12 Years Later … September 11, 2001, Have You Forgotten? We Will Always Remember Those We Lost, The Heroes and the Evil that Attacked Us

12 years later, in some ways it feels just like 12 hours ago and sometimes just 12 minutes ago. God Bless those who lost their lives that terrible day and a special prayer to the families of those who lost so very much and have overcome.

Have you forgotten that fateful September morning? In many ways it seems that many have. That is until we are attacked again, like in Benghazi, Libya last September 11, 2012. A terror attacked passed off as being blamed on a anti- Islamic video tape by our government and one year later “We the People” have no answers or individuals in custody. But today is meant to honor the memories of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and the heroes that inspired a nation. It has been 12 years to the day of that fateful September morning in 2001 where in an instant our lives and world changed forever. Nearly 3000 people lost their lives in NYC at the World Trade Center, in Washington, DC as flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon and in a field in Shanksville, PA where heroes aboard Flight 93 took matters into their hands and said “NO to terrorism”. DO YOU REMEMBER?

We saw pure evil and we saw the best of people. The heroism of those who responded to the terrible terrorist and cowardice acts will never be forgotten as well. Fireman, police, paramedics and first responders running into buildings to help their fellow man, perishing in their efforts. Folks, do not ever forget that feeling you had that day. Do not ever get complacent, do not ever let political correctness make you feel guilty for your actual feelings. For if we forget history and what took place, we are destine to repeat it.

Sorry, love him or hate him, we all owe President George W. Bush for his leadership in the aftermath of 9-11. This is what presidential leadership looks like and thank God we had him to help a nation through the pain and anguish in the days, months and years after. Below is GWB’s iconic bullhorn speech in NYC at Ground Hero … “I can hear you …”

Benghazi Whistleblower Gregory Hicks, the Former Deputy Chief of Mission in Libya Says I’ve Been ‘Punished’ for Speaking Out

As reported at NRO, Benghazi whistleblower Gregory Hicks, the former Deputy Chief of mission in Libya stated on ABC’s ‘This Week’ that he has been punished for speaking out about the Obama administrations response, or lack there of, to the night that terrorists attacked the Bengahzi consulate killing four Americans. Gregory Hicks had previously testified in front of Congress that “he was embarrassed” after Susan Rice appeared on the Sunday talk shows blaming the terror attack on a video.  Hicks stated in his interview with ‘This Week’ that “I don’t know why I was shunted aside, put in a closet if you will,” but the American people needed to know what took place that night and need to remember those that were killed, including U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone S. Woods.

Gregory Hicks, the former deputy chief of mission in Libya who testified before Congress about the 9/11 attacks on an American diplomatic facility earlier this year, believes he has been “punished” for speaking out about the Obama administration’s response the night of the attack. He said he believes at least two of the Americans lost that night could have been saved if the United States had responded in time.

“I don’t know why I was punished,” Hicks said in an interview with ABC’s This Week. “I don’t know why I was shunted aside, put in a closet if you will.”

Gee, does anyone really wonder why Hicks is being punished for daring to speak the truth about Benghazi and question the actions of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton? No one can speak ill of Obama or face the consequences. As for Hillary, “what difference does it make”.  Hicks also questioned the lack of judgement of the front runner for the Democrat party for the presidential nominee in 2016 … Hicks is lucky he has not been imprisoned for such heresy.

And talk about the Obama administrations appalling audacity, Susan Rice will brief Congress on the reasons to attack Syria on the Anniversary of Benghazi. What a sick, cruel joke.

CNN: Obama Administration Using These Gruesome Videos of Alleged Chemical Attack to Guilt America into Military Action Against Assad & Syrian

As reported at CNN, the Obama Administration is using gruesome and disturbing videos of the aftermath of a chemical attack against the Syrian people by Syrian President Assad. But how is this any different than being told that a chemical attack occurred? It’s more of the same play on emotional, rather than telling us, “We the People” and Congress, what is the reason why there needs to be US involvement in a Syrian civil war. Of course this is heinous, but there are many things that occur in this world that are heinous that the US does nothing about. Sec. of State John Kerry had stated regarding Syria, ‘Not the Time to Be Silent Spectators to Slaughter’.  So let’s understand this, the first 100,000 people killed in Syria, that was OK to be a silent spectator, but now that chemical weapons were used, that is different? Really?

Barack Obama, John Kerry, et all have still failed to explain how this was against US national security.

I still do not know how Obama could draw a “red line” yet have nothing in place so if one went over that line, retaliation would occur. You don’t make such claims and ultimatums if you have butkis. This rodeo clown is so used to playing politics with his rhetoric against the GOP, that he has no concept how to act as a leader on world events. Instead, he folded like a house of cards and showed he has zero leadership skills.

These are some of the hard-to-stomach images that the Obama administration has shown a select group of senators in closed-door briefings to make the case that a limited military attack on Syria is justified.

CNN was the first to obtain the 13 different videos seen by members of the Senate Intelligence Committee that depict the gruesome scene of an chemical weapons attack in Syria on August 21. The administration told senators that their authenticity was verified by the intelligence community.

The attack, allegedly carried out by Syrian forces under President Bashar al-Assad, has touched off the most critical foreign policy question since the uprising began in 2011: Is a military response merited?

Video Warning – Disturbing in nature

As the anniversary of 9-11 is nearly upon us and the one year anniversary of the Benghazi terror attack, Obama’s greatest obstacle is how does he justify attacking Assad that will benefit the Al-Qaeda infested Syrian government opposition, when we have supposedly been at war with these terrorists for 12 years? Sorry, but how does the United States act in any military fashion that would aid Al-Qaeda?

