The State Department Issues Travel Alert to U.S. Citizens Due to Increased Terrorist Threats During Busiest Travel Time
U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT ISSUES TRAVEL WARNING DUE TO INCREASED TERROR THREATS … OBAMA’S NEW TERROR PLAN, BE AFRAID.
Ahead of the busiest travel season for Americans, the U.S. State Department has issued a travel alert for U.S. citizens to possible risks of travel due to increased terrorist threats. Although the State Department claims there has been no credible intelligence regarding a specific threat, they are still putting forth the warning. So what do they really know that they are not telling us? The Daily Caller makes an interesting point, Travel alerts are not uncommon for the State Department as they routinely issue warnings for Americans traveling abroad to various hotspots to on guard or consider canceling their plans altogether. However, in light of recent events, the State Department has taken the unusual step of issuing a “Worldwide Travel Alert.”
So be safe in your travels both home and abroad and of course there is no such thing as radical Islam tied to terrorism.
State Department’s travel website.
The State Department alerts U.S. citizens to possible risks of travel due to increased terrorist threats. Current information suggests that ISIL (aka Da’esh), al-Qa’ida, Boko Haram, and other terrorist groups continue to plan terrorist attacks in multiple regions. These attacks may employ a wide variety of tactics, using conventional and non-conventional weapons and targeting both official and private interests. This Travel Alert expires on February 24, 2016.
Authorities believe the likelihood of terror attacks will continue as members of ISIL/Da’esh return from Syria and Iraq. Additionally, there is a continuing threat from unaffiliated persons planning attacks inspired by major terrorist organizations but conducted on an individual basis. Extremists have targeted large sporting events, theatres, open markets, and aviation services. In the past year, there have been multiple attacks in France, Nigeria, Denmark, Turkey, and Mali. ISIL/Da’esh has claimed responsibility for the bombing of a Russian airliner in Egypt.
U.S. citizens should exercise vigilance when in public places or using transportation. Be aware of immediate surroundings and avoid large crowds or crowed places. Exercise particular caution during the holiday season and at holiday festivals or events. U.S. citizens should monitor media and local information sources and factor updated information into personal travel plans and activities. Persons with specific safety concerns should contact local law enforcement authorities who are responsible for the safety and security of all visitors to their host country.

Americans Completely Distrust Their Government … 19% Say They Trust the Government Always or Most of the Time
DOES ANYONE WONDER WHY ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATES ARE DOING SO WELL?
According to a recent Pew Center poll, just 19% say they can trust the government always or most of the time, among the lowest levels in the past half-century. I would actually question who those 19% are that think they can trust the government that much in this day and age. What is sad and has become a commonplace view by many Americans is that most Americans fell that elected officials put their own ambitions and power ahead of the country. Currently, Republicans are nearly three times as likely as Democrats (12%) to say they are angry with the government. Of course that is the case because Democrats follow Obama in lockstep and the Republican voters are upset that they have a bunch of gutless elected House and Senate members who made promises to get elected and once in power have done nothing but make excuses.
A year ahead of the presidential election, the American public is deeply cynical about government, politics and the nation’s elected leaders in a way that has become quite familiar.
Currently, just 19% say they can trust the government always or most of the time, among the lowest levels in the past half-century. Only 20% would describe government programs as being well-run. And elected officials are held in such low regard that 55% of the public says “ordinary Americans” would do a better job of solving national problems.
Currently, 22% say they are “angry” at the federal government; 57% are “frustrated,” and 18% say they are “basically content.” These sentiments have changed little over the past year, but two years ago – during the partial government shutdown – a record 30% expressed anger at government.
The share of Republicans and Republican leaners saying they are angry with the government is not as high as in October 2013 (32% now, 38% then). Nonetheless, Republicans are nearly three times as likely as Democrats (12%) to say they are angry with the government. And among politically engaged Republicans and Democrats – those who vote frequently and follow politics on a regular basis – the gap is nearly four-to-one (42% to 11%).
Among both Democrats and Republicans, large majorities say they can seldom, if ever, trust the federal government (89% of Republicans, 72% of Democrats). While trust in government among Republicans has varied widely depending on whether a Republican or Democrat is in the White House, Democrats’ views have shown far less change.
Remember America, this is your government and you elected them. Vote them out if you are so dissatisfied. Obviously, a Democrat or Republican is not going to vote for the other parties candidate, but you can toss the establishment candidates of both parties out on their collective ears in the primaries.

Rasmussen Reports: Voters Say to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Democrats … Yes, We Are at War with Radical Islam
BARACK OBAMA, HILLARY CLINTON AND DEMOCRATS ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE TERRORISM ISSUE WITH WE THE PEOPLE …
It would appear that “We the People” are fed up with Obama, Clinton and Democrats telling them that they are racists, bigots and Islamophobes when it comes to the war on terror against radical Islam. According to a recent Rasmussen Report poll, 60% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the United States is at war with radical Islamic terrorism and just 24% share the president’s position and disagree. This is rather interesting heading into a presidential election in 2016 as Obama and Democrats refuse to use the term “radical Islam” for fear of hurting the feelings of Muslims. But as BPR opines, its not just Republicans voters who feel this way, 56% of Democrats believe America is at war with radical Islamic terrorism and 54% of voters not affiliated with either major party.
ISIS and terrorism under Obama isn’t going away any time soon as Barack Obama refuses to take the issue seriously which means that this will be a huge campaign issue in 2016 and the Democrats are not even close to being on the right side of the issue with the American people.

