Colin Kaepernick Being Investigated for a Possible Sexual Assault, Also Ricardo Lockette & Quinton Patton Under Investigation (Police Report) … Could This be the Next Black Eye for the NFL? (Update: Kaepernick Responds in Tweets)
San Francisco 49er QB Colin Kaepernick may be the latest to commit an off the field personal foul.
Colin Kaepernick is being investigated for a possible sexual assault in Miami at the Viceroy Hotel on Brickell Avenue, as his name was connected with a sexual assault police report with the Miami Police Department. The incident is supposed to have occurred on April 1, 2014 when the unnamed woman went to the apartment of Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette, who played for the 49ers in 2012. Also at the apartment was Kaepernick and 49ers wide receiver Quinton Patton.
Thursday was not full of good news for Colin Kaepernick, as his name was connected with a sexual assault information report with the City of Miami Police Department.
The news first surfaced via TMZ.com, who cited law enforcement sources that told them Kaepernick was being investigated for a possible sexual assault.
A Miami police spokesperson told CBSSports.com that police are following up on an information report that involves the 49ers quarterback.
In that report, a copy of which was obtained by CBSSports.com, a woman, whose name is redacted, states that on April 1, she went to the apartment of Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette, who played for the 49ers in 2012. At the apartment were Kaepernick and 49ers wide receiver Quinton Patton.
The woman states that the group “talked for a while and she mixed some drinks for all of them and gave them shots.” The woman states “they told her in order to drink the shots she had to ‘hit’ the bong which contained marijuana.”
The woman states she “started to feel lightheaded and went to a bedroom to lay down.” She says she “took off her jacket and jewelry” at which point “Mr. Kaepernick came behind her into the bedroom and started kissing her.”
She “advised that Mr. Kaepernick started to undressed [sic] her” and that “she got completely naked.”
At that point she claims Kaepernick left the bedroom and that “they did not have sex.” At that point in time, the woman claims Patton and Lockette “peeked” into the room and she yelled “What are you doing? Where’s Colin? Get out!”

The woman also claims she has had a sexual relationship with Kaepernick in the past.
While cops only described the situation as a “suspicious incident” — it’s clear they are investigating an alleged sex crime, due to the fact the case was referred to the Special Victim’s Office, which handles sex crimes.
The woman’s name was redacted from the police report (which is usually done to protect the accuser in a sex-related crime) … but she was described as a “black” woman.
UPDATE I: The 49ers released a statement saying, “The 49ers organization is aware of the recent media report regarding Colin Kaepernick and is in the process of gathering the pertinent facts.”

UPDATE III: Colin Kaepernick Responds … Says TMZ Is ‘Wrong!’, QB Tweets About Miami Police ‘Suspicious Incident’ Investigation.
Twitter: Colin Kaepernick – @Kaepernick7
49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is taking to social media to respond to a police incident report naming him as a “suspect” in a suspicious incident, and responding to stories on TMZ that continue to refer to it as a “sexual assault” investigation.
Kaepernick writes in three tweets, “The charges made in the TMZ story and other stories I’ve seen are completely wrong. They make things up about me that never happened.”
The next tweet reads, “I take great pride in who I am and what I do, but I guess sometimes you have to deal with someone who makes things up.”
The third tweet, “I want to thank all of the people who have shared their encouraging sentiments. I assure you that your faith is not misplaced.”

