GUNS ACROSS AMERICA … NASHVILLE, TN

Today at the state capital in Nashville, TN close to 1,000 people have gathered on the Legislative Plaza across from the Capitol building in to show their support for 2nd Amendment US Constitution gun rights. The “Guns Across America” rallies were being held in state capitols across the United States as gun advocates and supporters of the 2nd Amendment used their First Amendment rights to voice their outrage over President Barack Obama’s imperial actions by passing 23 executive orders pertaining to gun control. From Albany, New York to Austin,TX and from Madison, WI to Little Rock, AR, gun supporters made their voices heard that the answer to gun violence was not to take away an individuals right to bear arms and protect themselves. Many supporters in the crowd carried signs in support of their Constitutional rights to bear arms and waived United States and “Don’t Tread on Me” flags.

The speakers today in Nashville, TN spoke as one stating that the answer to gun violence was not to blame the guns, but blame the criminals who committed the crimes. How are free, law abiding Americans supposed to protect themselves if guns are taken away from them? Forget the fact that it is our God given right to bear arms.

One of the speakers today was Republican State Rep. Joe Carr of Lascassas who told the roaring 2nd Amendment crowd that “any assault on the Second Amendment is an attack on any amendment.” He also discussed his legislation that would make it a crime for … Carr has introduced a bill, H.B. 0042, that would slap federal officials with a misdemeanor charge for enforcing the new proposals.

This bill prohibits any public employee, public official, or firearms dealer from enforcing or attempting to enforce any federal law, statute, rule, regulation, or executive order implemented or executed on or after January 1, 2013, within the borders of Tennessee if the law, statute, rule, regulation, or executive order attempts to:

(1) Ban or restrict ownership of a semi automatic firearm, firearm accessory, or ammunition; or  (2) Require any firearm, firearm accessory, or ammunition to be registered in any manner.

Under this bill, any federal agent or employee enforces or attempts to enforce any federal law, statute, rule, regulation, or executive order as described in (1) and (2) upon a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is owned or manufactured commercially or privately in this state and that remains exclusively within the borders of this state will be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to 11 months and 29 days incarceration and a fine of up to $2,500.

This bill requires the attorney general to defend a citizen of Tennessee who is prosecuted by the federal government for a violation of federal law, statute, rule, regulation, or executive order as described in (1) and (2).

UPDATE I: From the Daily Mail, Thousands of armed protestors gather at state capitols in pro-assault rifle rallies across the country.

Thousands of gun advocates gathered peacefully Saturday at state capitals around the U.S. to rally against stricter limits on firearms, with demonstrators carrying rifles and pistols in some places while those elsewhere settled for waving hand-scrawled signs or screaming themselves hoarse.

The size of crowds at each location varied – from dozens of people in South Dakota to 2,000 in New York. Large crowds also turned out in Connecticut, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Washington state.

Some demonstrators in Olympia, Wash., Phoenix, Salem, Ore., and Salt Lake City came with holstered handguns or rifles on their backs. At the Kentucky Capitol in Frankfort, attendees gave a special round of applause for ‘the ladies that are packin’.

Barack Obama Unveils $500 Million Gun Violence Package Including Putting 1,000 Police Officers in Schools … I Thought the LEFT Scoffed at Police in Schools Suggested by the NRA?

TALK ABOUT LOST IN SMALLNESS … OBAMA UNVEILS $500 Million GUN VIOLENCE PACKAGE AND PLANS TO PUT 1000 POLICE OFFICERS IN SCHOOLS.

Today President Barack Obama unveiled a $500 million gun violence plan that included plans to put 1000 police officers in schools. Ok, three things come to mind here that are quite telling and somewhat interesting with regards to Obama’s anti-2nd Amendment agenda in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shootings. He also proposed his 23 executive orders that in retrospect looked rather weak and lame.

500 million dollars!!!

One, $500 million, that’s it? Barack Obama throws billions around like its water. Obama gave failed green energy companies Solyndra $535 million, Fisker Automotive $529 million, Abound Solar $400 million, Willard and Kelsey Solar Group $700,981, let alone the rest of the green energy boondoggle failures. Yet, when it comes to the safety of the children Obama can only muster a measly $500 million. WOW, how big of him. The above referenced failed companies were provided over $2 billion of tax payer dollars, yet he comes up with $500 million for the children’s safety. NICE!

