So much for Barack Obama’s Overseas Contingency Operation … It has been a long time in coming and it took President Donald Trump to say it during his first Address to Congress to unabashedly name the enemy confronting the United States and the rest of the world, radical Islamic terrorism!!! The WAPO described the 3 words used by President Trump  as the ‘Three words that separate Trump from most of Washington.’ Note to WAPO, Democrats, liberals and the rest of the MSM, you know who also uses those same three words and are on the side of President Donald J. Trump, WE THE PEOPLE!!!

Via Breitbart:

“We’re also taking strong measures to protect our nation from radical Islamic terrorism,” Trump said in his address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night, with Republicans and one Democrat, Rep. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), responding with a standing ovation.

“According to data provided by the Department of Justice, the vast majority of individuals convicted of terrorism and terrorism related offenses since 9/11 came here from outside of our country,” Trump said.

“We have seen the attacks at home from Boston to San Bernardino to the Pentagon and, yes, even the World Trade Center,” Trump said. “We have seen the attacks in France, in Belgium, in Germany, and all over the world.

“It is not compassion but reckless to allow uncontrolled entry from places where proper vetting cannot occur,” Trump said.

President Donald Trump’s First Address to Congress … A Grand Slam Home Run!!! (VIDEO)

BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN SPEECH, AMAZINGLY DELIVERED AND MADE DEMOCRATS LOOK REALLY, REALLY SMALL … THIS I CAN TELL YOU!!!

Tonight in President Donald Trump’s first Address to Congress, he called for a “restart the engine of the American economy” through tax cuts, better trade deals, immigration enforcement and a $1 trillion infrastructure program, the repeal and replacement of Obamacare, historic tax reform for business and the middle class,  an increase in military spending by $54 billion, while cutting other agency budgets by the same amount and leave entitlements like Medicare untouched. Trump asked for Republicans and Democrats to work together for the sake of the American people to give the people a real healthcare plan that they are not forced to buy from the government, lower the cost and provide an actually working form of insurance that works before Obamacare implodes. And he called for the Department of Defense to develop a plan to demolish and destroy ISIS, a network of lawless savages that have slaughtered Muslims and Christians, and men, women, and children of all faiths and beliefs.

By contrast, Democrats looked so small tonight as they refused to stand or clap for President Trump’s vision of school choice for blacks and Hispanics, jobs for Americans, or the support of United States citizens who were victims of of illegal immigrant violence. Many in this country, especially Independents are asking themselves just who’s side are you on?

President Trump declared Tuesday that a “new chapter of American greatness is now beginning” as he made economic revival the centerpiece of his first address to Congress – issuing a clarion call to “restart the engine of the American economy” through tax cuts, better trade deals, immigration enforcement and a $1 trillion infrastructure program.

He also called on Congress to replace what he called the “imploding ObamaCare disaster,” with legislation that lowers costs and expands access, an ambitious goal for GOP lawmakers still trying to come together on a plan.

The president outlined his agenda in an address to a joint session of Congress that lasted roughly an hour and focused almost exclusively on priorities at home, not abroad. He offered a decidedly upbeat vision for the future of the country that stood in contrast to his at-times foreboding inauguration address.

“Everything that is broken in our country can be fixed. Every problem can be solved. And every hurting family can find healing, and hope,” Trump said.

Trump for the most part traded the contentious and punchy tone of the last few weeks for loftier – some might say more presidential – rhetoric. Declaring “the time for small thinking is over,” Trump appealed to the country to “believe, once more, in America.”

Fake Oscar: ‘La La Land’ Declared Best Picture in Major Acadamy Award Screw Up … ‘Moonlight’ Later Declared Winner

ITS CALLED KARMA BABY:  MAYBE THE OSCARS SHOULD HAVE WORRIED MORE ABOUT GETTING THEIR SHOW CORRECT, RATHER THAN JUST BASHING TRUMP …

And the Academy award for Best Picture goes to La La Land. Oops, I mean Moonlight. In what can only be described as the biggest screw up in Oscar’s history, The Academy Awards actually announced the wrong winner for the biggest award of the night. UNREAL. I have said for years, how do so many people put merit in a profession where all the individuals do is read off a dummy card and some one else’s work? In this case, they couldn’t even do that.  Thus, for this colossal gaffe, the 89th Academy Awards will not be remembered for all of the anti-Trump liberal gibberish, it will be forever remembered for presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway declaring that “La La Land” had won during the evening’s final presentation, even though it had not.

And we are supposed to listen to this fools give us political advice and lecture us when they can’t even read a card or get something as simple as providing an envelop to some one properly? Hey lefty Hollywood, maybe the Russians switched the envelops.

