ELECTION DAY 2016 … With Many Polls & Pundits Saying Otherwise … Trump Does have a Plausible Path to 270 and Victory or What If a Tie?

TRUMP HAS A PATH TO VICTORY … CAN HE GET THERE TODAY, ELECTION DAY 2016 …

Even though many of the poll as seen at RCP have Hillary Clinton ahead in the national polls. The averaging of polls have Clinton ahead by 3.2%. However, national polls mean little to nothing, its about the states and enthusiasm.  Donald Trump does have a pathway to victory and its not that far-fetched. I am not going to lie, will it be easy, no. Is he the underdog right now, the answer is yes and maybe. Many polls are within the margin of error, which means they could go either way. One thing is for certain in a political season where there have been no certainties … no political pundits have been correct on Trump yet, why should they be now?

Here is the current RCP Map of the electoral college of states between Clinton and Trump with 203 for Clinton/Kaine, Toss Ups 171 and Trump/Pence with 164. 270 is the magical number. The toss up states are as follows”: Florida (29), Ohio (18), Michigan (16), Pennsylvania (20), New Hampshire (4), Maine CD2 (1), Maine (2), North Carolina (15), Virginia (13), Georgia (16), Colorado (9), Nevada (6), New Mexico (5), Arizona (11) and Iowa (6).

Now check this out and see if this is not a plausible possibility of what could happen today? According to may of the average of polls, this is highly possible. If this happens, the race is 269 – 269, a tie!!! It is possible the election could be a tie and its not that far out of the realm of possibility.

We will put the following states in the Trump camp: Florida (29), Ohio (18), New Hampshire (4), North Carolina (15),  Georgia (16), Nevada (6), Arizona (11) and Iowa (6).

The following states go to Clinton: Michigan (16), Pennsylvania (20), Colorado (9), Maine CD2 (1), Maine (2), New Mexico (5), Virginia (13),

What happens if it is a tie, what is the Tiebreaker? In the event that neither candidate gets the majority of the vote, the House of Representatives would decide the president, Congress is still bound by the electoral vote.

According to Article II, Section 1, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution, “[t]he Person having the greatest Number of Votes shall be the President, if such Number be a Majority of the whole Number of Electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such Majority, and have an equal Number of Votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately chose by Ballot one of them for President; and if no Person have a Majority, then from the five highest on the List the said House shall in like Manner chose the President.”

So basically this means the following, if Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump each have 269 electoral votes, then the current House of Representatives must choose one of them. Because Republicans hold a majority in “current” Congress, Donald Trump would very likely be chosen. If neither candidate gets a majority of votes, then third-party candidates come into play, if they can earn electoral votes. The 12th Amendment subsequently limited Congress to choosing among the top three candidates.

But if we move the map by just one state race where in Maine CD2 (1) swings to Donald Trump, he wins 270 to 268. The point that I am trying to make is, its possible. Is there a pathway to victory for Trump, of course there is. Is there would for Hillary, yes there is as well and it is much easier. In a year in which the Chicago Cubs finally won a World Series and ended a 108-year wait, anything is possible. We will know early on as to how the races are going in New Hampshire, Maine, Georgia and Pennsylvania as to what the election day trend is, will America put up with another 4 years of Obama and a corrupt candidate like Hillary Clinton, or will Donald Trump shock the world?

Hmm … Republicans Hold Lead in Colorado Early Voting Entering Election Day

INTERESTING, THIS BODES WELL FOR DONALD TRUMP … COULD HE REALLY FLIP COLORADO?

As reported at The Denver Post, Republicans took the lead in early voting in Colorado at the end of the day Friday and held the advantage through the weekend. According to the data released Monday, registered Republicans cast 652,380 ballots compared to 645,020 registered Democrats, a 7,360 vote GOP advantage. Now of course not all Republicans and Democrats are going to vote along party affiliation; however, this is an interesting number seeing that the Democrats have always had a greater get out the vote campaign. This does show voter enthusiasm. As stated at the Washington Examiner, the polls indicated that Colorado was a blue leaning state, but could Colorado, that went to Obama twice, be flipped to the GOP?

Trump needs to flip blue states red in order to gain 270 electoral votes. Is Colorado one of those possible states?

It’s worth noting that not all Republicans are voting for GOP nominee Donald Trump — just as not all Democrats are supporting party nominee Hillary Clinton. But the early voting is a potential sign of party organization and voter enthusiasm.

In newly released emails from Wikileaks, it appears the Democratic National Committee (DNC) colluded with CNN in devising questions in April to be asked of then-Republican primary candidate Donald Trump in an upcoming interview. Because this is ethical and legal. It has long been suspected that the MSM and Democrats were in bed together, now through the thanks of Wikileaks it has been proved to be 100% correct. The media and the Democrat party is one in the same. This comes on the wake of CNN cutting all ties with Donna Brazile for the debate question information she provided to Team Hillary ahead of the debates. CNN cried crocodile tears as they pretended to be outraged by the actions.

What we have learned in this election , the MSM can never be trusted again.

Newly released emails from WikiLeaks suggest that the Democratic National Committee colluded with CNN in devising questions in April to be asked of then-Republican primary candidate Donald Trump in an upcoming interview.

In an email to DNC colleagues on April 25 with the headline “Trump Questions for CNN,” a DNC official with the email username DillonL@dnc.org asked for ideas for an interview to be conducted by CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer.

“Wolf Blitzer is interviewing Trump on Tues ahead of his foreign policy address on Wed. … Please send me thoughts by 10:30 AM tomorrow.”

The sender of the email would seem to be DNC Research Director Lauren Dillon, who was identified in previous reports of DNC emails released by WikiLeaks in July.

Several hours after the first email was sent, Dillon said in a follow-up email that the interview had been cancelled, “as of now,” but shared a list of questions thought up by the DNC that she said could be used for the next interview.

A separate email from Dillon that same day said “CNN is looking for questions” for then-GOP primary candidate Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, and “maybe a couple on” former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.

Some of the questions included: “Who helped you write the foreign policy speech you’re giving tomorrow? Which advisors specifically did you talk to? What advice did they give you? Did they give you any advice that you chose not to take?” Others explored Saudi Arabia’s alleged involvement in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, a pre-preemptive strike against North Korea and court martials for members of the military who didn’t follow orders.

Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll: Donald Trump Ahead of Hillary Clinton in Iowa 46% – 39%

LOOKS LIKE TRUMP IS GOING TO FLIP BLUE STATE IOWA TO RED …

According to the most recent Des Moines Register poll, Donald Trump leads Hillary Clinton in Iowa by 7 points, 46% to 39%. This is usually an accurate and trusted poll in Iowa. In 2008 Obama won Iowa 54% – 45% and in 2012 Obama won it 52% to 46%.; however, it would seem by all indications that Donald Trump has flipped Iowa red.

Donald Trump has surged to a 7-point lead over Democratic rival Hillary Clinton among Iowa voters, firmly establishing the Republican presidential nominee as the favorite to win the state’s six electoral votes on Tuesday.

Trump is the top choice for 46 percent of Iowans who have already cast a ballot or plan to do so on Election Day, according to the latest Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll, compared to 39 percent who say they’re for Clinton.

That makes the state Trump’s to lose, political analyst Amy Walter said.

Trump leads among several key demographic groups, including men, self-identified independents, young and middle-aged voters and those without a college degree.

Forty-one percent of independents support Trump, compared to 34 percent who back Clinton. Trump likewise leads by 5 percentage points — 43 to 38 — among voters under 35.