UCONN HUSKIES … BEST IN SHOW!!! UCONN Huskies Win Mens College Backetball Championship 60-54 over the Kentucky Wildcats
UCONN HUSKIES … BEST IN SHOW!!!
#7 seed University of Connecticut Huskies defeat the #8 seed Kentucky Wildcats, 60-54 …
UCONN guard Shabazz Napier was the best player on the court tonight as he lead the Huskies to a 60-54 victory over Kentucky and its five starting freshmen before 79,238 at AT&T Stadium in North Texas. The UCONN backcourt of Napier and Ryan Boatright were in control the whole way as the Huskies never trailed. Napier had 22 points and six rebounds. Boatright had 14 points and three assists. In the end, the more mature, fundamentally sound UCONN Huskies defeated the Kentucky Wildcat “one and doners”. Not to mention free throw shooting killed Kentucky. It was the 4th Men’s basketball championship, adding to their school titles in 1999, 2004 and 2011. Shabazz Napier was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four.
Shabazz Napier turned in another all-court masterpiece Monday night to lift the Huskies to a 60-54 win over Kentucky’s freshmen and a national title hardly anyone saw coming.
Napier had 22 points, six rebounds and three assists, and his partner in defensive lock-down, Ryan Boatright, finished with 14 points.
UConn (32-8) never trailed. The Huskies led by as many as 15 in the first half and watched the Wildcats (29-11) trim the deficit to one with 8:13 left. But Aaron Harrison, Kentucky’s big-moment shooter in the last three games, missed a 3-pointer from the left corner that would’ve given the `Cats the lead. Kentucky never got closer.
One key difference in a six-point loss: Kentucky’s 11 missed free throws — a flashback of sorts for coach John Calipari, whose Memphis team blew a late lead against Kansas after missing multiple free throws in the 2008 final. The Wildcats went 13 for 24. UConn went 10 for 10, and when Lasan Kromah made his last two with 25.1 seconds left for a six-point margin, the celebration was on.
In all, Calipari’s One and Doners got outdone by a more fundamentally sound, more-seasoned group that came into this tournament a seventh-seeded afterthought but walked away with the program’s fourth national title since 1999. They were the highest seed to win it all since Rollie Massimino’s eighth-seeded Villanova squad in 1985.
MARCH MADNESS, Sore Losers Edition … University of Arizona Students Riot & Rampage After Wildcats Lose to Wisconsin Badgers in Elite 8, 15 Arrested on Charges of Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest & Unlawful Assembly
College students behaving badly … Today’s lesson, there are consequences to foolish actions and … it’s just a game!
Following the University of Arizona’s loss to the Wisconsin Badgers in OT, 64-63, hundreds of individuals filled the streets and many fans went on a violent rampage throwing battled and firecrackers. As reported at the Tucson Sentinel, after what TPD Sgt. Pete Dugan called a “reasonable amount of time,” officers told the crowd that they would be arrested if they remained. Instead of disbursing, the fans threw beer bottles and firecrackers at the officers. Police responded with pepper spray, canisters and balls at the large crowd. The crowds can be heard in the video below chanted “police brutality” during the clash with police officers. In the end, 15 people were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and unlawful assembly.
Some fans went on an angry rampage, lobbing bottles and firecrackers outside the University of Arizona late on Saturday after the school’s basketball team narrowly lost to the University of Wisconsin in an NCAA tournament game, police said.
Tucson police in riot gear used pepper spray on the unruly crowd and arrested 15 people on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and unlawful assembly, a police statement said.
Three of those arrested suffered minor injuries, police said. Rioters threw bottles and other objects at police and their vehicles but no officers were hurt. Police said hundreds of people filled the streets after the game, but it was not clear how many were involved in the melee.

The Left & Blacks Become Unhinged Over Lakers Kobe Bryant’s Comments on Trayvon Martin Case … He Doesn’t Support Defending Someone Just Because They are Black
The NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant is about to feel the wrath of what happens when you do not go along with the “black/left” company line …
In an interview with The New Yorker, Kobe Bryant discussed his reaction to when members of the Miami Heat wore “hoodies” in Trayvon Martin’s memory saying he admitted he’s not comfortable with the idea of being compelled to defend someone just because they’re black. Trayvon Martin was the black teen who was shot and killed by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman. After a long, divisive and contentious trial, Zimmerman was found “not guilty” of murder. Although the part of the interview that discusses the Trayvon Martin passages are only available to subscribers, the money lines were reprinted at The Blaze and Mediaite.
Discussing the divisive Trayvon Martin case in an interview with The New Yorker, NBA star Kobe Bryant said he doesn’t support defending someone just because they are black.
He appeared to be referring to the aftermath of the shooting death of Martin. Many people and political commentators seemingly rushed to assume George Zimmerman was guilty of murder before a trial ever occurred. One of the topics discussed was how members of the Miami Heat wore hoodies in Martin’s memory two years ago.
“I won’t react to something just because I’m supposed to, because I’m an African-American. That argument doesn’t make any sense to me,” Bryant said. “So we want to advance as a society and a culture, but, say, if something happens to an African-American we immediately come to his defense? Yet you want to talk about how far we’ve progressed as a society? Well, we’ve progressed as a society, then don’t jump to somebody’s defense just because they’re African-American. You sit and you listen to the facts just like you would in any other situation, right? So I won’t assert myself.”
Who knew Kobe Bryant was a racist? [sarcasm intended].
And the Left & Blacks expressed their outrage on Twitter for one black man’s opinion that color should not be the issue, the facts should. Hmm, you mean support for Trayvon was not racial solidarity, Really? It was a tragic set of events where two people should have never crossed paths, but everything about the George Zimmerman – Trayvon martin case was racial, down the the media doctoring 911 tapes and Zimmerman being referred to as a “white” Hispanic. And there is nothing racial when the Revs. Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson are on the scene. Add the NBPP as well putting a bounty on Zimmerman’s head. Yup, no racial solidarity before a JURY SPOKE WHAT-SO-EVER.
UPDATE I: Kobe Bryant Responds To Backlash Over Controversial Trayvon Martin Comments.
I guess if Barack Obama had a son, it would not be Kobe Bryant.

A Lesson This Hockey Fan Will Hoepfully Never Forget .. Why It’s Not a Good Idea to Bang on the Glass with Players Near
This should be a lesson to children and adults alike … banging on the glass at a Hockey game has it’s consequences.
A Hockey fan was at a Columbus Blue Jackets and Montreal Canadiens NHL game on Thursday pounding on the plexiglass when … well just watch for yourself and enjoy the many extra angles and close-up replays. Of course in this day and age of over-litigious actions, look for the parents to sue for assault. We do hope the kid was okay and remember, stay away from the glass.