Are You Kidding Me … Senator John McCain (R-AZ) Says Shouting ‘Allahu Akhbar!’ the Same as Christians Shouting ‘Thank God!’

NO HE DIDN’T … This is what political correctness gets you, a RINO politician making a comparison as absurd as it gets … Sure it is Senator McCain and Islam is a religion of peace as well.

As reported at Breitbart, this morning on ‘Fox & Friends’ Senator  John McCain (R-AZ) got indignant when suggested Fox News host Brian Kilmeade said he had a problem with Syrian opposition groups shouting “Allahu Akhbar! Allahu Akhbar!” as rockets hit government offices demonstrated Islamist influence among the opposition. McRINO actually said the following, that shouting ‘Allahu Akhbar!’ was the same as Christians shouting ‘Thank God!’ WOW, just WOW. Suddenly, everyone is a “moderate” Muslim to McCain. The Syrian freedom fighters, the Muslim Brotherhood, all good moderate Muslims. Exactly whose side is this guy on?

OK you senile SOB, how dare you. This fossil needs to be sent packing. A note to the moron senator from Arizona, when Christians thank God it is in thanks to Our Creator, not an affirmation to murder and martyrdom in the name of Allah. Good grief, you are an evil, demented little man.

“I have a problem helping those people screaming that after a hit,” Kilmeade said. McCain responded: “Would you have a problem with an American or Christians saying ‘thank God? Thank God?’” He added, “That’s what they’re saying. Come on! Of course they’re Muslims, but they’re moderates and I guarantee you they are moderates.” McCain provided no evidence to suggest that Syrian opposition groups are moderate, as opposed to the wide swath of evidence suggesting that the opposition is heavily infested with al Qaeda.

Just curious when was the last time you heard a Christan say thank God as he cut off some one’s head?

UPDATE I: From the Right Scoop … Mark Levin rips McCain a new one with his idiot comment about comparing ‘Allahu Akhbar!’ to ‘Thank God’.

Barack Obama Hears the Cries of Hypocrisy and Reads the Polls … Obama Says He Will Wait for Vote and Ask for Congress’s Approval to Take Military Action Against Syria … What Happened to the Urgency to Attack?

UM, WHAT HAPPENED TO OBAMA’S URGENCY TO ATTACK SYRIA … LIKE PASSING OBAMACARE?

Talk about your 180′s? This afternoon in a 35 minute delayed Rose Garden White House presser, President Barack Obama stated that he had has decided to use military force against Syria, but will ask Congress for approval to do so. So what made Obama change his mind on going it alone without any approval, could it have been the cries of HYPOCRISY were so loud that even the Obamamessiah could not ignore?  So Obama will wait until Congress comes back on September 9 to debate and vote on approval to use military force. HUH? What happened to the immediacy of having to attack Syria? Obama and Kerry had stated we had to do this sooner rather than later. Now Obama is willing to wait at last another 9 or 10 days, maybe two weeks?  That line in the sand appears to have been washed away by the ocean waves. Or was it the vote by the British Parliament and the fact that Americans want no part of another war in the Middle East? However, one thing is certain, Obama has handled this entire thing so poorly, he looks like a weak, rank amateur.

I am still not sure how Assad gassing his people is a risk to the United States national security. Sorry, by Syria using chemical weapons against its people, whether they be men, women or children is hideous. But Syria did not use them against us or are they planning to.  Also, does it really matter how a dictator kills his own people? Is it more outrageous is a dictator kills 500 people with chemical weapons or a firing squad?

President Obama said Saturday that the United States has decided to use military force against Syria, calling last week’s alleged chemical weapons attack there “an attack on human dignity,” but said he would seek congressional authorization for an attack.

The announcement puts off an imminent cruise missile strike, a prospect that had put the region on edge and stoked intense debate in the United States, where many dread getting dragged into a new war. It is not clear what the Obama administration would do if Congress declines to authorize a military operation.

“We cannot and must not turn a blind eye to what happened in Damascus,” Obama said during an address at the Rose Garden. “This has implications beyond chemical warfare.”

Congress is in recess until Sept. 9, and it was not immediately clear whether lawmakers would try to convene earlier for an emergency vote. Leading lawmakers who had called on the administration to seek congressional approval were pleased by Obama’s announcement.

The Hill: Rep. Peter King: Obama ‘abdicating responsibility as commander in chief’.

In a scathing statement that differed sharply from the reaction of House GOP leaders, King said Obama was making a mistake that would undermine future presidents.

“President Obama is abdicating his responsibility as commander-in-chief and undermining the authority of future presidents,” said King, a former Homeland Security Committee chairman who has flirted with running for president in 2016.

“The president does not need Congress to authorize a strike on Syria. If Assad’s use of chemical weapons against civilians deserves a military response, and I believe it does, and if the president is seeking congressional approval, then he should call Congress back into a special session at the earliest date,” King said.

Question 1: What happens if Congress does not give Congressional approval to attack Syria, much like the British Parliament denied UK Prime Minister Cameron? Obama has to sell his war against Syria and to date has not done so. Lobbing a couple of cruise missiles is hardly worth the headache. Obama has said that an attack would not be for regime change. So then what would it be for? Any attach against Assad will be in support of the opposition backed by Al-Qaeda.

Question 2: What happens if what Obama does creates regime change in Syria and we replace a dictator with Al-Qaeda?
