Ben Carson Plans to Endorse Donald Trump (VIDEO)

Former Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson plans on endorsing Donald Trump. Carson, who just last week suspended his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, plans to endorse Trump on Friday. Hmm … wonder what position Ben Carson would get in a Trump Administration? Last night during the 107th Republican debate on CNN, Trump referenced that Carson would be endorsing him. Talk about your Odd Couples. Could there be two candidates farther apart in style? I have to say that Ben Carson must have the thickest skin ever of anyone running for president or The Donald made him an offer he could not refuse. Remember when Trump likens Carson’s ‘pathology’ to that of a child molester during previous debates? Really Ben, this is who you would endorse?

This is obviously a key endorsement and coming right ahead of the Ohio and Florida primaries. A key endorsement indeed.

Conservative favorite Ben Carson, who last week suspended his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, plans to endorse Donald Trump on Friday morning, according to two people familiar with his thinking.

The endorsement, perhaps the most high-profile nod for Trump since New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie backed him, was finalized Thursday morning when Carson met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, the luxury club owned by the Republican front-runner, the people said. The sources requested anonymity to discuss private conversations.

Friday’s announcement will also take place at the club in Palm Beach, Fla., where the onetime rivals will appear alongside one another at a news conference.

Fox News Poll: Gov. John Kasich Ahead of Trump in Ohio

WELL, IF YOU CAN’T WIN YOUR OWN STATE, WHAT CAN YOU WIN?

According to the most recent FOX News poll, Ohio Gov. John Kasich is leading in the polls for Ohio. The poll indicates that Kasich bests Trump among Buckeye Republicans by a 34 to 29 percent margin. Other polls have it for Trump. However, if Kasich wins Ohio and its delegates, it just pushes the can down the road that none in the GOP race will get the required delegates for the Republican nomination and Kasich will stay in the race. Honestly, if you can’t win your own state, why are you even running for the nomination? That means you to Marco.

Full poll results HERE.

Ohio Governor John Kasich bests Donald Trump among Buckeye Republicans by a 34 to 29 percent margin.  Ted Cruz is third with 19 percent.  Marco Rubio trails with just 7 percent.

That’s according to a new Fox News poll of Ohio likely Republican primary voters.  The governor’s edge is within the poll’s margin of sampling error.

Kasich is bolstered by positive evaluations of his job performance as governor.  He has a sky high 79 percent approval rating among the Ohio party faithful.

John Kasich leads Donald Trump by 5 points in Ohio.

Mr. Kasich led Mr. Trump by 1 point among men, but 10 points among women. He also led Mr. Trump by 5 points among evangelical Christians.

Mr. Kasich had a 79 percent approval rating among Republicans, compared to just 15 percent who disapproved.

Twenty-six percent of Ohio Republicans — and 39 percent of Kasich supporters — said they would refuse to support Mr. Trump against the Democratic nominee in November.

Republican 2016 Priamries: Trump Wins Michigan, Mississippi & Hawaii … Cruz Wins Idaho and Rubio Shut Out of Delagates

SORRY MARCO, ITS TIME TO PACK IT IN AFTER LAST NIGHT’S SHUT OUT …

Last night’s “not-so Super Tuesday” saw Donald Trump pick up victories in Michigan, Mississippi and Hawaii as Sen. Ted Cruz won big in Idaho and came in a strong and surprise second in Michigan. By the nights end, Sen. Marco Rubio finished a poor third and fourth in every primary/caucus and did not pick up one single delegate. Sorry Marco, time to pack it up and go home before you embarrass yourself in Florida. The same holds true with John Kasich as he appears to be losing in the Ohio polls as well.

As the Classic Sesame Street song goes One of these things is not like the other, one of these things doesn’t belong …

Donald Trump advanced his lead in the race for the Republican presidential nomination, winning Mississippi and Michigan, the biggest states up for grabs Tuesday in the increasingly bitter GOP primary contest. Later in the evening, he also scored a victory in the Hawaii caucuses. Meanwhile, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, vying to make it a one-on-one race with Trump, won Idaho.

Unlike last week’s Super Tuesday contests, just 150 delegates were up for grabs Tuesday — and all were awarded proportionally, suggesting that the results would not dramatically alter the current standing of the GOP race, where Trump enjoys a healthy lead over Cruz, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida and Gov. John Kasich of Ohio.

But for Trump, Tuesday’s wins were a significant psychological victory for his insurgent campaign, affirming that he retains his momentum even after days of withering attacks from rivals and members of a Republican establishment newly determined to derail his bid for the party’s nomination

Ted Cruz Wins GOP Maine Caucus

TED CRUZ WINS MAINE!!!

Cruz Maine

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is projected to be the winner of the Maine Republican caucus, with Donald Trump in second.

Maine saw record turnout on Saturday. There had not been much polling done of the state, but Cruz’s victory in a state with a very small population of Evangelical Christians (who h

Maine’s Gov. Paul LePage endorsed Donald Trump at the end of last month. Clearly, his endorsement didn’t have much of an effect.

Ted Cruz Wins GOP Kansas Big Over Trump

TED CRUZ WINS KANSAS!!!

Ted Cruz claimed an easy victory in Kansas and battled with Donald Trump for Kentucky and Maine in Saturday’s four-state round of Republican voting, fresh evidence that there’s no quick end in sight to the fractious GOP race for president. Kansas Democrats gave Bernie Sanders a win, as voters in three states chose between the Vermont senator and Hillary Clinton.

“God bless Kansas,” Cruz declared during a rally in Idaho, which votes in three days. “The scream you hear, the howl that comes from Washington D.C., is utter terror at what we the people are doing together.”

The Texas senator defeated Trump by more than a 2-to-1 margin in Kansas, and early returns showed he and Trump were in tight races in Maine and Kentucky caucuses. Cruz, a tea party favorite, attributed his strong showing to conservatives coalescing behind his candidacy, calling it a “manifestation of a real shift in momentum.”
