Barack Obama Campaign Bundler Noah Bryson Mamet Nominated as Ambassador to Argentina Even Though Has Never Been to the Country or Speak Spanish

What a joke, Don’t Cry for Me Argentina … Obama Style. What else would you expect from a community organizer and a “Campaigner in Chief”?

Remember when Barack Obama campaigned that he was going to change the way things were done inside the Belt Way? Well you can forget that as Barack Obama is rewarding one of his campaign blunders with an ambassadorship to Argentina. Noah Bryson Mamet bundled more than $500,000 for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign and is now being rewarded for his fundraising. There is just one problem, the man who is supposed to represent the United states in Argentina has never been to the country. UNBELIEVABLE. One would think, as echoed at Slate, with the current state of affairs in Argentina, “delicate times, probably opportune times for a diplomat with years logged in South America”.

The Buenos Aires Herald reports, Mamet, who would be replacing Vilma Martínez after her term ended on July 4, is a veteran Democratic fund-raiser and consultant who has no evident experience with Latin American issues.

Presidents often award diplomatic posts to campaign donors and fundraisers, but Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., suspects that Obama’s choice of ambassador to Argentina — a man who bundled more than $500,000 for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, but who has never been to the country — is in over his head.

“Have you been to Argentina?” Rubio asked Noah Mamet during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing Thursday.

“I haven’t had the opportunity yet to be there,” Mamet replied. “I’ve traveled pretty extensively around the world, but I haven’t yet had a chance [to visit Argentina].”

Rubio implied that Argentina is too important a country to be entrusted to a campaign donor rather than a professional, as is the case with some other diplomatic posts. “I don’t view this appointment as one — I think this is a very significant post,” he said.

UPDATE I: This nomination by Barack Obama gets worse, if possible. In the VIDEO below the US State Department spokesperson does not even know if the nominee for the position to be an Ambassador in a Latin American country speaks Spanish. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!  How could you not know this? Is it any wonder how the Hillary Clinton lead State Department botched Benghazi?

CNN/ORC Poll: NJ Governor Chris Christie Leads Possible 2016 GOP Contenders … Not Only is it Way too Early, Don’t Count On It Christie

A new CNN poll has New Jersey governor Chris Christie as the front-runner of possible Republican contenders for the 2016 GOP presidential nominee. For the Democrats it would appear that Hillary Clinton is already being coronated their nominee. However, for the GOP not only is this poll way too early, I would doubt that Chris Christie will be the Republican nominee unless they plan on losing another presidential election. Polls at this point are merely a popularity contest and with Christie’s recent landslide win for governor in NJ against a no-name opponent, he just happens to be the cause-celeb for today.

There is a long, long way to go and the potential winner for the GOP may not have even come forward yet. The same could be said for Democrats as well. Wasn’t Hillary Clinton the presumptive Democrat nominee winner as well before a certain novice, unprepared, 2 year US Senator from Illinois named Obama got into the race?

Who actually thinks the GOP base would vote for Christie after this?

And according to a CNN/ORC International survey, if Hillary Clinton decides against making another bid for the White House, Vice President Joe Biden would be the initial favorite to capture the Democratic nomination.

The poll, released Friday morning, indicates that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, fresh off his Garden State re-election landslide victory and widespread national media attention, jumped to the top of the pack of potential contenders for the GOP nomination.

Twenty-four percent of Republicans and independents who lean towards the GOP questioned in the survey say they’d be likely to support Christie for the Republican nomination, up seven percentage points from a CNN poll in early September. Back then, Christie and Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, the House Budget chairman and the 2012 Republican vice presidential nominee, were virtually tied at the top of the GOP list, with Christie at 17% and Ryan at 16%.

But Ryan, who’s stayed mostly away from the political spotlight the past few months, has dropped to 11%, putting him in third place, slightly behind Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, at 13%. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, who like Paul has made multiple trips this year to the states that kick off the presidential primary and caucus calendar, like Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, stands at 10% in the survey, the only other Republican White House hopeful to get double-digit support.

