In the name of science, woman shall bare their breasts today to prove once and for all … woman do not have to dress in a burqa to prevent earthquakes.

Breastquake, boobquake, call it what you will. The question is are you going to participate in it today to prove the insane, radical Muslim clerics wrong who claim that  immodestly dressed women cause earthquakes.

It is the brainchild of 22 year old Jen McCreight who blogs at Blag Hag and who   attends Purdue University. She already has over 40,000 ready to participate today signed up on Facebook.

McCreight, a 22-year-old attending Purdue University in Indiana, is pushing women to bare their breast cleavage for a day to satirize Islamic cleric Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi, who recently blamed earthquakes on immodest female clothing.

“Many women who do not dress modestly . . . lead young men astray, corrupt their chastity and spread adultery in society, which (consequently) increases earthquakes,” Sedighi told Iranian media on April 16.

Sedighi is Tehran’s acting Friday prayer leader.

Jen will be Tweeting and posting live pics during the day.

The LEFT has stated that many of us on the right are intolerant. Not so. Many who participate in the Tea Parties believe that all have the right to freedom of speech against their government in dissent. Such is the case with 24 year old Jen McCreight. She is a self-described atheist, feminist and geek “trapped in Indiana.” On many issues we probably have nothing in common, probably most … however, she has a right to protest and I must say I love her originality. A feminists who is actually making a stand against individuals who really do treat woman like property. Kudos!

Who knew that it was woman’s cleavage that caused earthquake? I must have missed that in my science classes growing up. Then again, I went to a school and took part in a religion that did not hate woman and treat them like cattle.

In the end Jen will prove who the real “boobs” are in this story. Once again, put on that blouse with the plunging neckline girls … its Boobquake day!

UPDATE I: It appears that they are selling “boobquake” t-shirts to commemorate the day. All proceeds they claim are going to charity.

Italian Exorcist Says the Media is SATAN … Really, Who Knew?

Ok, we will need to file this one under … Really, ya don’t say and as the Gateway Pundit put it, now tell us something we don’t already know.

Father Gabriele Amorth, a noted Italian exorcist states that the Devil is working behind the scenes within the state run media.  The well timed 50 year old case was designed to take place during Holy week, that was no coincidence.  It was designed to cause damage to the Pope and the Catholic Church during the most holiest of Christian weeks, the crucifixion and rising of  Christ.

According to a leading exorcist said the devil that made the media do it and who was behind the Holy Week attacks.

Noted Italian exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth, commented this week that the recent defamatory reporting on Pope Benedict XVI, especially by the New York Times, was “prompted by the devil.”

Speaking to News Mediaset in Italy, the 85-year-old exorcist noted that the devil is behind “the recent attacks on Pope Benedict XVI regarding some pedophilia cases.”

“There is no doubt about it.  Because he is a marvelous Pope and worthy successor to John Paul II, it is clear that the devil wants to ‘grab hold’ of him.”

Father Amorth added that in instances of sexual abuse committed by some members of the clergy, the devil “uses” priests in order to cast blame upon the entire Church: “The devil wants the death of the Church because she is the mother of all the saints.”

“He combats the Church through the men of the Church, but he can do nothing to the Church.”

The exorcist went on to note that Satan tempts holy men, “and so we should not be surprised if priests too … fall into temptation. They also live in the world and can fall like men of the world.”

Granted, we are against those that would exploit children and pedophilia priests; however, we also know a well timed and convenient hit piece against Christianity. We are still waiting for the news article from the NY Times on similar type actions within Islam.

One thing is for certain, the Italian Exorcist just might be spot on in his analysis regarding state run media.
