President Donald Trump Calls Las Vegas Shooting an ‘Act of Pure Evil’ and Thanks Police & First Responders (VIDEO)

President Donald Trump consoles the families of the victims and a nation …

President Donald Trump addressed the nation yesterday following the Las Vegas shooting massacre that saw 59 people killed and over 500 injured. President Trump called the largest mass murder at the  in United States history an “act of pure evil.” The president thanked the Las Vegas Metropolitan police and the first responders for their heroic, courageous and profession actions that helped save the lives of so many.

“Hundreds of our fellow citizens are now mourning the sudden loss of a loved one, a parent, a child, a brother or sister. We cannot fathom their pain, we cannot imagine their loss. To the families of the victims, we are praying for you and we are here for you. And we ask God to help see you through this very dark period.

Scripture teaches us the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We seek comfort in those words, for we know that God lives in the hearts of those who grieve. To the wounded who are now recovering in hospitals, we are praying for your full and speedy recovery, and pledge to you our support from this day forward.”

ABC News:

President Donald Trump condemned the mass shooting in Las Vegas — in which at least 59 people were shot dead — as an “act of pure evil” and declared the nation would unite behind the survivors, but he refused to get into a new debate over gun control.

Trump spoke slowly and carefully Monday morning from the White House Diplomatic Room, focusing not on the identity or possible motive of the gunman but on the nation’s efforts to heal.

The remarks were the prelude to a two-part test of whether Trump, a leader who excels at political provocation, can also deliver solace. Trump is slated to visit Puerto Rico Tuesday to survey devastation from Hurricane Maria, before going to Las Vegas Wednesday to meet with families of the dead.

“Our unity cannot be shattered by evil, our bonds cannot be broken by violence,” the president said. “We call upon the bonds that unite us: our faith, our family, and our shared values. We call upon the bonds of citizenship, the ties of community, and the comfort of our common humanity.”

Trump spoke hours after a gunman on the 32nd floor of a Vegas Strip casino opened fire on people at an outdoor country music festival below. The gunman, 64-year-old Stephen Craig Paddock, killed at least 59 people, police say, as tens of thousands of concertgoers screamed and ran for their lives. More than 500 people were hurt.

“… In memory of the fallen, I have directed that our great flag be flown at half-staff. I will be visiting Las Vegas on Wednesday to meet with law enforcement, first responders, and the families of the victims. In moments of tragedy and horror, America comes together as one. And it always has.

We call upon the bonds that unite us, our faith, our family, and our shared values. We call upon the bonds of citizenship, the ties of community, and the comfort of our common humanity. Our unity cannot be shattered by evil, our bonds cannot be broken by violence, and though we feel such great anger, at the senseless murder of our fellow citizens, it is our love that defines us today. And always will. Forever.

In times such as these, I know we are searching for some kind of meaning in the chaos, some kind of light in the darkness. The answers do not come easy. But we can take solace knowing that even the darkest space can be brightened by a single light and even the most terrible despair can be illuminated by a single ray of hope.

Melania and I are praying for every American who has been hurt, wounded or lost the ones they loved so dearly in this terrible, terrible attack. We pray for the entire nation to find unity and peace, and we pray for the day when evil is banished and the innocent are safe from hatred and from fear.

May God bless the souls of the lives that are lost, may God give us the grace of healing and may God provide the grieving families with strength to carry on. Thank you. God bless America. Thank you.”

President Donald Trump’s Amazing Speech at the UN (VIDEO) … “The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies”

THE DAYS OF U.S. PRESIDENTS APOLOGIZING FOR AMERICA ARE OVER, THERE IS A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN AND HIS NAME IS TRUMP

President Donald Trump went to the United Nations and showed the world what a strong American leader looks like. Gone are the eight years of apologies under Obama, welcome to the new vision of the United States, embracing the land of the free and the home of the brave. This was an eloquent and masterful speech that has the LEFT and the MSM reeling.  President Trump stated, “We do not expect diverse countries to share the same cultures, traditions, or even systems of government. But we do expect all nations to uphold these two core sovereign duties: to respect the interests of their own people and the rights of every other sovereign nation. This is the beautiful vision of this institution, and this is foundation for cooperation and success.” And at the same time, Trump put Iran and the “rocket man” on notice, “The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea”.

The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea. Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime. The United States is ready, willing and able, but hopefully this will not be necessary. That’s what the United Nations is all about; that’s what the United Nations is for. Let’s see how they do.

Strong, sovereign nations let their people take ownership of the future and control their own destiny. And strong, sovereign nations allow individuals to flourish in the fullness of the life intended by God.

In America, we do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to watch. This week gives our country a special reason to take pride in that example. We are celebrating the 230th anniversary of our beloved Constitution — the oldest constitution still in use in the world today.

This timeless document has been the foundation of peace, prosperity, and freedom for the Americans and for countless millions around the globe whose own countries have found inspiration in its respect for human nature, human dignity, and the rule of law.

The greatest in the United States Constitution is its first three beautiful words. They are: “We the people.”

Generations of Americans have sacrificed to maintain the promise of those words, the promise of our country, and of our great history. In America, the people govern, the people rule, and the people are sovereign. I was elected not to take power, but to give power to the American people, where it belongs.

In foreign affairs, we are renewing this founding principle of sovereignty. Our government’s first duty is to its people, to our citizens — to serve their needs, to ensure their safety, to preserve their rights, and to defend their values.