Two, 1000 police officers? That’s it? How small can this president be? As of 2010,  from the National Center for Educational Statistics there were a reported approximate 98,000 schools in the United States of which 67,000 were elementary schools. To put this in its proper perspective, 1000 police officers represents 1% of all schools and 1.5% of elementary schools. Really Mr. President, that’s your plan to keep the children safe from gun violence like what occurred at Sandy Hook, placing police in 1% of schools in America?  “We the People” can you understand now why I say that Obama is not serious at all?

Three, how is it that Obama is putting any police officers in schools after NBC’s David Gregory and the collective LEFT mocked the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre for proposing that armed guards be at every school in America. The LEFT lost their collective minds when this was suggested, yet Obama considered it, well kinda. So instead Obama split the difference and suggested putting police officers in 1% of the schools. Meanwhile his children are well protected by armed men with guns. No one is saying that Obama’s children should not be protected, of course they should. However, they are no more important than other American parents children. How is it that “We the People’s” children are not deemed worthy of protection as well?

Braced for a fight, President Barack Obama on Wednesday unveiled the most sweeping proposals for curbing gun violence in two decades, pressing a reluctant Congress to pass universal background checks and bans on military-style assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines like the ones used in the Newtown, Conn., school shooting.

But the president, speaking at White House ceremony, focused his attention on the divided Congress, saying only lawmakers could enact the most effective measures for preventing more mass shootings.

“To make a real and lasting difference, Congress must act,” Obama said. “And Congress must act soon.”

The president vowed to use “whatever weight this office holds” to press lawmakers into action on his $500 million plan. He is also calling for improvements in school safety, including putting 1,000 police officers in schools and bolstering mental health care by training more health professionals to deal with young people who may be at risk.

Even supportive lawmakers say the president’s gun control proposals – most of which are opposed by the powerful National Rifle Association – face long odds on Capitol Hill.

Barack Obama White House Readies 19 Executive Actions on Gun Controls … The 2nd Amemendment & Constitution is about to be Assaulted

AMERICAN, DID YOU THINK THE PRESIDENT WHO CARES LITTLE OF THE US CONSTITUTION WAS JOKING … According to the Politico,The Obama Administration is readying 19 executive actions on gun control. Obama. Biden and Democrats say the hell with the US Constitution, the 2nd Amendment, the Congress and separation of powers. America, you reelected an “Imperial” president and sadly that is now what we have. The fact that Obama wants to bypass Congress on the debate of this issue and act as a dictator should be chilling. Under the guise of protecting individuals from guns, Obama is coming after the guns in a manner that will do nothing to stop gun violence. This is about gun control and weakening the 2nd Amendment, not stopping gun violence.

The White House has identified 19 executive actions for President Barack Obama to move unilaterally on gun control, Vice President Joe Biden told a group of House Democrats on Monday, the administration’s first definitive statements about its response to last month’s mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Later this week, Obama will formally announce his proposals to reduce gun violence, which are expected to include renewal of the assault weapons ban, universal background checks and prohibition of high-capacity magazine clips. But Biden, who has been leading Obama’s task force on the response, spent two hours briefing a small group of sympathetic House Democrats on the road ahead in the latest White House outreach to invested groups. The focus on executive orders is the result of the White House and other Democrats acknowledging the political difficulty of enacting any new gun legislation, a topic Biden did not address in Monday’s meeting.

America, there is a reason why Our Founders set up a separation of powers for the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government. There is a reason why the Founders developed a “Bill of Rights” for “We the People” to protect us from a future tyrannical government.

UPDATE I: Texas Republican Rep. Steve Stockman threatened President Barack Obama that he would file articles of impeachment against Obama if he institutes gun control measures with an executive order.

Stockman warned that such executive orders would be “unconstitutional” and “infringe on our constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms.” (RELATED: Levin: If Obama sidesteps Congress on debt ceiling, ‘no choice’ but impeachment)

“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment,” Stockman said in a statement.

Good Grief … This is What TV Has Come To … “All My Baby’s Mamas” Starring Rapper Shawty Lo and Ten of His Baby’s Mamas

NOW THIS DESERVES AN APOLOGY AND AN IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION!!!

WTF … Suddenly the reality show Honey Boo Boo is looking like Emmy Award winning TV ... So this is what passes as TV today, is there any wonder why there is such an issue in minority communities with families without fathers. Oprah’s Oxygen channel actually wants to air the following reality TV show … ‘All My Baby’s Mamas’. UNREAL!!! How responsible of you Oprah. The poor excuse for a TV show is supposed to air this Spring and stars rapper Shardy Low and the ten women who had eleven of his babies. Yup, that’s the premise that Oprah and the O2 channel wants to glorify and exploit for money.

