Eric Holder & Obama Admin Now Believe Pakistan Taliban Behind Time Square Bomber

After initial Obama White House comments, AG Eric Holder know says that the Pakistan Taliban was behind the Times Square bombing attempt and arrested suspected terrorist Faisal Shahzad. Holder said that, “We know that they helped facilitate it, We know that they probably helped finance it.” How else would the liberal MSM’s down an out man not able to benefit from the American dream, then be able to afford trips back and forth to Pakistan or pull off such a terror attempt?

“We’ve now developed evidence that shows that the Pakistani Taliban was behind the attack,” Holder said during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week.”

Holder’s remarks contrast with what other cabinet secretaries had said last Sunday, when officials had first discovered the attempted attack. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano described the attack as “one off.”

Janet Napolitano: No evidence NYC car bomb ‘anything other than a one-off’

So the Obama Administration finally believes the Taliban were involved, even when they admitted to being so.  Officials said Sunday that new evidence has been discovered that the Pakistani Taliban were behind the failed Times Square bombing.

So you mean not only was the Times Square bomber not a Tea Partier as NYC Mayor Bloomberg ignorantly commented and so many in the liberal MSM had hoped, the terrorist turned out to not be a “one off” and instead linked to Pakistan Taliban. The hell you say, so much for jumping to conclusions.

The White House has been caught flatfooted again trying to play down a terror attempt in the United States as they did with the Christmas Day Undie Bomber and Nidal Hassan the Fort Hood shooting.

“Home grown, maybe a mentally deranged person, some body with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill

As Atlas Shrugs well states, so much for Obama’s Failed Bowing and Scraping Policy to appease those that want to kill us.

Despite the left wing dhimmi media’s losing all credibility after having first broadcast that the Times Square jihadi had to be a tea partier, and then a casualty of Bush’s failed economic policies (4.5% unemployment), the dhimmi media then, when jihad was clearly the motive, said that he was a lone bomber angry at US policies in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have no shame in their contempt for the truth and for their low estimation of the intelligence of the American people.

Remember, Obama”s policy was to partner (nee surrender) to the Taliban, consequently sanctioning their blood lust and barbarity. Despite this, the Taliban told Obama, “there are no moderates or extremists among us.”

How many times are we going to be lucky by a bomb not detonating and people being injured? Luck is not a National Security strategy.

Incumbent Republican Utah Senator Robert Bennett Loses GOP Nomination … Mike Lee & Tim Bridgewater Advance to Primary

Robert Bennett … No Soup for You!

Incumbent Utah Senator Robert Bennett has  lost the GOP nomination. Robert lost the nomination during the second round of voting as he finished in third place. Mike Lee and  Tim Bridgewater will advance to the June 22nd primary.

Sen. Robert Bennett lost his party’s nomination during the second round of voting at the GOP state convention Saturday, making the three-term Senator the first incumbent to fall in this volatile midterm election cycle.

Bennett finished in third place in the crucial second-round vote, garnering just 26 percent of the delegate’s support, well behind Tea Party-backed candidate Mike Lee and businessman Tim Bridgewater, who will advance to the June 22nd primary.

“The political atmosphere obviously has been toxic and it’s very clear that some of the votes I have cast have added to the toxic environment,” Bennett acknowledged in a brief media availability with reporters shortly after he was eliminated in the second round of voting.

The ballot went as follows at the GOP Convention:

Bennett was a distant third in the voting among roughly 3,500 delegates. He garnered just under 27 percent of the vote. Bridgewater had 37 percent and Lee 35 percent.

Bennett is the first incumbent to lose his seat in Washington this year, the victim of a conservative movement angered by rising taxes and the growth of government.

As stated at Conservatives 4 Palin, today’s results are a clear win for Conservatives. In a state as conservative as Utah, there is no reason why a RINO like Robert Bennett should have ever been the Senator.

Let this be a lesson to all Republicans … just because you are in incumbent RINO does not give you a free pass to another term. Hint, Lindsey Graham in SC and Corker & Alexander of TN. If you want to act like a RINO is a predominantly conservative state, you shall face the consequences.

This is not only a humiliating end to Bennett’s career in not being able to make it out of the second round and a victory for conservatives, but also a seminal moment for the Tea Party folks and the establishment GOP.The Tea Party is not for the status quo Republican is shows no qualities of what a GOP candidate is supposed to represent.