As President of the United States, I will always put America first, just like you, as the leaders of your countries will always, and should always, put your countries first. (Applause.)

All responsible leaders have an obligation to serve their own citizens, and the nation-state remains the best vehicle for elevating the human condition.

But making a better life for our people also requires us to work together in close harmony and unity to create a more safe and peaceful future for all people.

The United States will forever be a great friend to the world, and especially to its allies. But we can no longer be taken advantage of, or enter into a one-sided deal where the United States gets nothing in return. As long as I hold this office, I will defend America’s interests above all else.

But in fulfilling our obligations to our own nations, we also realize that it’s in everyone’s interest to seek a future where all nations can be sovereign, prosperous, and secure.

America does more than speak for the values expressed in the United Nations Charter. Our citizens have paid the ultimate price to defend our freedom and the freedom of many nations represented in this great hall. America’s devotion is measured on the battlefields where our young men and women have fought and sacrificed alongside of our allies, from the beaches of Europe to the deserts of the Middle East to the jungles of Asia.

It is an eternal credit to the American character that even after we and our allies emerged victorious from the bloodiest war in history, we did not seek territorial expansion, or attempt to oppose and impose our way of life on others. Instead, we helped build institutions such as this one to defend the sovereignty, security, and prosperity for all.

For the diverse nations of the world, this is our hope. We want harmony and friendship, not conflict and strife. We are guided by outcomes, not ideology. We have a policy of principled realism, rooted in shared goals, interests, and values.

President Trump & First Lady Melania Visit Disaster Struck Texas Following Hurricane Harvey

TRUMP VISITS TEXAS TO PROVIDE HOPE …

President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump visited Corpus Christi, Texas yesterday before headed to Austin to meet with state officials to discuss what needs to be done following Hurricane Harvey. President Trump told a crowd of Texans who’d lined up outside a Corpus Christi firehouse, that the recovery effort is ‘going well’ and his administration is ‘here to take care of you’.  The President praised state and federal officials for their response to Harvey. Trump went on to say to flood victims gathered in Corpus Christi, “I will tell you, this is historic.” It’s epic, but you know what? It happened in Texas and Texas can handle anything.” At the conclusion of Trump’s remarks, he thanked Abbott, promised to get Texas “back and operating immediately” and waved a Lone Star flag, to which the crowd responded with cheers.

President Donald Trump backed off his claim that Texas would be ‘up and running very, very quickly’ after Tropical Storm Harvey on Tuesday afternoon.

The president mused during a briefing at the Texas Department of Public Safety that the flood waters in southern Texas, which has seen record-breaking rainfall, might never recede.

‘Nobody’s ever seen this much water. The wind was pretty horrific, in particular, but the water has never been seen like this, to this extent. And it’s, maybe someday going to disappear. We keep waiting,’ Trump said this afternoon in Austin.

His wife soon followed with an official statement of her own.

‘The effects of Hurricane Harvey will be felt in Texas, Louisiana, and other parts of the country for many months and years to come,’ she said.

Areas east of Houston, Texas have been drenched with more than 50 inches of rain. The storm continues to hover over southeastern Texas and parts of southwestern Louisiana.

Earlier, Trump told a crowd of Texans who’d lined up outside a Corpus Christi firehouse he was visiting that the recovery effort is ‘going well’ and his administration is ‘here to take care of you.’

‘We love you. You are special,’ the president said to cheers from onlookers. ‘This is historic, it’s epic, what happened, but you know what, it happened in Texas. Texas can handle anything.’

Hillary Clinton Book ‘What Happened’ Excerpt, “Back up you creep, get away from me” … Hillary Still Lying, Check Out the Video Tape

HILLARY CANT HELP HERSELF, SHE IS A LAIR …

What a joke, Hillary Clinton’s new book ‘What Happened” is just more Hillary excuses and lies. She teased the book with the following excerpt trying to besmirch candidate Donald Trump for his actions during the second Presidential debate, “Back up you creep, get away from me” Back up, hovered behind her? She is the one who walked in front of him during the debate and invaded his space. Donald Trump actually was standing next to his chair. But once again we are witness to more Hillary lies and excuses as she plays the victim. If Hillary Clinton couldn’t handle this, how could she be President of the United States?

Invading your space, REALLY? What a snowflake. Thankfully this individual never won. I used to think that Hillary Clinton had larger CO-JONES than most men. Boy was I wrong. This woman was Secretary of State and she describes her time during the debate as if she had never encountered an uncomfortable situation ever. However, the most irony comes from the fact that she refers to others as a creep when she is married and has made excuses and defended the biggest creeper the White House has ever known.

Hillary Clinton calls President Donald Trump a “creep” who “love[s] to intimidate women” in an excerpt of her forthcoming memoir while detailing her experience at one of 2016’s presidential debates.

In the passage from Clinton’s memoir, “What Happened,” the former secretary of state recounts an “incredibly uncomfortable” moment during the second presidential debate in St. Louis on October 9, in which her “skin crawled” as Trump was “looming behind” her and “literally breathing down [her] neck.” A day prior, the Washington Post had released a video from 2005 of Trump making lewd comments about sexually assaulting women.

“Well, what would you do? Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on, as if he weren’t repeatedly invading your space?” asks Clinton in the book. “Or do you turn, look him in the eye, and say loudly and clearly: ‘Back up you creep, get away from me. I know you love to intimidate women, but you can’t intimidate me, so back up.’”
