Barack Obama to Redouble Effort on Core Principles … The Principles Rejected By American Voters

Barack Obama plans to double down, right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook …

President Barack Hussein Obama learned nothing from the 2010 midterm elections and told reporters on his way back from his 10 day failure trip overseas that he had an “obsessive focus” on policy and he will now “redouble” efforts to get back to his core principles. UNREAL.

En route back to Washington after a 10-day trip overseas, President Obama was introspective about his first two years in office.  The president told reporters aboard Air Force One that he had an “obsessive focus” on policy and he will now “redouble” efforts to get back to his core principles.

Obama said he “neglected” things that matter a lot to Americans in his rush to get major legislation passed. He explained those things as maintaining a bipartisan tone, dealing with earmarks, making sure that policy decisions are fully debated and shaping public opinion.  He can better focus on these principals now, the president explained, because the economy is more stable.

The president plans to meet with Congressional leadership this week and said he expects that even though his party lost badly in the midterm election, Republicans will work with him to get things done.

“I am very confident that the American people were not issuing a mandate for gridlock,” Obama said. “They want to see us make progress.”

Redouble his core principles of what, socialism? By the way Barack, the voters actually did vote overwhelmingly to block your agenda if you have yet to figure it out. Obviously the Kamikaze Democrat Congress and President has yet to figure that out.

They will in 2012.

Redouble what exactly? Everything the One has done has either been a resounding flop or has been rejected by We the People. Because Obama did such a fantastic job on his 10 day trip overseas, NOT. As stated at Hot Air, Obama’s trip so so bad that even the LEFT and the RIGHT found common ground … the G-20 Conference was not only a failure, it was a net negative.

MSNBC Host Lawrence O’Donnell Admitts, “I am a Socialist” … Really, Who Would Have Thunk It?

Following the 2012 Midterm elections and the “shellacking” they received, the LEFT is losing their minds. It would appear that they noe feel there is no need to hide the truth … MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell admitted  … “I am a socialist”.

The truth shall set you free Lawrence, however, as the Gateway Pundit stated, so you are a socialist, “now tell us some thing we don’t know”.

UPDATE I: From Salon … self proclaimed socialist Lawrence O’Donnell now denied his own words. Wtach are you going to believe, O’Donnell’s words or your lies eyes and ears?

O’Donnell repeatedly insisted that I had attributed to him views that he did not actually express, and several times repeated that he said none of what I criticized him for saying; after the segment, he continued spouting that same accusation.  As I told him both during the segment and after, only the transcript will resolve that question, and — as I’ll demonstrate in a moment — it does.  First, here is the entirety of what I wrote about his remarks:

Newsweek Poll Says Obama Approval Rating Jumps Over 50% & Democrats Close ‘Enthusiasm Gap’ … Wanna Bet!

Oh yeah, this is believable …

The Democrat state run liberal media outlet Newsweek states in their most recent poll that Barack Obama’s approval rating at 54%. Newsweek also claims that the enthusiasm gap has narrowed as well. So when all else fails and Democrats are on the verge of colossal losses in the 2010 midterm elections, as also stated at Hot Air, the Obama media just makes up self-serving polls. This favorable Obama and Democrat poll brought to you by the same people who said … We Are All Socialists Now.”

Despite doom-saying about Democrats’ chances in the midterms, the latest NEWSWEEK Poll (full results) shows that they remain in a close race with Republicans 12 days before Election Day, while the president’s approval ratings have climbed sharply. The poll finds that 48 percent of registered voters would be more likely to vote for Democrats, compared with 42 percent who lean Republican (those numbers are similar to those in the last NEWSWEEK Poll, which found Democrats favored 48 percent to 43 percent). President Obama’s approval ratings have jumped substantially, crossing the magic halfway threshold to 54 percent, up from 48 percent in late September, while the portion of respondents who disapprove of the president dropped to 40 percent, the lowest disapproval rating in a NEWSWEEK Poll since February 2010.

The far fetched poll can be seen here.

Maybe Big Bird can Help out Newsweek

The Newsweek joke poll could never bee more evident than going to Real Clear politics to see the polling averages of numerous polls on Obama job approval and the Congressional Generic ballot. Obama has an average approval rating of 46.3% and a disapproval of 48.3%. Reviewing the polling data, reminds me a a Sesame Street skit of one of these things doesn’t belong here. The same thing can be said regarding the Congressional Generic ballot, Newsweek is the only poll that does not have a GOP lead let alone a  double digit lead for the GOP.

Hard to believe the bias Newsweek poll when the Rasmussen Presidential index is at -19% and 45% approval, 54% disapproval rating.  More polling data is posted at Wake Up America that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Newsweek poll is an outlier. So this is what the LEFT has been reduced to, making up contrived polling data to provide the perception that Democrats are gaining ground in the polls. The the state rum media propagandists stop at nothing?

Christine O’Donnell (R) Hammers the Bearded Marxist Coons (D) … “I Would Argue That More People Would Support My Catholic Faith Than His Marxist Beliefs”

2010 DELEWARE US SENATE ELECTION: Christine O’Donnell (R) vs. Chris Coons (D)

During last nights Delaware US Senate debate, Republican candidate Christine O’Donnell nailed the self proclaimed “bearded Marxist,” Democrat Chris Coons.

“I would argue that more people would support my Catholic beliefs than his Marxist beliefs.”

Hat Tip: Gateway Pundit

Chris Coons tried to pass off the “bearded Marxist” reference as a joke. Really, it was a joke, does not seem to be? O’Donnell in turn during the debate called Coons a Marxist. Well if the shoe fits candidate Coons. What a shock, another Democrat running against what they really believe and stand for as the liberal MSM allows them to without question. Coons called himself a capitalist during the debate. We might want to have him define the word.

A feisty, aggressive Ms. O’Donnell called Mr. Coons a Marxist whose beliefs came from a socialist professor and said he would “rubber stamp” the policies of the Democrats in Washington. Mr. Coons raised questions about whether Ms. O’Donnell’s faith would drive her positions on social issues like abortion, prayer and evolution.

Pressed by CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, Ms. O’Donnell refused to say whether she believed evolution was a myth, saying that “what I believe is irrelevant.” As she did throughout the first half of the debate, Ms. O’Donnell quickly tried to return the focus to Mr. Coons, saying, “I would argue there are more people who support my Catholic faith than his Marxist belief.”

If you watched the debate you could clearly see the media bias and that the moderators were in the tank for the Marxist Coons. One of the best comments of the evening was when O’Donnell showed the MSM bias and double standard when she stated that her comments made in the past on a comedy show, yet Coon’s comments of studying under a Marxist made him become a DDemocrat. So Coons’ comments are a joke, yet what a candidate said on a comedy show is not the same? Hmm?

What a sad commentary, as O’Donnell trails in the polls,  that Delaware would vote into the US Senate an Obama rubber stamp and a lap dog for Harry Reid. Then again, you get exactly what you vote for. Too bad that Harry Reid will not be there after the midterm election.