Sorry, but a win in New Jersey is hardly a microcosm of winning a primary in the Republican party or a national election. New Jersey is it’s own animal, much like every state is.  Much of the GOP base considered Chris Christie a “Benedict Arnold” when he went overboard gushing over Barack Obama after Hurricane Sandy, sabotaging any chance Mitt Romney may have had. The GOP have run two ‘RINO’s’ in a row, the “mavericky” John McCain in 2008 and Mitt “Romneycare” Romney in 2012. Both candidates alienated the GOP base and in the end, really stood for nothing, except they ere not Obama. At what point will the establishment Republicans understand that the GOP electorate wants a candidate with substance and is not Democrat-light?

The focus this last week should have been on Obama’s shameful conduct in Benghazi. Instead, the  schizophrenic Christie allowed himself to be manipulated by Obama’s camp so easily, that one has to question the reasoning for his desertion of Governor Romney. I believe the egomaniacal Christie would rather run for POTUS in 2016 than 2020. And chose to spend the last week  stabbing Mitt in the back.

I understand that Christie had to ”break bread” with Obama when Obama came to tour New Jersey for disaster relief for Hurricane Sandy. We all should be fine with that.  But after Obama left, Christie has continued to act ”star-struck” toward the liberal Democrat. Both men are frequent apologizers for Islam so that may also be a shared bond.

And Christie refused an invitation to attend a  Sunday night rally with Mr. Romney in Pennsylvania, only 20 minutes from Trenton. You can google Benedict Arnold/Chris Christie or Traitor Chris Christie and see that the internet is abuzz with  stories about how Christie the RINO has been selling out to Obama.

Sarah Palin Says Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) Should be Primaried for their Support of the Senate’s Immigration (Amnesty) Bill

Actions have consequences and Elephants have long memories …

As reported at Breitbart.com, Sarah Pain “Throws Down Gauntlet” and ’stated that U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) should be primaried in 2016 for their support for the Senate’s Democrat lead Amnesty Immigration bill. I agree 100% and that goes for any Republican in the Senate or House that supports amnesty, breaking the rule of law and allowing individuals who entered the United States illegally more rights than law abiding Americans. Sadly, being inside the beltway in Washington, DC  corrupts the best of them. Rubio and Ayotte are just two of the most recent to lose their way and forget the promises they made to get elected. I idea that Republicans would fall for the same BS bill 1986 under Ronald Reagan is simply astonishing. One that never enforced the borders, even though the bill promised to. The difference, Reagan stated it was one of the biggest mistakes he ever made, these two clowns along with other GOP Senators are embracing it as if Lucy is actually not going to pull the football out from Charlie Brown as be goes to kick it. Palin and the Conservative base are going to make examples out of the Judas’ in 2014 and 2016.

“Conservatives are getting ready for the 2014 and 2016 primaries. We have long memories, and there will be consequences for those who break campaign promises and vote for this amnesty bill,” Palin told Breitbart News.

“Competition makes everyone work harder, be better, and be held accountable. This applies to politics, too. No one is ‘entitled’ to anything.”

She continued, “Rigorous debate in competitive primaries allows candidates the opportunity to explain their flip-flops. So think of contested primaries as a win-win for politicians and their voters.”

Palin responded to Breitbart News’s request for comment about an interview she did earlier on Tuesday with John Gibson on Fox News radio in which she said Rubio and Ayotte “turned their back” on voters and should be primaried to be held accountable. Rubio and Ayotte will be up for reelection in 2016.

Sarah Palin went on to say that politicians need to be held accountible for their actions and the promises they made to get elected. Palin said Rubio had promised that “border security would come first,” and he would not support “legalization of illegal immigrants” and “amnesty” before border security. What a difference an ego makes. Boy that didn’t take long for Rubio to learn the back-stabbing, lying ways of Washington. Sarah Palin said in her interview with John Gibson, that one time I did say good things about Marco Rubio as I thought he was an honest politician. Well, we all know better now.

