Silent No More: George W. Bush Rips Barack Obama on Middle East Foreign Policy … Says Obama is Naïve on Iran & Nuclear Deal and is Losing the War against the ISIS

IT IS ABOUT TIME THE COWBOY SAID SOMETHING, GWB RIPS BARACK OBAMA’S DISASTROUS AND NAIVE FOREIGN POLICY IN THE MIDDLE EAST

At a Republican Jewish Coalition session, held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas with owner Sheldon Adelson, former President George W. Bush blasted Barack Obama for his disastrous and naive foreign policy in the Middle East. GWB said that Obama was being naive when it came to Iran and the so-called framework nuclear deal and said that Obama was losing the war against ISIS. Bush further went on to say that Obama was placing the United States in “retreat” around the world. GWB, the cowboy that we have been longing for let loose with the following, “In order to be an effective president, when you say something you have to mean it. You gotta kill em.” Maybe the most reflective comment GWB made while blasting Obama’s vision-less and dangerous foreign policy was when he said of the foolish Iran nuclear deal, “You think the Middle East is chaotic now? Imagine what it looks like for our grandchildren. That’s how Americans should view the deal.”

Hey America, who’s the IDIOT again?

In a closed-door meeting with Jewish Donors Saturday night, former President George W. Bush delivered his harshest public criticisms to date against his successor on foreign policy, saying that President Barack Obama is being naïve about Iran and the pending nuclear deal and losing the war against the Islamic State.

One attendee at the Republican Jewish Coalition session, held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas with owner Sheldon Adelson in attendance, transcribed large portions of Bush’s remarks. The former president, who rarely ever criticizes Obama in public, at first remarked that the idea of re-entering the political arena was something he didn’t want to do. He then proceeded to explain why Obama, in his view, was placing the U.S. in “retreat” around the world. He also said Obama was misreading Iran’s intentions while relaxing sanctions on Tehran too easily.

According to the attendee’s transcription, Bush noted that Iran has a new president, Hassan Rouhani. “He’s smooth,” Bush said. “And you’ve got to ask yourself, is there a new policy or did they just change the spokesman?”

Bush said that Obama’s plan to lift sanctions on Iran with a promise that they could snap back in place at any time was not plausible. He also said the deal would be bad for American national security in the long term: You think the Middle East is chaotic now? Imagine what it looks like for our grandchildren. That’s how Americans should view the deal.”

Bush then went into a detailed criticism of Obama’s policies in fighting the Islamic State and dealing with the chaos in Iraq. On Obama’s decision to withdraw all U.S. troops in Iraq at the end of 2011, he quoted Senator Lindsey Graham calling it a “strategic blunder.” Bush signed an agreement with the Iraqi government to withdraw those troops, but the idea had been to negotiate a new status of forces agreement to keep U.S. forces there past 2011. The Obama administration tried and failed to negotiate such an agreement.

Bush said he views the rise of the Islamic State as al-Qaeda’s “second act” and that they may have changed the name but that murdering innocents is still the favored tactic. He defended his own administration’s handling of terrorism, noting that the terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who confessed to killing Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, was captured on his watch: “Just remember the guy who slit Danny Pearl’s throat is in Gitmo, and now they’re doing it on TV.”

Obama promised to degrade and destroy Islamic State’s forces but then didn’t develop a strategy to complete the mission, Bush said. He said that if you have a military goal and you mean it, “you call in your military and say ‘What’s your plan?’ ” He indirectly touted his own decision to surge troops to Iraq in 2007, by saying, “When the plan wasn’t working in Iraq, we changed.”

“In order to be an effective president … when you say something you have to mean it,” he said. “You gotta kill em.”

18 Al-Qaeda Islamic Extremists Arrested in Italy for 2010 Vatican Terror Plot

ARRESTS MADE IN ITALY FOR 2010 SUICIDE BOMB PLOT AGAINST THE VATICAN AND POPE BENEDICT XVI …

As reported at Reuters, Italian security forces have arrested 18 radical Islamic extremists Friday who prosecutors said were behind a failed 2010 plot to attack the Vatican as well as a bombing at a Pakistan market that killed more than 100 a year earlier. Prosecutor Mauro Mura stated in Cagliari, Sardinia that wiretaps indicated the suspected terrorists, including two former bodyguards for Usama bin Laden, planned a bomb attack at the Vatican and went as far as to send a suicide bomber to Rome.

Italian police were arresting 18 people on Friday suspected of belonging to an armed group linked to al Qaeda who were plotting attacks on the Vatican as well as in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Some of the suspects, who are all Pakistanis and Afghans, were arrested in early morning raids across Italy. Police burst into the home of the group’s suspected spiritual leader, in the northern city of Bergamo, a video released by them showed.

