be “unacceptable” in the face of the phenomenon, King Abdullah said.
“You see how they (jihadists) carry out beheadings and make children show the severed heads in the street,” he said, condemning the “cruelty” of such acts.
“It is no secret to you, what they have done and what they have yet to do. I ask you to transmit this message to your leaders: ‘Fight terrorism with force, reason and (necessary) speed’.”

On June 6, 1944, the D-Day invasion began as Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy, France that would serve to turn forever World War II. Allied forces landed on Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword beaches. So many soldiers lost their lives on that “Longest Day”. The Normandy landings, codenamed Operation Neptune, was the largest seaborne invasion in history as Allied forces invaded Normandy in Operation Overlord in a counter-offensive against German-occupied western Europe. The Greatest Generation gave their lives for freedom on D-DAY. We honor those that fell and those that lived and took the beaches. These are true heroes, do not ever forget the sacrifices these men made on the beaches of Normandy. God Bless The Greatest Generation and Thank you!
On June 6, 1944, more than 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline, to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France. Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower called the operation a crusade in which, “we will accept nothing less than full victory.” More than 5,000 Ships and 13,000 aircraft supported the D-Day invasion, and by day’s end, the Allies gained a foot-hold in Continental Europe. The cost in lives on D-Day was high. More than 9,000 Allied Soldiers were killed or wounded, but their sacrifice allowed more than 100,000 Soldiers to begin the slow, hard slog across Europe, to defeat Adolf Hitler’s crack troops.
