THE FANS # 1 Player … Alejandro Villanueva, the One Steeler Who Stood for Anthem Now Has Best-Selling NFL Jersey

WAKE THE HELL UP NFL … LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ONE PLAYER WHO ACTUALLY STOOD FOR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM

Wanna know what a real hero and patriot looks like? Prior the the game on Sunday at of all places Soldier Field in Chicago, Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Alejandro Villanueva decided to honor his team, his military band of brothers in arms, rather than a sports team, and stood for the National Anthem in the tunnel. This is what a hero looks like. Standing by yourself as all others act like sheep. The result of his heroic and respectful actions, his jersey became the best-selling player in the NFL by midday Monday. Talk about putting things in perspective. Alejandro Villanueva was criticized by his coach and by some players by not doing what the rest of the team voted on. However, this man, this former Army Ranger who earned a Bronze Star and served three tours in Afghanistan served with a much more important team. It was that TEAM who defend and protect our way of life. NFL fans get it, sadly the NFL, owners and the players do not. When an offensive lineman’s jersey becomes the #1 seller ahead of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, what does that tell you NFL?

The NFL better get their act in gear and soon, otherwise you will be dead to many of us fans forever.

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Alejandro Villanueva became the best-selling player in the NFL by midday Monday.

A spokesman for Fanatics, which runs the NFL’s online store, confirmed to ESPN that, over the past 24 hours, more Villanueva gear, including jerseys and name and number T-shirts, has been ordered than that of any other NFL player.

Villanueva beat out New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for the top spot. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers rounded out the top five over the past day.

Both the NFL Shop and Fanatics websites had Villanueva jerseys and T-shirts in men’s and women’s sizes.

A former Army Ranger who earned a Bronze Star and served three tours in Afghanistan, Villanueva was the only Steelers player who came outside the tunnel during Sunday’s national anthem, after the team collectively decided not to be on the sideline during the song. Pictures and video of Villanueva standing, with his hand on his heart, filled social media networks.

His actions weren’t supported by all, including his own coach. Asked after the Steelers’ 23-17 loss to the Chicago Bears what he thought of Villanueva’s positioning for the anthem, Mike Tomlin responded, “I was looking for 100 percent participation. We were gonna be respectful of our football team.”

The NFL is about to learn a real tough lesson and that is they are not bigger that the United States. Their players are not heroes, those that defend our freedoms are. Their players are not role models, they are over-paid, spoiled millionaires who doesn’t have a clue as to what true sacrifice means. Americans and fans know the difference. The NFL is entertainment, not politics. It is supposed to be a diversion away from division and hateful politics. Thank you so little for ruining it. You could have nipped this in the bud last year, but the coward NFL commissioner was too busy with over-infalted balls and the owners were too busy hiding and making money.

Former 49ers NFL QB Colin Kaepernick Compares Cops to Fugitive Slave Patrols

DOES ANY ONES REALLY WONDER WHY KAEPERNICK DOES NOT HAVE A JOB IN THE NFL?

Kaepernick just does not know when to shut up. NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick stated following the acquittal of a police officer in the shooting death of a black motorist that police officers should be compared to fugitive slave patrolmen. WHAT? And he wonders why no NFL team has signed him? A note to ESPN’s uber-lib Max Kellermen who last week demonized the NFL by playing the National Anthem as being political, who’s is being political Max? A jury of twelve individuals cleared Officer Jeronimo Yanez of all charges connected to his July shooting of Castile, a black man. Yanez shot Castile seven times in the presence of his girlfriend and daughter after pulling him over because Castile reportedly fit the description of a robbery suspect.

As opined at IJR, he has no team, but Colin Kaepernick isn’t finished stirring up trouble and now he is still going after cops. They stated, “One would think that, with his career on the line, Kaepernick might tone down the political rhetoric — particularly the more inflammatory statements, but one would be wrong”. Kaepernick has the freedom of speech to say what he wishes and the NFL teams and their owners also have the rights to avoid this distraction like the plague.

Just how lazy could one really be in their thinking.

Colin Kapernick2

NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick compared police officers to fugitive slave patrolmen after a Minnesota officer was acquitted in the shooting death of a black motorist.

Kaepernick tweeted his displeasure with the verdict, with a graphic reading “You can’t ignore your history – always remember who they are.”

Between the lines, a police badge is shown side-by-side with a “fugitive slave patrol” badge.

