What is This World Coming To? 84-year-old Georgie Audean Buoy Charged with Sexual Abuse

Some stories just make your jaw drop and scratch your head. How does a “rosy-cheeked 80 + year old church volunteer with a penchant for gardening and a reputation for kindness” do the unthinkable with an 11-year-old boy in her foster care? Georgie Audean Buoy was charged with attempted sexual assault of an 11 year old foster child in her care.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — An 84-year-old woman who confessed to having sex with an 11-year-old boy in her foster care reached a deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty Thursday to attempted sex abuse, officials said.

Georgie Audean Buoy will serve 36 months in prison, said Leslie Wolf, chief deputy district attorney for Wasco County. She was originally charged with six counts, including attempted rape, for which she faced eight years in prison, Wolf said.

She was given a plea deal due to her age and no previous record. That’s it? No previous record, huh? Is it possible that maybe she was just never caught before? We will go out on a limb and state that she probably caused more psychological damage than that fine will cover.

She must register as a sex offender after serving her sentence at a women’s prison, and must pay $5,000 to the victim, as well as up to $7,500 in restitution for counseling.

Wonder if the same sentence would have applied if Georgie was named George instead?

John Couey Trial Begins today in the Kidnapping, Rape & Murder of Jessica Lunsford

Try as they might, the defence attorneys of John Evander Couey attempted to prevent this day from occurring. Today is the beginning of the end of John Couey. You are not going to believe the comment that John Couey made regarding how people feel about him. Even more amazing is The Tampa Tribune’s attempt to make excuses for Couey and portray him as societies victim.

Jessica Lunsford is the Victim … Not Couey. Hopefully this jury will put us and Couey out of his misery once and for all. Read the full story and bizarre comments at Missing & Exploited.