President Obama, Hillary Clinton and other senior Democrats refuse to say America is at war with “radical Islamic terrorism” for fear of insulting all Muslims, but voters beg to disagree.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 60% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the United States is at war with radical Islamic terrorism. Just 24% share the president’s position and disagree. Sixteen percent (16%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Even 56% of Democrats believe America is at war with radical Islamic terrorism, a view shared by 70% of Republicans and 54% of voters not affiliated with either major party.
A staggering 92% of all voters now regard radical Islamic terrorism as a serious threat to the United States. This includes 73% who say it is a Very Serious one, up 23 points from 50% in October of last year.
Voters are also more reluctant now to agree with Obama that the radical Islamic State group (ISIS) which masterminded the massacres in Paris last weekend is not a reflection of Islam itself. A plurality (46%) still thinks the president is right when he says ISIS does not represent true Islamic beliefs. But that’s down noticeably from 58% who felt that way in February after the president gave a speech equating the atrocities committed by ISIS with past sins of Christianity. Thirty-five percent (35%) now believe ISIS does represent Islamic beliefs. One-in-five voters (19%) are not sure.

The House Votes to Halt Current Syrian Resettlement Program, Passing 289-137, Including 47 Democrats
SO MUCH FOR OBAMA SAYING THAT THE SYRIAN RESETTLEMENT PROGRAM IS JUST GOP POLITICS …
On Thursday, the House of Representatives voted 289-137 in favor of passing new criteria and background checks for refugees from Syria. The bill would suspend the program allowing Syrian and Iraqi refugees into the U.S. until key national security agencies certify they don’t pose a security risk. The Bill passed overwhelmingly and would appear to be veto-proof as 47 Democrats voted for the bill, HR 4038. The LIBS must be losing their collective minds that 47 Democrats voted in favor of their conscience, rather than blindly following the Obamamessiah.
Barack Obama is on the wrong side of this issue with the American people and it appears that he is more intent on getting his way than protecting the American people as he has threatened to veto this bill to use common sense approach to protect Americans and Obama’s own law enforcement top officials has come to the House and testified that there were gaps in the current refugee program.
Lawmakers in the U.S. House voted Thursday to essentially halt a program aimed at resettling thousands of Syrian refugees fleeing their war-torn homeland — a move that could potentially complicate President Obama’s Middle East policy efforts.
Later Thursday, the State Department said it was willing to “work” with Congress on changes to the Visa waiver program that helps bring nearly 20 million people from 38 countries to the U.S. ever year with less stringent screening.
“In light of the Paris attacks, we are certainly mindful that there are certain members of Congress that want to take another look at this,” State spokesman John Kirby. “We’re aware of some potential legislation coming. We’re going to continue to work with members of Congress on that, and any other concern they have.”
The House vote on the Syrian resettlement program, passing 289-137, reflects shifting sentiment on an issue where emotions have run deep in the aftermath of a deadly terror in Paris last week which left 129 dead. The House bill would require the FBI to create a background check of any refugee who spent time in Syria or Iraq after March 1, 2011.
The bill has a veto proof majority and 47 Democrats joined Republicans in voting against the measure. It is unclear if the Senate will take up the measure after they return from Thanksgiving recess.
“It’s a security test, not a religious test. This reflects our values. This reflects our responsibilities. And this is urgent,” Speaker Paul Ryan told reporters at his press conference on Thursday prior to the vote..
H.R. 4038: American SAFE Act of 2015:
This was a vote to pass H.R. 4038 in the House.
A bill that would expand background checks on Iraqi and Syrian refugees hoping to enter the United States has moved quickly through congressional procedures. H.R. 4038, the American Security Against Foreign Enemies SAFE Act, received a House vote on November 19, just two days after it was introduced. The vote succeeded 289-137 with almost all Republicans and 47 Democrats voting in favor. The President has said he would veto the bill if it also passes the Senate.
Millions of refugees from Syria and Iraq have been forced out of their homes as a result of the ongoing civil war in Syria and militarization by the Islamic State (ISIS). Many of these refugees hope to find sanctuary in the United States and European countries. Under existing law, the United States vets refugees for one-and-a-half to two years prior to allowing refugees to enter the country. If enacted, this bill would likely pause the screening process for a short time, while new background check procedures are developed, and then lengthen the time the screening process takes.
H.R. 4038 would expand the screening process for those refugees attempting to enter the United States by requiring the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to conduct its own background checks in addition to the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS). Any refugee would be prohibited from entry until the FBI certifies that they pose no security threat. Refugees would only be admitted with the unanimous agreement of the FBI, DHS, and Director of National Intelligence.

American Student Nohemi Gonzalez from California State University – Long Beach Identified as Victim in Paris Islamic Terrorist Massacre
FIRST AMERICAN IDENTIFIED AMONG THE 129 CONFIRMED DEAD FROM THE ISLAMIST TERROR ATTACKS IN PARIS, FRANCE …
23 year old Nohemi Gonzalez, a senior design major at California State University-Long Beach, who was studying abroad at the Strate College of Design in Sèvres, France is among the 129 individuals who were killed by Islamofascist terrorist in Paris, France. Nohemi Gonzalez, known to her friends as Mimi, was an innocent young woman with her whole future ahead of her. That was until the evil of radical Islam took it from her and countless other innocent victims.
Sorry folks but enough of the political correctness, what other religion in present day society do we have to worry about killing innocents who are just eating in a restaurant, at a club or a soccer game? Enough is enough.
A college student from California is the first American fatality identified in the Paris terror attacks.
Nohemi Gonzalez, 23, a senior design major at California State University-Long Beach spending a semester studying at Strate College of Design in Sèvres, France, was killed at one of the restaurants struck by terrorists Friday night.
“She was a great girl, one of the best,” her aunt, Sandra Felt, told NBC News. “She planned her whole trip to Paris — always a go-getter, very organized person. She worked to save money for her trip.”
Felt said the family called Gonzalez by the nickname “Mimi,” and said that “everything was working out” for the woman who always dreamed of learning French and studying in Paris.