This shows that the Tea Party movement isn’t about restoring a Republican status quo.  The movement’s activists want real change, and real action to reverse the growth of government and the profligate spending that has gone on for far too long in Washington DC.  Republican incumbents nationwide should consider this a wake-up call.

In overwhelmingly predominant Republican states Republicans should be very careful to support spending bills like TARP, stimulus bill government spending, new entitlements or any more out of control fool hearty spending.

This is a shot across the bow and a wake up call to Republicans … you best head your voters warnings.

2010 Florida US Senate Race: Crist’s (I) House of Card Poll Lead over Rubio (R) & Meeks (D) … For the Moment

Crist currently ahead in three way race for US Florida Senate seat … don’t bet the farm on this one for Charlie to win.

Well look who has gone into the lead in the recent polls for the Florida US Senate seat in this Novembers midterm elections in 2010. After stabbing the Republican party in the back and lying on TV that he would run as a Republican, Charlie Crist did what most all career politicians do … by upstart Marco Rubio, so Crist jumped ship and tried to save his political career by making the general election a he was being destroyed in the Republican primary three way race.

house-0f-cards_brady-bunch

I think we remember how this one ended …

In a recent Mason-Dixon poll released Thursday, Crist, the so-called Independent Man, was leading in the three way was ahead of Rubio and Meeks; 38% – 32% – 19%.  However, Crist’s lead is nothing more than a “House of Cards”.

The Mason-Dixon poll released Thursday found Crist receiving 38 percent of the vote, compared to 32 percent for the likely Republican nominee, former House Speaker Marco Rubio, and 19 percent for the leading Democratic contender, U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek of Miami. Eleven percent are undecided.

More than half of Crist’s supporters are Democrats, who overwhelmingly approve of his defection from the GOP and recent veto of a controversial teacher tenure bill. Against the lesser-known Miami congressman, who is black, Crist is favored by 19 percent of black voters and 48 percent of Democrats, according to the survey. Meek wins support from 68 percent of black voters and 36 percent of Democrats.

Some times polls can be deceiving and you have to look into the numbers that make up the numbers. Even Rasmussen has Crist ahead presently.

Media Bias: Why Didn’t the MSM Show these Hate and Nazi Signs from May Day PRO-Illegal Protests?

More Media Bias …

We now have three certainties in life … DEATH, TAXES and the MSM will never show a hate or Nazi sign from a liberal protest rally.

nyc_protest_illegals_mazi

Hey look, its en vogue to have a swastika when a Republican is on the sign

And so it was during a May Day pro-illegal immigration in New York City at Union Square over the weekend. Not only were there signs that said “Death to US imperial-fascists” but there were also ones making comparisons to Arizona Governor Jan Brewer to a Nazi. But of course that is ok with the MSM, because Brewer is a Republican.

But the state run main stream media is all to quick to make the comparison with hate, Nazis, swastikas and the Tea Party. However, completely silent when it’s right in front of their face as plain as day at a pro-anti illegal protect.

How typical.

Republican Primary: Salt Lake Tribune Poll Shows Incumbent Bennett Running Third, behind GOP Challengers Mike Lee & Tim Bridgewater.

Looks like Republican incumbent Senator Bob Bennett is in some serious trouble in the run up to the Republican convention that picks the GOP candidate. Bennett is a distant third behind GOP challengers Mike Lee and Tim Bridgewater in a recent Salt Lake Tribune poll.

A new  Salt Lake Tribune  poll of Republican delegates shows Bennett running in third, behind GOP challengers Mike Lee and Tim Bridgewater.

Lee logged 37 percent support in the survey, while Bridgewater came in at 20 percent, and Bennett lagged at 16 percent.

The survey of 400 Republican delegates, with a 4.4 percent margin of error, was conducted April 22-25 by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. of Washington, D.C. It comes less than two weeks before the May 8 state GOP convention.

“Bennett has almost no shot of getting more votes at the convention than Bridgewater and Lee,” Brad Coker, managing director at Mason-Dixon, said Monday.

It is about time that Republicans voters send a message to those individuals that claim to be Republicans. Just because you have an “R” in front of your name, does not a Republican make. A state as conservative as Utah does not need to be represented by a RINO.

Bob Bennett might just become the first sitting Utah senator in seven decades to lose his party’s nomination. Some more fascinating news out of the poll is that most delegates are welcoming the Tea Party.
