Politico/Morning Consult Poll: 67% Give Favorable View of Donald Trump’s Carrier Deal to Save Nearly 1000 American Jobs from Moving to Mexico

THIS SHOULD COME AS A NO DAH POLL, BUT SADLY THERE ARE THOSE WHO DISAGREE WITH SAVING AMERICAN JOBS ..

A recent Politico/Morning Consult poll shows that president-elect Donald Trump is getting very high marks for his negotiating with Carrier to save nearly 1000 American jobs from being sent to Mexico. 67% polled had a favorable onion of the action, which includes 87% of self-identified Republicans, 54% of independents and even 40% of Democrats. While many on the Left whine about the deal and some on the right in the “never Trump” crowd, an overwhelming majority approve. Saving jobs is always a good thing, especially with the manner is how this was done. With all due respect to Sarah Palin and those on the right, this was not crony capitalism. Carrier keeps some 800 jobs in Indiana that had been slated to go to Mexico in return for $7 million in state financial incentives. $7 million? That’s a piddence in the grand scope of things. Carrier looked to save $70-80 million with the move to Mexico. They did this deal because they know there is going to be a business man in the White House who is going to make America great again for business.

Donald Trump thumbs up

Donald Trump’s first major action as president-elect — the deal he and Vice President-elect Mike Pence struck last week with Carrier Corp. — is earning high marks from American voters, a new Politico/Morning Consult poll shows.

Voters surveyed overwhelmingly view Trump’s negotiations with Carrier — which resulted in about 1,000 manufacturing jobs at the heating, ventilation and air conditioning company remaining in Indiana rather than moving to Mexico — as an appropriate use of presidential prerogative. And a majority of voters say the Carrier deal gives them a more favorable view of Trump, though his overall favorability ratings were virtually unchanged from mid-November.

While some conservatives and conservative groups — including The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board and former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin — have decried the Carrier deal as “crony capitalism,” the Politico/Morning Consult poll shows it’s a political winner for Trump. Sixty percent of voters say Carrier’s decision to keep some manufacturing jobs in Indiana, where Pence is still serving as governor, gives them a more favorable view of Trump. That includes not only 87 percent of self-identified Republicans, but also 54 percent of independents and 40 percent of Democrats.

Only 9 percent say it makes them view Trump less favorably, while 22 percent say it doesn’t have an impact either way.

At some point, some of you are going to have to stop whining about every thing this man does. I, especially mean those of you on the right. Its getting old and you sould like the Left. I am all for capitalism and free markets, but do not begin to tell me that this was a bad deal.

Dick Cheney Says to CNN’s Barbara Starr: Trump Took Us To Point Where We “Don’t Need You Guys Anymore”

WILL TRUMP MAKE THE MSM IRRELEVANT OR HAVE THEY ALREADY DONE THAT TO THEMSELVES?

Over the weekend, former Vice President Dick Cheney and Former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta discussed the new era of foreign policy under President-elect Donald Trump with CNN’s Barbara Starr at the Reagan Library. The media seems to be worried about Donald Trump’s tweets. That is when Cheney provided the following comment as to why maybe the MSM is in such a huff over Trump’s tweets, do they feel that they will be made irrelevant and not needed anymore? Funny line. I bet the media never thought they would miss Dick Cheney.

Honestly, since it is pretty much obvious, especially after the last election cycle that journalism is dead, maybe it is the media that made their own-self irrelevant.

“I think one of the reasons people get so concerned about the tweets is it is sort of a way around the press. He doesn’t have to rely upon, uh, rely upon — this is the modern era, modern technology. He’s at the point where we don’t need you guys anymore.”

RCP Transcript:

FMR. VICE PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY: One of the most important things [President-elect Trump] can do is exactly the opposite of what his predecessor did. With respect to Iran and nuclear weapons, and don’t make the mistakes that the situation he is inheriting from the Obama administration represented. With respect to our status in the world, the capabilities of our forces, the belief on the part of I believe many of our friends and allies that they can no longer trust the United States or count on our guarantees. I think we need to do major progress and reverse the Obama policies and not that’s not a place for President Trump to start.

BARBARA STARR, CNN: But Secretary Cheney, Mr. Vice President, you are someone who has a long history of being very precise in your words, in your thinking and your analysis. I’m not aware of anytime you ever said anything very casually. [Laughter]

CHENEY: Oh, now, Barbara.

STARR: At least that I can’t recall. I heard that Air Force general that you fired. Um, that’s another story we’ll get to later.

So, c’mon, let’s hear it. What are you — what is your, you know, you hear this casual language. And when I say that don’t go out tweeting that I am anti-this or anti-that. The language of tweets is not necessarily as nuanced and contextual as U.S. foreign policy is. I think that is something that we can all agree on. So when you see this, seriously, what concerns does it cause you? If you were sitting with him and could give him some advice about all of this — about language, about meaning of words — what would you say? What would your advice be?

CHENEY: Well, I, first of all, am not sitting with him.

STARR: Would you if asked?

CHENEY: Would if I asked?

STARR: Would you?

CHENEY: Certainly, if the President of the United States asks for advice. I would have been happy to advise Barack Obama but he never asked me. [Laughter]

STARR: So, again, language and words. [Laughter]

STARR: You see, the man never says anything casual.

