DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz Says Politics Had Nothing to do With Obama’s Delay of Keystone XL Pipeline Until After 2014 Midterm Elections

LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE …

DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) was on ‘Meet the Press’ on Sunday spinning like a top. DWS told David Gregory that she does not believe that Barack Obama’s decision to delay the XL Keystone pipeline had nothing to do with politics. HAH! Seriously Debbie, the fact that it is referenced that a decision will be made at the earliest after the 2014 has nothing to do with politics? Sorry, but much like everything with Obama, it has everything to do with politics. This is just another example of Barack Obama kicking the political can of issues down the road and playing partisan politics and putting Democrats ahead of Americans. We know that the Keystone XL pipline construction will create primary jobs and secondary one’s from that. But that does not matter to the Food Stamp president.

DWS discusses Keystone XL Pipeline around the 4:00 mark

DWS went on to say, “It [Keyston XL pipeline] affects multiple states.  What’s also true is that incumbent senators like [Louisiana Democrat] Mary Landrieu understand the issues that are important on the ground in their states to their constituents.” Yes, they do and they do not appear to be happy.

XL_Keystone_Sen_Landrieu comments

This woman has the nerve to talk about Tea party extremists when Democrats and Barack Obama are pandering to the far-left wing environmental wackos in delaying the XL Keystone as even Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) stated, “Today’s decision by the administration amounts to nothing short of an indefinite delay of the Keystone pipeline. The decision’s irresponsible, unnecessary, and unacceptable. By making it clear that they will not move the process forward until there’s a resolution in a lawsuit in Nebraska, the administration is sending a signal that the small minority who oppose the pipeline can tie up the process in court forever.”

Meet the Press Transcript:

DAVID GREGORY: Are you worried, as the party chair, that this shouldn’t be resolved before the election because of the potential impact it could have on vulnerable Democrats?

REP. DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: As a member of Congress who represents hundreds of thousands of people in south Florida, I want to make sure that the right decision is arrived at. And that the president makes that decision carefully and he doesn’t factor politics into his decision, which I don’t think he is.

DAVID GREGORY: Is the issue in the fall a referendum on President Obama?

REP. DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: No, absolutely not. The–

DAVID GREGORY: It’s not?

I suppose the IRS targeting the Tea Party, blaming Benghazi on a video tape and delaying employee mandates for Obamacare were not political either.

Obama Administration Delays Once Again Final Decision on Keystone XL Pipeline … Play Politics Over Jobs for Americans

Barack Obama has made promises to Americans that jobs is his number one priority, but has done everything but …

The Obama administrations has once again kicked the can of American jobs down the road in place of playing politics.  Team Obama has once again delayed the decision on the XL Keystone pipeline on Good Friday and Easter weekend.  The decision now will most likely not be made until after the November midterm elections. How convenient. This is just another attempt to humor the far left and the environmental wackos to get their campaign dollars and votes. The Weekly Standard makes a valid and important point, “if the administration wanted the pipeline built, construction would have long since been underway … Witness the numerous executive fiats regarding the implementation of Obamacare.”

The Obama administration further delayed its decision on the controversial Keystone XL pipeline project on Friday, with no conclusion now likely until after the U.S. mid-term elections in November.

President Barack Obama has said he will have the final say on whether to allow the pipeline connecting Canada’s oil sands region to Texas refiners, and several government agencies had been given until May to weigh in. This had raised expectations of a final decision by mid-year.

But the State Department said on Friday it was extending that agency comment period, citing a need to wait until the Nebraska Supreme Court settles a dispute over what path the $5.4 billion TransCanada Corp project should take.

“That pipeline route is central to the environmental analysis for the project and if there are changes to the route it could have implications,” a senior State Department official told reporters.

UPDATE I: Keystone non-decision keeps some Democrats on the hot seat.

Politically, it seems like a great idea, since kicking Keystone down the road — probably long past November — is better than an outright rejection for vulnerable oil-state Democrats, whose voters love the proposed project. And it keeps environmentalists at bay, boosting hopes that President Barack Obama might still swing their way.

But the non-decision decision also makes life a little harder for several groups of Democratic senators and Senate candidates fighting for their lives.

Some, like Colorado Sen. Mark Udall, have yet to take a firm stance on the Alberta-to-Texas oil pipeline — and the State Department’s announcement Friday that it’s extending its review of the project removes the possibility that Obama could resolve the issue one way or another next month.

Meanwhile, pro-Keystone Democrats like Senate energy Chairwoman Mary Landrieu will face heightened pressure to take actions to match their rhetoric.

UPDATE II: Vulnerable Senate Democrat  Mary Landrieu, D-LA Speaks Out Against Keystone XL Pipeline delay.

Responded Landrieu, the newly installed chair of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee: “Today’s decision by the Administration amounts to nothing short of an indefinite delay of the Keystone Pipeline. This decision is irresponsible, unnecessary and unacceptable. By making it clear that they will not move the process forward until there is a resolution in a lawsuit in Nebraska, the administration is sending a signal that the small minority who oppose the pipeline can tie up the process in court forever. There are 42,000 jobs, $20 billion in economic activity and North America’s energy security at stake.” Landrieu said she plans to use her chairmanship of the Senate Energy Committee to try and move the project forward.