Though the suspects were plotting attacks mainly in their native countries, phone taps suggest the Vatican was also a target, said Mauro Mura, chief prosecutor of the Sardinian city of Cagliari, where the group based its headquarters.

In the tapped conversations, the suspects discuss “a big jihad in Italy,” added Mario Carta, head of the police unit on the case. They reference the word “baba”, which could mean the pope, Carta said.

“We don’t have proof, we have strong suspicion,” that the Holy See was a possible target, he added.

Italy: Al-Qaeda cell planned suicide attack on Vatican:

Raids were carried out simultaneously in seven different Italian provinces with arrest warrants for 18 suspected Islamic extremists following a lengthy investigation in Cagliari, capital of the Italian island Sardinia.

Authorities uncovered plans for a suicide bomber plot against the Vatican in 2010, when Pope Benedict XVI was pontiff. Evidence includes a “martyr’s vow” from a would-be suicide bomber threatening to strike against the Vatican, the spiritual focal point for the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics.

Mario Carta, an official from the counter-terror police force that carried out the raids, called it “one of the most important operations ever carried out in Italy.” Police said the operation targeted an “extremely well-structured terror network” based in Sardinia since at least 2005 that was made up of Pakistani and Afghan nationals.

Nine people have been arrested, and two are still at large in Italy. Seven of the suspects are believed to be in Pakistan, Carta said.

ISIS Takes Credit for Suicide Bombing That Killed at Least 33 People in Afghanistan

Barack Obama’s JV terrorist killers take credit for slaughter of 33 people in Afghanistan …

Hours after the suicide bombing attack Jalalabad, Afghanistan that saw 33 people killed and more than 100 injured, ISIS took credit for the slaughter. The attack in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nagarhar province, targeted a crowd of soldiers and civilians gathered outside the bank to receive their monthly salaries. Even the Taliban condemned the attack and killing of innocents who were just simply waiting in line outside a bank. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid stated,“It was an evil act. We strongly condemn it.” You know you are a bunch of savage murdering animals when other terrorist groups condemn your killing. But of course, this is the same radical Islamist terrorists that Barack Obama called the JV and says are not Islamic.

A motorcycle-riding suicide bomber attacked a bank branch Saturday in eastern Afghanistan, killing at least 33 people in a deadly attack the country’s president said was claimed by the Islamic State group.

The attack marks a major escalation in the country’s fight against an affiliate of the extremist group that now holds a third of Iraq and Syria in its self-declared caliphate.

It also comes as Afghan security forces fight against the Taliban after U.S. and NATO forces ended their combat mission in the country at the start of the year, yet another challenge for the war-ravaged nation.

The attack in Jalalabad, capital of eastern Nagarhar province, targeted a crowd of soldiers and civilians gathered outside the bank to receive their monthly salaries. The blast killed at least 33 people and wounded more than 100, said Dr. Hamayon Zaheer, the head of Jalalabad’s hospital.

Hours after the attack, President Ashraf Ghani blamed the Islamic State group for the attack.

“In the horrific incident in Nangarhar, who took responsibility? The Taliban didn’t claim responsibility. Daesh claimed responsibility for it,” Ghani said, using an Arabic acronym for the group.

Ghani warned before that the Islamic State group was starting to establish a presence in Afghanistan. He used his visit to the United States last month to reiterate his concerns that the extremist group was making inroads into Afghanistan.

New ISIS Video Shows Mass Murder of Ethiopian Christians in Libya

Remember when Barack Obama hails death of Muammar Gaddafi as foreign policy?

A new ISIS video has been released showing the mass murder of 30 or so Ethiopian Christians in Libya. The 29-minute video shows the ISIS terrorists holding two groups of captives, described in a text on the screen as “followers of the cross from the enemy Ethiopian Church”.  Ethiopia condemned the reported killing of Ethiopian Christians captured in Libya as the Ethiopian Minster of Communications Redwan Hussein stated, We strongly condemn such atrocities, whether they are Ethiopians are not.” The video was similar to the one ISIS released in February showing the mass beheading of Egyptian Christian hostages. But ISIS is the JV as per Barack Obama and we are defeating them. Sure we are.

A shocking new video appearing to show at least 30 Christians being beheaded and shot by ISIS has been released.

The 29-minute video, titled ‘Until It Came To Them – Clear Evidence’, shows dozens of militants holding two separate groups captive in Libya.

At least 16 men, described by Islamic State as the ‘followers of the cross from the enemy Ethiopian Church’, are lined up in a desert area while 12 others are filmed being forced to walk down a beach.

Ethiopia was unable to confirm its citizens were killed in the footage but condemned the ‘atrocious act’, a government official said.