CHENEY: I think he needs to be careful but he’ll learn as he goes along. I think he is putting some brains and good people with him. I am a big fan of Mike Pence. I know Mike well from his 12 years in the House and I think he’s a great choice as Vice President. He’s going to play a major role. I think Mr. Trump is taking very, very seriously the job that he has gotten now. Staffing up the administration.

I think one of the reasons people get so concerned about the tweets is it is sort of a way around the press. He doesn’t have to rely upon, uh, rely upon — this is the modern era, modern technology. He’s at the point where we don’t need you guys anymore.

CNN Producer Caught On Hot Mic Joking About A Trump Plane Crash & Reporter Laughs (Update: CNN Apologizes to Trump)

I THINK IT IS SAFE TO SAY THAT CNN IS A BIAS AND DISGUSTING MEDIA OUTLET

CNN has been caught once again being bias against president-elect Donald Trump and this time it was hardly funny and a laughing matter. While CNN was gathered at the Carrier plant in Indiana, prior to President-elect Donald Trump arriving to give a speech to the Carrier workers regarding the deal he made that saved roughly a thousand jobs to remain in the United States rather than being sent to Mexico, the CNN news crew decided to joke around about a pretty gross and reprehensible topic. A CNN producer was caught on a hot mic saying,“If I do this, it means he’s landed, .. and That means his plane’s crashed…just kidding.” UNREAL.

Can you imagine the outrage from the MSM had some one from FOX News had said something like this regarding Obama? Hmm? Donald Trump is 100% correct to call out the bias and factually incorrect liberal media. This is yet another example of the media bias and double standard. As if a media individual had done this with a Democrat president, they would have been fired.

Mediaite:

While CNN was gathered at the Carrier plant in Indiana yesterday, waiting for President-elect Donald Trump to arrive to give a speech regarding the deal that kept roughly a thousand jobs in the U.S., the crew decided to joke around about a pretty grisly topic.

In video obtained by FTVLive, correspondent Suzanne Malveaux was prepping for her live broadcast from Indianapolis. She can be seen discussing what she needs to say on air, what items to touch on, doing sound checks, asking for water, etc.

However, at one point, as they were getting close to going live, a producer can be heard off screen talking about signals she would give if Trump’s plan had landed. It then went south rather quickly.

“That means his plane’s crashed…just kidding,” the voice can be heard saying, while Malveaux’s eyes bugged out. She then tried to smile it off.

UPDATE I: CNN Apologizes to Donald Trump regarding plane crash comment.

The video showed Malveaux — who joined the network in 2002 — reacting with a stunned face but laughing at the remark.

“An unfortunate and inappropriate remark was made by one of our producers off camera yesterday,” a CNN rep said in a statement, Business Insider reported.

“We have apologized to the Trump transition team, and the producer has been disciplined.”

Trump routinely lambastes the media in general but has also singled out some outlets for verbal abuse, including CNN.

Sean Hannity Interview with Kellyanne Conway 12/2/16 on Fox News (VIDEO)

Kellyanne Conway for White House Press Secretary

Watch  Kellyanne Conway and how she eviscerates the LEFT and their faux arguments about Hillary Clinton. Kellyann discussed the Harvard Kennedy School Institute of Politics debate that was intended to record history by drawing out the internal deliberations of both campaigns. Instead, those on the LEFT lost their minds as they still cannot accept the fat that Hillary lost and Trump won. It is amazing that Democrats cannot just accept that they had a terrible candidate, who appealed and connected with no one and had no message.

Kellyanne Conway would make a fantastic White House press secretary as she would own these fools.

Barack Obama Eating Crow Over Donald Trump Carrier Deal … Obama Previously Mocked Trump, “Well, how — what — how exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have?” (VIDEO)

AMERICA, THIS IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DO NOTHING FAILURE PRESIDENT AND ONE THAT DOES WHAT HE SAYS

Barack Obama and Democrats are eating some major league crow after president-elect Donald Trump came true on his election promise to help keep Carrier and nearly one thousand American jobs from going to Mexico. FLASHBACK … it was not that long ago that Obama was asked about, then GOP presidential candidate Trump, the promise to help Carrier workers keep their jobs at a Town Hall meeting. Obama was quick to be sarcastic and mock Trump. Guess what Obama, Trump does have a magic wand after all. Its called knowing business and the art of the deal. Obama has nothing but egg on his face as Trump came through on his promise. This is my Obama was an epic failure and Trump is already a success.

“ … when somebody says, like the person you just mentioned who I’m not going to advertise for, that he’s going to bring all these jobs back, well how exactly are you going to do that? What are you going to do?”

“There’s — there’s no answer to it,” Obama said.

“He just says, ‘Well, I’m going to negotiate a better deal.’ Well, how — what — how exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually, the answer is he doesn’t have an answer,” he continued.

Now we have Democrats whining that jobs were saved over a $7 million tax incentive. Seriously, $7 million? After Obama wasted billions of dollars on a BS stimulus plan? In the grand scheme of things, $7 million to save 1000 jobs is quite an accomplishment. See Obama’s failed porkulous plan and his cash give aways to Solyndra and the other failed green energy companies to see what a bad deal looks like.  Keep hating on deals like this Democrats, the American workers, many of these folks union employees, are very thankful to Trump and will vote for him again. Unlike how Obama did nothing and allowed these companies and the jobs to leave for third world countries. Note to Democrats, this is what Making America Great Again looks like.
