Omar Mateen, the radicalized Islamist terrorist, who killed 49 innocent individuals in Orlando, Florida at the night club Pulse was interviewed multiple times by the FBI. Some how the FBI found nothing wrong. It begs two questions. How did the FBI find nothing wrong with this individual when others around him knew he was not right? Also, how does a man investigated by the FBI for possible links to terrorism buy an assault-style weapon in America? HOW DID THAT NOT RAISE A RED FLAG!!! So instead, we have back ground checks to harass law abiding citizens, but some how some one who was investigated by the FBI does not have an “***” next to his name?

Are you kidding me!!!  Oh this provides me with so much confidence as well that he will properly investigate Hillary Clinton as well. Even as FBI investigators peered deeper Tuesday into the life of the Orlando nightclub gunman, the agency faced its own internal reckoning over whether warnings signs were missed during a 10-month probe of the shooter three years ago.

The expected review of the FBI files into Omar Mateen — including why the investigation was effectively closed — adds another layer of questions into the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation will “look at our own work, to see if there is something we should have done differently,” the agency’s director, James Comey, said Monday after details emerged of the past FBI review of Mateen, who left 49 people dead in a gay club Sunday before being killed when police stormed the site.

“So far, I think the honest answer is: I don’t think so,” Comey added. “We will continue to look forward in this investigation and backward.”

The FBI investigated Mateen beginning in 2013, putting him under surveillance, recording his calls and using confidential informants to gauge whether he had been radicalized after the suspect talked at work about his connections with al-Qaeda and dying as a martyr

25 Year Old Larossi Abballa, who claimed allegiance to ISIS, stabbed to death a police captain and his companion on Monday had been sentenced to prison in 2013 for membership in a group that was planning terrorist activities. Abballa also took a 3 year old boy hostage. The terrorist was shot dead by members of an elite French police unit after negotiations failed. The child was rescued and safe. President Francois Hollande called the murder of two police officials by a man claiming allegiance to so-called Islamic State (IS) is “unquestionably a terrorist act”.

A man who claimed allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) group stabbed a senior French police officer to death on Monday night before he was killed in a dramatic police operation, officials have said.

The attacker repeatedly stabbed the officer before taking the officer’s partner and their son hostage in their home in Magnanville, near Paris.

He was shot dead by members of an elite police unit after negotiations failed. The partner was found dead but the child was rescued.

French President François Hollande said Tuesday the murders were “unquestionably a terrorist act”.

Sources close to the investigation named the suspect as 25-year-old Larossi Abballa, adding that he had been sentenced in 2013 for links to a jihadist network that sent recruits to Pakistan.

A news agency linked to the IS group said the attack had been carried out by an “Islamic State fighter”, days after posting a similar claim following the massacre at a gay club in Orlando, Florida.

In just another example of what can only make Americans scratch their collective heads in wonderment, how does a 29 year old male who follows Islam, (yes I am profiling), who claims to have had ties to terrorism and had twice had been investigated by the FBI … become the terrorist gunman who murders 49 individuals at a gay nightclub in Orlando, FL and and becomes the greatest mass murder in American history? How could everyone have misread the signs? Or was in political correctness that did so?  Just a note to Barack Obama and the liberal news media, terrorism is an act of hate no matter who the victims are. While Mateen claimed allegiance to Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, no evidence had emerged by late Sunday pointing to actual ties to terrorist groups or a significant association with jihadist causes. And although family members said Mateen had expressed anger about homosexuality, the shooter had no record of previous hate crimes.

He had twice come under investigation by the FBI — once for comments suggesting an affinity for Islamist groups, and a second time for vague connections to another Florida man who traveled to Syria to become a suicide bomber. Neither probe turned up evidence of wrongdoing, and Mateen had a blemish-free record when he applied for a Florida license to carry concealed weapons and again when he legally purchased two firearms, including an assault-style semiautomatic rifle, just a few days before the shootings.

But there also were early signs of emotional trouble and a volatile temper, according to Sitora Yusifiy, who was briefly married to Mateen. Yusifiy described Mateen as an abusive husband who beat her repeatedly while they were married.

“He was not a stable person,” she told The Washington Post. “He beat me. He would just come home and start beating me up because the laundry wasn’t finished or something like that.”

The gunman opened fire and took hostages at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, early Sunday morning. The gunman has been identified as 29 year old Omar Mateen, who was killed by police. Prior to the mass murders, Islamic killer Omar Mateen swore allegiance to ISIS.

At least 50 people were killed and more than 50 others were wounded when a gunman opened fire and took hostages at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, early Sunday morning.

The shooter, identified by several law enforcement sources as Omar Mateen, 29, was killed in a shootout with law enforcement after a three-hour siege.

The massacre — the worst mass shooting in the history of the United States — began when the gunman stormed the Pulse Nightclub about 2 a.m. ET with an AR-15 type rifle and a handgun, officials said.

The carnage ended about 5 a.m. ET, when 11 Orlando police officers and three Orange County sheriff’s deputies stormed the nightclub and exchanged fire with Mateen, authorities said. City officials said about 300 people were in the club at the time of the shooting.

The two have been identified as a married couple, Justin and Stephanie Shults. They were killed in the bombings at Brussels’ Zaventem Airport. Earlier Sunday, the White House said that President Barack Obama telephoned the parents of an American couple identified as among the dead in last week’s attacks. What, Obama didn’t have a more pressing golf game to attend? Justin Shults was originally from Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and his wife, Stephanie, was a native of Lexington, Kentucky. They graduated together from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. Previously, Alexander Pinczowski and his sister, Sascha, were killed at Brussels airport.

A State Department official confirmed the deaths of two additional U.S. citizens in a brief statement, but declined to identify them. The statement expressed “our deepest condolences” to those who had lost loved ones. The department initially said Friday that two Americans had died in the attacks.

Really, so now Obama decides to act like a president and offer his condolences? Sorry, but Obama should never and I repeat never have attended a baseball game in Cuba and then danced the night away in Argentina as the ISIS terror attacks ripped through Brussels and murdered Americans.