USA Today:

A video purporting to show the killing of Ethiopian Christians by Islamic State-affiliated militants in Libya has been released online.

The 29-minute video appears to show militants holding two groups of captives, one by an affiliate in eastern Libya known as Barka Province and the other by the Fazzan Province, an affiliate in the south.

A masked fighter wielding a pistol says Christians must convert to Islam or pay a special tax prescribed by the Quran, before the captives in the south are shown being shot dead and the captives in the east are beheaded on a beach.

In January, militants loyal to the Islamic State group, also known as ISIS and ISIL, claimed responsibility for an attack on the Corinthia hotel in the Libyan capital of Tripoli that left 10 people including an American and four other foreigners dead.

BOSTON BOMBING VERDICT: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Guilty on All 30 Counts in Boston Marathon Bombings … Now Jury Must Decide Whether He Gets Death Penalty or Life in Prison

Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev found guilty on all counts …  GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been found guilty on all counts!!! It took the jury of seven women and five men 11½ hours of deliberations to reach their verdict, longer than it takes to run the Boston marathon. The convicted bomber never once looked at the jury as their verdicts were read. In the end, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is guilty as sin for his crimes committed at the 2013 Boston Marathon and the ensuing acts that took place. As if that was ever in doubt. There was a mountain of evidence and some crimes are just so heinous that it is just a matter of the jury methodically going through the legal paperwork.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev VIDEO: The guilty counts, one-by-one

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, his face a blank, stood with his head bowed and his hands clasped as the guilty verdicts tolled one after another for what seemed like an eternity: Guilty of using weapons of mass destruction, guilty of bombing a place of public use, guilty of conspiracy and aiding and abetting. Guilty, guilty, guilty: The word was spoken 32 times.Yes, the jury said, Tsarnaev caused the deaths of Krystle Campbell, Martin Richard, Lingzi Lu and Sean Collier. Yes, it was murder. And so, the word “yes” was spoken 63 times, each time making Tsarnaev eligible for the death penalty.

From start to finish, it took 26 minutes for the jury to announce its verdict in the Boston Marathon bombing trial: Tsarnaev didn’t skate on a single charge. He now stands guilty of all 30 counts, 17 of which could send him to death row.

If hearing the verdicts seemed overwhelming, that paled in comparison to seeing and hearing evidence behind them: awful images and sounds. The jury saw bombs explode and tear people apart. They saw streets splashed crimson with blood and littered with severed limbs and body parts. They heard the cries of the injured, and witnesses told them how people tended to the dying and gravely injured, unaware of their own injuries as they tied belts around the mangled limbs of friends and strangers alike.

UPDATE I: After bomber’s conviction, jury to decide life or death.

17 of the 30 counts that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was found guilty of on Wednesday are punishable by death. The question now becomes should Dzhokhar Tsarnaev rot in prison or rot in hell. Personally, I would choose Hell.

Now that a jury has convicted Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on all charges, even more is at stake in the next phase of the federal trial: The same 12 people must decide whether the 21-year-old lives or dies.

Tsarnaev was found guilty Wednesday of 30 counts against him, including conspiracy and deadly use of a weapon of mass destruction. Seventeen of those charges are punishable by death.

“In a crime of this magnitude, what American citizen wouldn’t ask, `What would drive a person to do this?’ And, as a juror, the question becomes, what answer would satisfy you?”

During the penalty phase, which could begin as early as Monday, prosecutors will provide evidence of aggravating factors they believe support the death penalty. They’ve already listed several aggravating factors, including the killing of a child and the targeting of the marathon because of the potential for maximum bloodshed.

UPDATE II: Tsarnaev relative in Russia says she believes he’s innocent.

A U.S. jury found Dzhokhar Tsarnaev guilty of the Boston Marathon bombing, and his own lawyer admitted it in court, but a relative said Thursday that she remains convinced that he and his now-dead elder brother had no reason to carry out such a terrorist attack.

Tsarnaev was found guilty on Wednesday of all 30 counts against him, and now the same jury in Boston must decide whether he should be sentenced to death or to life in prison.

Roza Tsarnaeva, a 66-year-old cousin of Tsarnaev’s father, told The Associated Press in Chechnya that she is “completely convinced that they were not guilty of this.”

“When something happens the first thing you have to do is ask ‘who needs this?’ These boys didn’t need this,” she said. “They never saw war, they were little when they arrived in the U.S. and grew up there.

“No one in the Tsarnaev family, none of the relatives, ever took part in the military campaigns in Chechnya” in which separatists, some of them radical Islamists, fought two wars against Russian troops, she said.

Tsarnaeva claimed that the Boston bombing was “the doing of the American secret services, although with what aim I don’t know.”