ESPN Host Max Kellerman Says NFL Injects Politics ‘By Playing The National Anthem’ (VIDEO)

EVER WONDER WHY ESPN IS HEMORRHAGING VIEWERSHIP AND LAYOFFS ARE A PLENTY … LOOK TO NOTHING MORE THAN THEIR LIBERAL AGENDA.

On Thursday, ESPN “First Take” co-host Max Kellerman said during the show that the NFL injects politics “by playing the national anthem and putting pressure on you to stand for it.” WHAT? You think the playing of the American National Anthem is political? Dude, stick to sports as you know nothing of what you speak. So you don’t think that Kaepernick went looking for a protest? I will call you on your bullshit. Maybe you would like to read the reason why he did so, “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.” His protest was thought out and contrived. Of course he went looking for a protest. You doofus, Kaepernick even stated as much. He was protesting Black Lives Matters. Dear Max, before you spout off with your liberal BS and diarrhea of the mouth, maybe you would like to do some research? But then again, liberals don’t care much about the facts.

As for Max Kellerman, you are an ignorant little man. Sadly, you are a microcosm of what ESPN has become and the reason why the once leader in sports entertainment is nothing more than a joke. ESPN long ago forgot what drove it, SPORTS! Not the liberal agenda they try and spew like the rest of the MSM. ESPN, like MTV a long time ago, has lost its way. If one thinks that the actual playing of the national anthem is interjecting politics into sport, then God help you. One might say Max, that you are they one and your ilk at ESPN who are interjecting politics into sports.

ESPN “First Take” co-host Max Kellerman said during Thursday morning’s show that the NFL injects politics “by playing the national anthem and putting pressure on you to stand for it.”

Kellerman said that neither Ali nor Kaepernick went looking for a protest. The protest came looking for them.

“He was asked to stand for the national anthem,” Kellerman said. “You do not have to stand for the national anthem, and even if it was a rule that you did, is that Colin Kaepernick injecting politics into the NFL? No, that’s the NFL injecting politics.”

“I’m very patriotic. I stand for the national anthem proudly,” Kellerman added. “The reason I am patriotic is because you do not have to stand for the national anthem.”

espn-fail

And a note to Stephen A. Smith, no one deserves a job. They earn one. It takes more than just talent to play in the NFL. No organization wants a player who thinks they are bigger than the team, who would demand more attention than the team, more media attention and becomes nothing more than a 3-ring circus. Sorry, whether you are the NFL or any corporation, that us the case. Unless you have a lot to offer a team, be very important and are not a pariah, that is the only way you would have a job. But make no mistake about it, no one deserves a job.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Says of Colin Kaepernick’s Protesting During National Anthem … “I Think It’s Dumb and Disrespectful”

It just goes to show you that those on the Left and Right can agree on some things

In an interview with Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric, liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg stated that Colin Kaepernick’s protest during the national anthem and those that do the same as “dumb and disrespectful.” She went on to say that it isn’t a crime to protest the National Anthem and no one should ever be arrested for doing so, but she opined, “I would point out how ridiculous it seems to me to do such an act.” Needless to say, Ginsburg, a darling of the LEFT, has upset the unhinged Left with her comments.

It is rather remarkable that some one on the LEFT like Justice Ginsburg would have such an opinion like this but we have to remember … there used to be a time on the Left where liberals actually liked and respected America. The Democrat party used to be for the working, blue color people, not the socialist party that it has turned into today.

In “My Own Words,” a new compilation of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s writings over the course her lifetime, the vim and vigor that she is famous for expressing from the Supreme Court bench is just as apparent in her high school editorials.

Ginsburg has spent decades weighing in on issues most important to her — such as gender and religion — and in a new interview with Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric, she did not mince words when weighing in on the current election, the state of the court and controversy surrounding the national anthem.

With more and more football players across the country refusing to stand for the national anthem before games, Justice Ginsburg called the protest “dumb and disrespectful.”

When asked by Couric how she feels about San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, and others athletes, refusing to stand for the anthem, Ginsburg replied, “I think it’s really dumb of them.”

“Would I arrest them for doing it? No,” Ginsburg elaborated. “I think it’s dumb and disrespectful. I would have the same answer if you asked me about flag burning. I think it’s a terrible thing to do, but I wouldn’t lock a person up for doing it. I would point out how ridiculous it seems to me to do such an act.”
