Rick Sanorum Endorses GOP Rival Mitt Romney Republican Presidential Candidate
Rick Santorum endorses Mitt Romney to be the Republican nominee for President, the party comes together … “Above all else, we both agree that President Obama must be defeated.” Powerline has the written endorsement and aptly states, “This is a compelling case, and I expect that Romney will have the solid backing of Santorum supporters.”
A reader forwards this email Rick Santorum is sending to his supporters in which he announces he’s endorsing Mitt Romney.
Santorum makes clear that he felt Romney had answered questions about his commitment to principles the former senator cares about at their one-hour meeting in Pittsburgh. And his backing, while expected, comes at a time when Romney is trying to solidify his standing in the party, whose social conservative base remains uncertain about him.
“Above all else, we both agree that President Obama must be defeated,” Santorum writes in the email. :The task will not be easy. It will require all hands on deck if our nominee is to be victorious. Governor Romney will be that nominee and he has my endorsement and support to win this the most critical election of our lifetime.”
It is going to take all to come together during this most important election of our lifetime to defeat Obama and his socialist, class warfare agenda.

Obama Way Behind in Catholic Vote As Compared to 2008 … Gallup Poll Tied at 46% A Piece
Once again we see that for Barack Obama, this ain’t 2008 anymore. Obama’s war on religion taking its toll on his poll numbers.
In the 2008 Presidential election, Barack Obama won the Catholic vote by nine points, 54% to 45%, over John McCain on his way to a seven-point victory. That was then, this is now. According to the most recent Gallup poll, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are tied with the Catholic vote at 46% to 46%. Protestants are also supporting Romney by 9 points, 51% to 41%. As stated at Hot Air, it would appear that Obama has completely alienated and lost millions of Catholic votes after announcing the HHS mandate that would force religious hospitals, schools, and charities to fund contraception, sterilization, and abortifacients.
Catholic voters in the United States are evenly split in their support for Barack Obama and Mitt Romney for president, mirroring the national trend. However, Hispanic Catholics — about 18% of the total group of Catholic voters — are overwhelmingly likely to support Obama over Romney, while a majority of non-Hispanic white Catholics support Romney.
Catholics constitute almost one in four voters in the U.S. today. Did Obama really want to upset that voting block? Also, the US Conference of Catholic Bishops have not relented on the issue of the HHS mandate, and have been so provoked by Obama that they will be openly campaigning against Obama. Fear not Barack Obama, you seem to have a leg up with the heathen vote.
Religious White Catholics Support Romney; the Nonreligious, Obama
Non-Hispanic white Catholics themselves, who make up 75% of all Catholic registered voters, are far from monolithic in their vote choice. As a general rule in today’s political world, the more religious the American, the more likely he or she is to be a Republican and vote for Republican candidates. This rule of thumb is evident among white Catholic voters. Among non-Hispanic white Catholics whom Gallup categorizes as “very religious” or “moderately religious,” Romney wins over Obama by 30- and 22-point margins, respectively. Among nonreligious Catholics, Obama wins by 54% to 40%.

Another Obama Failure … Barack Obama Unable to Fill Arena at Campaign Kick Off at Ohio St (Picture)
HEY BARACK OBAMA … THIS AIN’T 2008!!! NO SHOWS IN THE BATTLE GROUND STATE OF OHIO ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS.
The One, the Obamamessiah, President Barack Hussein Obama officially launched his 2012 “Forward” reelection campaign to a half empty arena at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. GO BUCKEYES! The picture below was taken during Obama’s speech meant to wow the underwhelming crowd. Talk about your embarrassments. Obama’s staff had expected an overflow of people, instead they had to reseat the sparse crowd to the floor to give the appearance more were in attendance. Sorry, but when Barack Obama cannot fill an arena at a college campus … Houston Barack, you got a problem.
Funny, all I could think of when I saw this story of Obama’s lack of audience was two lines from the classic movie ‘This is Spinal Tap’.
Ian Faith: The Boston gig has been cancelled…
David St. Hubbins: What?
Ian Faith: Yeah. I wouldn’t worry about it though, it’s not a big college town.
The other was when the lead singer was asked whether he feared that the bands popularity was waning because they are playing to much smaller crowds in smaller venues. The response was, the audience is not getting smaller, just more selective. At least Barack Obama was billed before the puppet show on the arena marque.