A new low in TV, this might actually be beneath low. What are these people thinking? Who finds this entertaining? Sorry, but this is not something to be glorified, it is an epidemic with black America. But no, the Oxygen channel looks to exploit a blight in the American-American community of “Baby Daddies” and “Babby Mamas” Who cares whether rapper Shardy Low is providing for all of his baby mamas and their out of wedlock kids, 99% of those minorities are not!

Critics say reality television has hit a new low. And that’s saying something.

The cable TV channel Oxygen is developing a one-hour special called, “All My Babies’ Mamas,” which follows the life of Carlos Walker, a.k.a. rapper Shawty Lo, his 11 children and their 10 mothers in Atlanta.

A 13-minute “sizzle” reel is making the rounds online. When Sabrina Lamb saw the preview of the show, she said her blood curdled.

“I was horrified, it was as if someone slapped me across the face,” Lamb told Here & Now’s Robin Young.

Below is the release by the Oxygen Medial as to what they look to exploit with this ridiculous piece of garbage programming. Is this how far our country has fallen?

Check out the victimization of Rapper Shawty Lo … he didn’t ask for 11 children with 10 different woman  it just happened.  Way to go Oxygen, glorifying an admitted drug dealer and his alley cat morals.

“You can hate all you want to, I didn’t ask for it. It just happened. Now that it happened, I’m supposed to turn my back against it?” Shawty Lo told MTV News about his 11 children and untraditional family structure. “If I wasn’t taking care of my kids then you would really dog me out, but I’m taking care of my kids, providing for my family. I don’t know what else to say.”

Growing up, the ATL trap rapper faced many hardships. His mother was hooked on drugs, his dad wasn’t around and his grandmother who raised him died from cancer by the time he turned 17. Having to fend for himself, Shawty Lo turned to the streets to make ends meet.

“I came to be one of the largest drug dealers to come from Atlanta, Bankhead area and I started havin’ kids. When the money came, a lot of women came,” he said, estimating he was a millionaire by the time he turned 21. “Once you feel like a girl was your girlfriend or whatever, the rubber probably came off,” he said candidly. “They wouldn’t have an abortion. They used to take the money and run with it, and they’d have a baby by the most popular guy in the street, and that’s how I had all them kids.”

HERO FEMALE GUN OWNER PROTECTS FAMILY AGAINST DIRT BAG CRIMINAL. Just curious America … what would have happened if Barack Obama and Democrats had taken this woman’s gun and 2nd Amendment Rights away?

A 37 year old Georgia mom hid her two 9 year old twins in a closet and shot an intruder, Paul Ali Slater, six times during a home invasion. The mom and her children hid in the closet and when the intruder opened the door, she opened fire and hit the useless piece of waste with 5 shots to his face and neck area. The intruder attempted to flee the scene in his car.; however, he crashed into a wooded area and collapsed in a neighbor’s driveway. He was arrested at the scene.

A Georgia mother hid her two 9-year-old twins and shot an intruder, Paul Ali Slater, several times during a home invasion on Friday, according to multiple media reports.

The Loganville mother said she didn’t initially answer when someone knocked on her door around 1 p.m. Friday. When the visitor began repeatedly ringing the doorbell, she called her husband at work, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

He then dialed 911 and his 37-year-old wife gathered their 9-year-old twins and hid them in a crawlspace inside the home.

According to the report, the intruder then forced his way into the home and started “rummaging” through the family’s belongings.

When the suspect went into the closet where the family was hiding ,the woman fired six bullets at the suspect, five of which hit alleged suspect Paul Ali Slater in the face and neck area.

BRAVO TO THIS PISTOL PACKING MOM!!! Watch the video link above and you will need to hear nothing more when it comes to why Americans have a right to bear arms. God only knows what would have happened if this woman and her children had to wait until police arrived. But Barack Obama and Democrats do not care. While the fiscal cliff has dominated Washington’s attention in recent weeks, lawmakers and activists are laying the groundwork for their big push. Vice President Joe Biden, tasked with heading a commission to investigate gun violence, has been quietly meeting with experts, interest groups, and public officials and is expected to release a set of recommendations within weeks. Boston mayor Thomas Menino, co-chair of Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns, told the Boston Herald this week that an optimistic Biden had assured him that Obama would sign legislation “by the end of January.”