In a moment that will go down as one of the strangest and most shocking in Oscar history, “Moonlight” was named Oscar winner for best picture only after “La La Land” was announced first.

The room was in disarray as they sorted out the error.

Here’s how it went down:

Co-presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were on stage to present the award. After listing the nominated films. Beatty opened the envelope and then paused for longer than usual. He looked around and over at Dunaway, who then announced “La La Land” had won.

Producers and cast members from “La La Land,” the candy-colored big-screen romantic musical about two artists striving to fulfill their dreams, made their way to the stage to celebrate. They had begun their thank yous when the mistake was caught.

“La La Land” producer Jordan Horowitz interrupted the celebration, calling attention to the discrepancy on the winners card in his hand.

UPDATE I: Oh my f—king God, it’s not La La Land, it’s Moonlight!

Before walking onstage to present the final award of the night, Faye Dunaway had a last-minute hair touch-up and Warren Beatty was in great spirits.

The atmosphere backstage was electric, and everything was going so well.

Until it wasn’t.

Within moments of Dunaway announcing La La Land as the Best Picture winner, it was clear something was awry.

“Oh my god, it’s Moonlight!” a stage manager said aloud, and into a headset, while starting to pace. “Oh my god! Oh my god!” As the seconds passed and the La La Land producers, Oscars aloft, were well into their acceptance speeches, the low-level confusion backstage turned into jaw-dropping disbelief.

“Oh my f—king God, it’s not La La Land, it’s Moonlight! He’s got the wrong envelope!” said someone from the production crew, hands on head in shock.  “They read the wrong envelope!”

Vice President Mike Pence’s Wows Them at CPAC 2017 … This is not a Government of the Elites, by the Media or for the Establishment (VIDEO)

VP PENCE A HUGE HIT AT CPAC 2017 …

Last night at CPAC 2017, Vice President Mike Pence brought down the house as his speech was met with thunderous cheers and applause. Pence joked that he was a little different from Trump as the president was known for his larger than life personality, his charm and his charisma, and he was not. Then came VP Pence’s best speeches to date. He literally brought down the house. Pence told the CPAC crowd that President Trump never quits, he never backs down, he is a fighter, he is a winner and I promise you he will never stop fighting until he makes America great again!

VP Pence went on to say that Donald Trump reminded him of Ronald Reagan, in providing a voice to the forgotten people. Pence when on to say, “And President Donald Trump won a historic victory all across the United States of America, winning 30 of 50 states, including states that no Republican has won in a generation. President Donald Trump turned the blue wall read and the establishment never saw it coming.”

Vice President Pence went on to say that the political and media elites are still dismissing President Trump and the people even after the historic presidential election. He stated, what they should have learned from the election, this is not a government of the elites, by the media or for the establishment, what November 8th showed, even if they didn’t listen that this is still government of the people, by the people and for the people.”

VP Mike Pence rallies CPAC around President Trump’s agenda:

Pence delivered his rallying cry as heated, at-times angry confrontations continue to erupt around the country between Republican members of Congress and constituents anxious about the GOP’s plans to dismantle the health care law.

“Despite the best efforts of liberal activists at town halls, the American people know better. Obamacare has failed and Obamacare must go,” Pence said to applause here at the American Conservative Union’s annual conference.

He dismissed the concerns expressed at town halls around the country that those covered through Obamacare could lose health care coverage as “fear-mongering from the left” and vowed there would be an “orderly transition” to a new health care system. Republicans are still working to formulate a replacement for the health care law, but Pence promised it would maintain protections for Americans with pre-existing conditions and allow the purchase of health care policies across state lines.

Pence also laid out the Trump administration’s priorities in his speech Thursday night, telling the conservative crowd: “This is our time.”

He touted Trump’s plans to bulk up the US military, details of which are expected next week, and ticked down a list of crowd-favorite policies that riled the conservative crowd to their feet, including the administration’s anti-abortion agenda, its robust support for Israel and actions to end illegal immigration.
But he made clear the administration would need to “fight” to achieve its goals — and he laid out the battle lines of that fight.

“Our fight didn’t end on November 8. We won the day, make no mistake about it. The harder work, the more important work now lies ahead,” he said.

And as he urged Americans not to believe the concerns Democrats have raised about GOP plans to act on a repeal of the health care law before enacting a replacement, Pence slammed Democrats’ previous talking points in support of the health care law by branding them as “fake news.”

“Talk about your fake news, folks, just look at all the promises liberals made about Obamacare,” Pence said. “They told us if you liked your doctor, you could keep (them). They told us if you liked your health plan, you could keep it.”
