Two New York City Women (Noelle Velentzas & Asia Siddiqui) Arrested in Connection with Home Grown Terrorist Bomb Plot

Two New York City women, 28 year old Noelle Velentzas and 31 year old Asia Siddiqui, were arrested at their Queens homes early Thursday during a police and FBI sting operation. It is reported that the two women were influenced by ISIS and the Boston Marathon bombing.  According to the complaint, the women “researched and acquired some of the components of a car bomb, like the one used in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing; a fertilizer bomb, like the one used in the 1995 bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City; and a pressure cooker bomb, like the one used in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.” The two female terrorists were reportedly going to attack police amnd military funerals.

The disturbing allegations were contained in court papers describing the latest homegrown terror plot thwarted by the FBI and the New York Police Department.

Noelle Velentzas and Asia Siddiqui were arrested at their Queens homes early Thursday following a sting operation using an undercover officer wearing a wire. Officer searching the homes recovered items including three gas tanks, a pressure cooker, fertilizer, handwritten notes on the recipes for bomb making and jihadist literature, court papers say.

Velentzas, had been “obsessed with pressure cookers since the Boston Marathon attacks in 2013” and made jokes alluding to explosives after receiving one as a gift, according to a criminal complaint citing one of the secret recordings made by the undercover who managed to befriend the pair.

The arrests show U.S. authorities “are committed to doing everything in our ability to detect, disrupt, and deter attacks by homegrown violent extremists,” U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch said in a statement. “As alleged, the defendants in this case carefully studied how to construct an explosive device to launch an attack on the homeland.”

In a telephone interview with jailed Tri-State terrorist, Christopher Lee Cornell, stated what his intentions were and that he was looking to raise jihad in America. Cornell said had he not been arrested by the FBI (VIDEO) outside the Point Blank Range and Gun shop in Colerain Township, he “would have took my gun, I would have put it to Obama’s head and I would have pulled the trigger. Then I would have released more bullets on the Senate and the House of Representative members, and I would have attacked the Israeli embassy and various other buildings full of kafr who want to wage war against us Muslims.” Cornell goes by his Muslim name, Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah. Thankfully,  Christopher Lee Cornell was arrested in a FBI sting and has been indicted on federal charges in connection with alleged bomb threat and with attempted murder of a government official, solicitation to commit a crime and possession of a firearm with intent to commit a violent crime.

Cornell said he didn’t do this alone, and spoke about his alleged ties to leaders of the Islamic State in the interview, saying he spoke with other members overseas via an encrypted messaging service.

“Talking about how we should raise Jihad in America. We should form groups and alliances with the Islamic State. When I say groups, I mean what you would call sleeper cells,” said Cornell.

And Cornell said he believes there are more attacks to come.

“What do I think is coming? Many things. There will be many, many attacks. Like I said, we are ready for the battle over the Capitol.”

Cornell said there are others like him throughout the United States.

“We are pretty strong. Yes, yes. In every state like I said. We’re in Texas. We’re in Ohio. We’re in New York City. We’re in Washington, DC. We’re in every single state you can name, just about.”

Cornell said he was fighting against “the continued American aggression against our people and the fact that America, specifically, President Obama, wants to wage war against the Islamic State.”

“Yes, they might say I’m a terrorist, but we see the American troops as terrorists as well, coming to our lands, invading, stealing our resources and killing our people, raping our women,” said Cornell. “Have you seen the photos and videos of the innocent children being killed, bodies upon bodies, stacked inside the back of a truck? You know, that’s what’s happening to our kids. America is funding and giving weapons to Israel. Israel is using these weapons to kill our children in Palestine every single day.”

Radical Islamist Group Al Shabaab Calls for Terror Attack at Mall in the United States, Naming the Mall of America in MN (Also Malls in Canada & UK) in New Video

Radical Islamic terror group Al-Shabaab has released a video calling for attacks on the Mall of America, in Bloomington, Minnesota.  The Al Shabaab video also called for terror attacks at shopping malls in Canada, and the UK,  specifically naming the West Edmonton Mall in Canada and the Oxford Street shopping area in London.  Al Shabaab is a Somali terrorist  group affiliated with al Qaeda. These are the same Islamo-Nazis that were responsible for the 2013 Westgate Mall terror attack in Nairobi, Kenya, that killed more than 60 people.

Imagine that, the radical Islamists want to attack malls … maybe Barack Obama and State Dept. spokesperson Marie Harf can get the jihadists jobs at the Mall of the Americas so that they will turn away from radical Islam. [Sarcasm intended].

A new video from Al Shabaab purportedly shows the terror group calling for an attack on Mall of America, in Bloomington, Minn.

According to Fox 9, the mall is one of three similar targets the terror group specifically names, including West Edmonton Mall in Canada and the Oxford Street shopping area in London.

The video purportedly shows 6 minutes of graphic images and the terrorists celebrating the 2013 Westgate Mall attack in Nairobi, Kenya, that killed more than 60 people.