She said Ayotte, whom she endorsed, had on her campaign website in 2010 that there were “no excuses” not to secure the border and also said she would not support amnesty.

As for Rubio, you have lost my vote forever.

John McCain Apologizes to Senators Rand Paul & Ted Cruz for ‘wacko birds’ Comment

Mavericky Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) apologized for his  ‘wacko birds’ comment that he made toward Sens. Rand Paul and Ted Cruz for their outspoken brand of politicking on the Hill. The long time Arizona senator and failed GOP Presidential candidate took exception to the fact that he has been passed by the young Turks. What McCain might finally be realizing is that Paul and Cruz represent a breath of fresh air for the GOP Senate and what the GOP base wants to embrace, not Democrat light. During CPAC 2013, Rand Paul took the opportunity to slap back at McCain and said “the GOP of old has grown stale and moss-covered.” Whether McCain’s apology was sincere, who knows. However, one thing is for certain … the balance of power is being to shift in the GOP Senate and is moving away from the failed establishment senators and more toward the new brand of  Republican Senators like Rand Paul (KY), Ted Cruz (TX), Marco Rubio (FL), Jeff Flake (AZ) and Pat Tommey (PA).

Sen. John McCain is apologizing for calling Sens. Rand Paul and Ted Cruz “wacko birds” and says he respects what his Senate colleagues stand for.

“[In] an interview I said that Sen. Cruz and Sen. Paul were ‘wacko birds.’ That was inappropriate and I apologize to them for saying that, and I respect them both. I respect what they stand for and what they believe in. They both made an impact out here in the United States Senate,” McCain (R-Ariz.) said on Fox News on Friday.

McCain at some point best realize that his days are behind him and that he is on the wrong side of the future of the Republican party. Of he wants to make such criticisms he might as well pull an Arlen Specter  or Charlie Crist and switch parties.

Two Young GOP Superstars Finish One, Two … Rand Paul wins CPAC 2013 Straw Poll with 25%, Marco Rubio Places Second at 23%

THIS TIME THE CPAC STRAW POLL JUST MIGHT HAVE CORRECTLY PICKED THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES …

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul won the CPAC 2013 straw poll with 25% of the vote. Florida Senator Marco Rubio finished a close second at 23%. Nearly 3,000 votes were cast by attendees at the three day conference held at a hotel just outside of Washington, DC in which the straw poll is considered one way to gauge where the conservative base stands on potential Republican nominees. Rand Paul had earlier wowed the crowd at CPAC.

Although it is far too premature to determine a front runner for the GOP for the 2016 Presidential election, what is apparent is that the two young Turk superstars of the Republican party were at the forefront of this straw poll and have conservatives support. Sen. Rand Paul became a conservative  hero with his recent 13 hour filibuster  where he took Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Obama head on with the “Drone” issue. Rand Paul make Holder and Obama blink. Although a CPAC straw poll does not determine an eventual GOP presidential nominee, what makes this much, much different is that the two straw poll winners, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio, are both cross-over candidates which the LEFT and the MSM are going to have a hard time calling right-wing extremists.

Sen. Rand Paul won the 2013 Washington Times-CPAC presidential preference straw poll Saturday, and Sen. Marco Rubio was a close second, easily outdistancing the rest of the field and signaling the rise of a new generation of conservative leaders who will take the Republican Party into the 2016 election.

Mr. Paul won 25 percent of the vote, and Mr. Rubio collected 23 percent. Former Sen. Rick Santorum was third with just 8 percent, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie — who was not invited to speak at the three-day Conservative Political Action Conference — was next with 7 percent, and Rep. Paul D. Ryan, the GOP’s vice presidential nominee last year, was fifth with 6 percent

A note to the 8% who voted for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who was not invited to speak at the three-day Conservative Political Action Conference, he is no conservative and the GOP does not need another RINO running for office in the line of other failed GOP candidates like John McCain and Mitt Romney. The GOP needs to find what it stands for and a messenger to the people who can relay that message to We the People.