Barack Obama launched his campaign in unspectacular fashion today at Ohio State University, the largest college in the crucial swing state. A photo posted to twitter by Mitt Romney’s campaign spokesman Ryan Williams reveals sparse attendance. The above image, according to Williams, was taken during the President’s first official campaign speech.
During the speech, Obama ripped into the presumptive GOP nominee and discussed nation building at home, but the most newsworthy item of the day was not the talking points Obama delivered: it was the crowd… or lack thereof. According to ABC News, the Obama campaign had expected.
Just so you don’t think that this was a Romney stunt of a pic prior to the President showing up to OSU, even the CNN shills were forced to admit the crowd was lacking. In perfect in the tank MSM form, the CNN reporter felt the need to comment that Mitt Romney has never had a crowd like this. At the 1:30 mark the reporter admitted that the top tier of the arena was empty, the TV shot conveniently did not show that. However, note to MSM … Barack Obama is the incumbent President and the fact that he cannot fill a sporting arena on a college campus is damning. Its not like this is the Fall and all the kids were at The Horse Shoe watching football. However, the in the Obama tank MSM felt the need to make an excuse for Obama’s no-shows. Note to MSM, Romney is not the official nominee of the GOP, Obama is the sitting president.
Not a good day for Barack Obama. As reported by the Gateway Pundit, first he forgot his wife, then he could not fill a stadium. To top his day off he probably missed his gold tee time as well.
According to the Toledo Blade, the venue for Obama’s rally seats 20,000 but “there were a lot of empty seats.” Comparatively, Obama drew a crowd of 35,000 at Ohio State when he campaigned for former Governor Ted Strickland in 2010
Make no mistake about it … we have stated this for quite some time, Barack Obama will not be able to capture the magic from 2008 for one reason and one reason only … HIS RECORD!!! Rather than a reelection theme of “Forward”, it would appear that Obama is stuck in neutral. It has been previously reported that the college age kids were no longer enamored with Obama and the 2008 “Hope & Change” fever has been replaced with 2012 apathy. It looks like today was the actual proof. As reported at Fire Andrea Mitchell, “Even indoctrinated college kids aren’t turning out in big numbers for the Messiah Obama anymore.”
Just curious, does the Obama reelect team think the no-shows at Ohio St are racists?

Young Voters Back Barack Obama Over Romney … but Many Aren’t Poised to Vote … Hope & Change = No Jobs
As reported at Gallup, President Barack Obama may have a substantial lead with young voters over presumptive GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney; however, will the young people actually come out and vote on election day? Only about 56% of the youth vote said they would vote in the general election. Barack Obama faces a real challenge in his 2012 reelection bid. That problem … his first disastrous, epic fail Presidential term in office.
President Obama this week made an explicit effort to shore up his support among young voters, embarking on a “college tour” of campuses in North Carolina, Colorado, and Iowa. Obama called on Congress to pass legislation that would keep the interest rates on student loans from doubling this summer, as they are scheduled to do under current law. Romney, in a rare instance of agreement with Obama, also came out in support of Congress’ taking this action, marking his own effort to gain support among the youth vote.
The practical value of Obama’s broad support among young voters is lessened by the fact that only six in 10 of these voters say they are registered to vote, and that fewer than six in 10 who are registered say they will definitely vote in November’s election. By way of contrast, Romney’s relatively strong support among voters 65 and older is more politically potent; these older voters are well above average in their voter registration percentage, and are most likely of any age group to say they will definitely vote in November’s election.
In 2008, 18% of the voting electorate was the youth vote. Of course Obama won the vote handily over McCain in 2008. However, those youth who voted in 2008 for Obama have little to show for their “Hope & Change” vote. Obama has recently gone out on his pandering college tour discussing student loans, but those in the audience will hardly be affected by any laws passed now. What has affected the American youth is … one in two new College Graduates are Unemployed or Underemployed. That is what will be in the minds of the “youth” vote when in comes election day.