“We will continue to monitor events with the help of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies,” Mall of America said in a statement. “As always, we take any potential threat seriously and respond appropriately. Mall of America has implemented extra security precautions, some may be noticeable to guests, and others won’t be. We will continue to follow the situation, along with law enforcement, and will remain vigilant as we always do in similar situations.”

Malls response to terrorist threat videos:

In its new video, it calls for similar attacks on malls in the three Western countries. Al-Shabaab identified specific malls, but CNN will not list them unless they respond publicly.

Mall of America said it’s aware of the video listing it as a potential target.

“We take any potential threat seriously and respond appropriately,” the Minnesota mall said in a statement. “We have implemented extra security precautions, some may be noticeable to guests and others won’t be.”

The West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada, which was also listed, said it has implemented extra security and is working with federal and local law enforcement agencies.

U.S. officials said they’re aware of the threats and urged mall shoppers to be vigilant.

UPDATE I: West Edmonton Mall named in al-Shabaab video as possible target.

Alberta RCMP Staff Sgt. Brent Meyer said the force is aware of the report of a possible threat and is investigating.  According to a statement from the mall, the “West Edmonton Mall has implemented extra security precautions; some may be noticeable to guests, and others won’t be.

The al-Qaeda-linked group al-Shabaab appears to call on followers to attack shopping malls in the United States, U.K., France, and Canada and has released a video naming West Edmonton Mall as a possible target.

Close to the end of the nearly 77-minute video, a masked man with an English accent calls on “Muslim brothers to target the disbelievers wherever they are” and lists a number of shopping centres that could be attacked in the West.

“If just a handful of mujahedeen fighters could bring Kenya to a complete standstill for nearly a week, then imagine what a dedicated mujahedeen in the West could do to the American or Jewish-owned shopping centres across the world,” the man says.

“What if such an attack was to occur in the Mall of America in Minnesota, or the West Edmonton Mall in Canada, or in London’s Oxford Street, or any of the hundred or so Jewish-owned Westfield shopping centres dotted right across the western world?” he continues.

Other malls listed in the video include two in Paris, Les Quatre Temps and Forum des Halles.

According to credible sources, the threat is aimed at Europe,” adding, “The US has improved their security over the summer, but we have not.’’ because of the threat, British airport officials may require devices such as smartphones and iPads to be placed in checked luggage. May? Also, the threat has been deemed so seriously that officials may have an outright ban on all hand luggage. The fear is also that the future terrorism could be carried out by sleepers or western converts who could very likely have blue eyes and blonde hair as opposed to dark skin and beards.

“Everyone is expecting something catastrophic very soon,” a source told the Sunday Express. “We’ve been told that five planes are being targeted in a high-profile hit before Christmas. They’ve been waiting for the big one.”

London authorities were the first to uncover the threat, which would involve midair bombings, a source told The Post.

“There is a credible threat that they’re concerned about,’’ another source said. “They’ve known about it for a while.”

The plot, which has been known about for the past two months, is thought to involve Islamists smuggling bombs on to planes bound for major European destinations before Christmas.

The well-placed security insider said talks had been held about how to deal with it, with suggestions made to ban hand luggage.

The source said: “High level negotiations are continuing at Governmental level but at the moment there has been little done to respond.

“There is paralysis because of the difficulty of banning hand luggage which is one of the strongest weapons we have against the new threats.

“All electronics may be banned from hand luggage and placed in the hold, that has been considered, and there has been behavior analysis training at airports but while it’s effective, it’s difficult to roll out quickly and is not a sufficient safety net.

San Francisco 49ers Linebacker Aldon Smith Arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday … Stated “He Was in Possession of a Bomb”

49ers LB Aldon Smith in trouble again …

San Francisco 49er linebacker Aldon Smith was arrested Sunday at Los Angeles International Airport after making the comment that he had a bomb during a security screening. Smith was going through Terminal 1 as LAX screeneing when he was randomly selected for secondary screening. Smith then became belligerent and uncooperative with the process and then made the cardinal sins of all sins at an airport and said, he was in possession of a bomb. Smith was then detained and taken into custody by airport police. Aldon Smith was transported to the Los Angeles Police Department where he was booked for felony false report of a bomb threat. The arrest was the latest in a string of arrests including the most recent on September  20 on a charge of driving under the influence. He was arrested on the same charge in January 2012.

It has been quite the busy week for the San Francisco 49ers and none of it has to do with football. First the allegations regarding QB Colin Kaepernick and now this.

Niners linebacker Aldon Smith was arrested Sunday at Los Angeles International Airport after claiming he had a bomb during a security screening, airport police said.

Smith, 24, made the threat after he was randomly selected for a second screening at about 2 p.m. as he went through the Transportation Security Agency checkpoint for Terminal 1.

“The suspect then became belligerent and uncooperative with the process and with the TSA agent, making a comment indicating that he was in possession of a bomb before proceeding toward the gate area,” Sgt. Karla Ortiz said in a statement.
