Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) Attempts to Add On-Line Internet Poker to Tax Cut Bill
Thank you Nevada for reelecting Harry Reid, all that is wrong with Washington, DC politics … NOT!You had an opportunity to rid this country of Harry Reid, instead you chose the status quo. Well Nevada, here is more of the same …
Harry Reid, simply shameful
Because on-line gambling creates jobs and helps families with their taxes … Unreal what Democrats will do instead of helping “We the People”.
From the man who brought you the smoke-filled, back room deals like the Corn Husker kickback and the Louisiana Purchase II during the passage of Obamacare in the Senate comes Harry Reid’s attempt to attach on-line Internet poker to the current Tax bill. At one time Reid was against on-line poker, that was before he needed casinos support in the last election. Now it appears to be pay back time to the gambling community.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is trying to use the tax cut package President Barack Obama brokered with Republicans to legalize online poker, POLITICO has learned — a move that could further complicate the deal Obama announced Monday.
Already, the online poker proposal has exposed the Nevada Democrat to charges of flip-flopping on a controversial issue, as well as using his Senate leadership position to repay big casino interests that helped him win reelection in a hard-fought campaign against Republican Sharron Angle last month.

Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ): “Negotiating With Republicans Is Almost Like Negotiating With Terrorists” (Video)
Oh that Democrat civility …
No wonder Democrats can’t call it a war on terror and feel the need to treat all Americans in airports like they are terrorists … liberal Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) stated during a press conference that negotiating with Republicans is almost like negotiating with terrorists. Really, it is like negotiating with terrorist, really? Where is the comparison of saying that the GOP is like Nazis or calling them racists as well? How sad that Democrats are more concerned with partisan politics and talking points for 2012 election than the American people and jobs.
Senator Menendez in an over the top partisan manner took aim at Republicans for opposing his party’s plan to extend the Bush-era tax cuts only for the middle class, accusing them of holding the cuts “hostage.” Since when is preventing raising taxes during a recession and a jobless economic recovery a bad thing? A note to the American public, raising taxes on anyone during a recession holds the America economy hostage.
ABC News’ Jonathan Karl reports: Did Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) just compare Republicans to terrorists?
Well, not really. But he did compare negotiating with Republicans to negotiating with terrorists.
At a press conference with fellow Democrats, Menendez lashed out at Republicans for opposing Democratic efforts to extend the Bush tax cuts for the middle class while allowing the tax cuts for the wealthy to expire.
He accused the Republicans of holding middle class tax cuts “hostage” to tax cuts for the wealthy. That’s a common Democratic line, but Menendez took the analogy a step further.
“Do you allow yourself to be held hostage and get something done for the sake of getting something done, when in fact it might be perverse in its ultimate results? It’s almost like the question of do you negotiate with terrorists.”
House Republican Whip Eric Cantor responded, ” Um…No Senator, it is not. Not at all.” How clueless and out of touch could a party be to so trivialize terrorism and how terrorists deal with others. What an offense to the American public. No wonder Democrats suffered massive defeat in the 2010 midterm elections.

What Sacrifice, Barack Obama May Delay Hawaiian Vacation over Tax Increase Battle
Barack Obama … Man of the People, NOT!!!
Talk about a man of the people, President Barack Obama may delay his Hawaiian vacation over the Bush tax cut battle. In a word, what SACRIFICE! Are you serious? While all Americans and business owners have no idea what the tax rates will be beginning 2011, Obama is just considering not delaying a vacation. Most Americans cannot even afford to travel these days, that is if they are lucky enough to still have a job and a home under the Obama White House.
Just a reminder to WE THE PEOPLE, Obama had no problem staying in Washington, DC last year to pass Obamacare.
President Barack Obama is considering at least a short delay to the start of his holiday vacation in Hawaii so he can try to work out a deal with congressional Republicans on the Bush tax cuts that expire December 31, CNN has learned.
Two senior administration officials tell CNN the White House has been getting signals that the lame duck session of Congress could drag on past December 18, when the president is scheduled to depart for Hawaii.
Obama has privately said he is willing to stay in Washington until Christmas Eve if necessary to finish the contentious debate over taxes, the officials said.
While administration officials do not expect that Obama will have to stay in town until Christmas Eve, which he did last year because of health care reform, they believe there could be a delay of at least a couple of days.
Everyone has pretty much figured out where Obama’s priorities are and they are not with jobs, the economy or the people. Far be it from the “little people’s” tax future get in the way of Obama’s golf game.

Nancy Pelosi Plans Big Bash to Celebrate “Accomplishments” like Increasing Spending, Debt and Losing the House
Welcome to the FACEof the Democrat party and the 60+ loss of House seats in the 2010 midterm election … We can obviously see Nancy Pelosi did not get the message of the American voters.
Talk about out of touch, from the Drudge Report, Nancy Pelosi is planning to throw a big bash to celebrate her “accomplishments.” Maybe she would also like to throw a party for herself in trying to become the Democrat House Minority leader? After all, Pelosi is responsible for the Democrats becoming the minority party in the House, why not reward her.
PELOSI PLANNING PARTY FOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Mon Nov 08 2010 16:34:33 ET
Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the United States House of Representatives requests the pleasure of your company at a reception honoring the Accomplishments of the 111th Congress on Wednesday, the tenth day of November, two thousand ten at three thirty in the afternoon Cannon Caucus Room 345 Cannon House Office Building.
The House losses might get even worse for Democrats as the GOP leads in 5 of 9 yet to be called races. In the end, the GOP House pick up might be 65 seats.
CA-11: Democrat Jerry McNerney is up 548 votes, but tens of thousands of mail-in and provisional ballots are still to be counted.
CA-20: Andy Vidak (R), a cherry farms, leads incumbent Jim Costa (D) by 648 votes.
IL-8: Republican Joe Walsh leads by 365 votes over incumbent Melissa Bean (D).
KY-6: County officials affirmed Ben Chandler’s (D) lead. The Lexington Herald-Leader: “U.S. Rep. Ben Chandler, D-Versailles, leads Republican Andy Barr by 649 votes, according to official vote totals from all 16 counties in the 6th Congressional District.
NY-1 (Suffolk County, Long Island): After a voting machine recanvass, Randy Altschuler (R) has taken over the lead from incumbent Tim Bishop (D).
NY-25: Tea Party-backed Ann Marie Buerkle (R) leads Dann Maffei (D) by 684 votes.
TX-27: Solomon Ortiz (D) trails by 799 792 votes with all the votes in. He’s going to request a recount.
VA-11: Gerry Connolly (D) claimed victory for a narrow win. By the way, he was hospitalized for an undisclosed condition.
WA-2: Rick Larsen (D) leads by 3,841 votes, a slight loss of votes from 4,100 after counting in Snohomish County.
The Gateway Pundit reminds us of other great Pelosi accomplishments like helping, along with Obama and Reid, to triple the national debt in one year, see unemployment rise on her watch and lose the House in near record numbers.
EXIT QUESTION … Would Winston Churchill have thrown a party?

New Jersey Governor Christie Calls Out NBC’s David Gregory By Calling Him an Advocate for Democrat Legislation
The below VIDEO is yet just another reason why we like New Jersey Governor Chris Christie so much. Christie calls it like he sees it no matter what the MSM, liberals, Democrats or unions think. This weekend Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) called out “Meet the Press” host David Gregory by stating he was an advocate for the democrats.
What a shock, a MSM type being a shill for Democrats, say it isn’t so.