6 in 10 American Voters Believe Barack Obama Lies to the Country … #YOU LIE

Barack Obama, the Liar in Chief … There is a reason he is called the Lion Lying King.

According to a recent Fox News Poll, 6 in 10 American voters believe that President Barack Obama lies to the country on important issues most or some of the time. Just 6 in 10? Of course for many of us we can put one and one together and understand that Obama has been lying for years. However, what is most interesting from this poll is the number of Obama/Democrat key constituents that thinks he lies “most of the time” includes 13% of Democrats, 12% of blacks, 16% of liberals, 31%  of unmarried women and 34%  of those under age 30. OUCH!!!

Full poll results can be read HERE.

About six in ten American voters think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters some or most of the time, according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday.

Thirty-seven percent think Obama lies “most of the time,” while another 24 percent say he lies “some of the time.” Twenty percent of voters say “only now and then” and 15 percent “never.”

President Obama has been accused by political opponents and media fact-checkers alike of telling falsehoods.  Frequently cited: His repeated claim that under Obamacare “If you like your plan, you can keep it” and his insistence that “the day after Benghazi happened, I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism.”

Of course Obama’s biggest lie that will affect nearly every individual in the United States was his shameful lies regarding Obamacare and that, “If you like your plan, you can keep it” In fact it garnered him the Politfact 2013 Lie of the Year.  However, the lies have been so plentiful that it is almost impossible to list them. But with so many scandals during his presidency like Fast & Furious, Benghazi-gate and ITS-gate to name a few, are we really to believe that Barack Obama had no knowledge what was really going on? If his answer is he knew nothing, that would be a lie.

It would appear that Republican South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson was on to something when he yelled out, “you lie,” during Obama’s 2010 State of the Union Address.

Welcome to Obamaland: Food Stamp Recipients Outnumber Women Who Work Full-Time, Barack Obama … The Food Stamp President

Welcome to Barack Obama’s ‘Hope & Change’… welfare instead of jobs.

What happened to the country I grew up in, the Food Stamp edition. Since 1969 there has been a 1,552% increase in food stamp recipients. ARE YOU KIDDING!!! There were only 2,878,000 people on food stamps in 1969 as compared to the current 44,758,000. That is simply astonishing and unsustainable. The number of food stamp recipients has increased so much, that for 2012, the number of people participating in the food stamp program outnumbered the women who worked full-time, year-round in the United States.

Check out in the chart below the vertical red line increase of food stamp recipients since Obama took office in 2009. They don’t call Barack Obama the Food Stamp president for nothing. His moniker has been well earned. Also check out on the same chart the stagnate blue line of woman who work full time under Obama’s administration. This is Obamanomics and the real war on woman. Obama has been nothing more than an EPIC FAILURE!!! America, we better right this ship before it is too late.

FOOD STAMP BENEFICIARIES AND FULL-TIME FEMALE WORKERS-CHART 1

CNS News:

People participating in the food stamp program outnumbered the women who worked full-time, year-round in the United States in 2012, according to data from the Department of Agriculture and the Census Bureau.

In the average month of 2012, according to the Department of Agriculture, there were 46,609,000 people participating in the food stamp program (formally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). That contrasts with the 44,059,000 women who worked full-time, year-round in 2012, according to the Census Bureau’s report on Income, Poverty and Health Insurance Coverage in the United States.

For each woman who worked full-time, year-round in 2012, there was slightly more than 1 other person collecting food stamps.

In 2013, the average number of people on food stamps increased to 47,636,000. The Census Bureau will not publish its report on Income, Poverty and Health Insurance Coverage for 2013, which includes the data on women working full-time, until September.

The Department of Agriculture’s website lists the annual average number of food stamps participants going back to 1969. That year, there were only 2,878,000 people on food stamps. Since then, food stamps participants have increased by 44,758,000—or about 1,552 percent.

Protein Wisdom opines on some not so good coincidences between the Carter and Obama presidencies. Why exactly did you reelect this disaster?

For those into trivia, those three years (and 2013 is likely to join them as the fourth) took place under the Carter and Obama Administrations.

As did the ruthless arrogance of Muslim extremists and Communist Russians.

Again, probably just a coincidence — and even if it’s not, Obama’s reelection proves that women and minorities love them some other people’s shit, and don’t much care if that turns them, effectively, into slaves of the state.  Because they’ve been empowered by “self-esteem,” which allows them to justify and rationalize away their own near-permanent state of being.

House Oversight Committee Holds ex-IRS Official Lois Lerner in Contempt … Full House Vote to Follow

LOIS LERNER HELD IN CONTEMPT …

The House Oversight Committee voted 21-12 yesterday to hold former IRS official Lois Lerner in contempt for her refusal to answer questions regarding her role in the targeting of non-profit Conservative and Tea Party groups. The vote was along party lines. Democrats will rue the day that they voted in favor of defending Lois Lerner and the IRS controversy of specifically and intentionally targeting conservative groups. A note to Democrats voters, next time it could be you. As reported at Mediaite, Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said that they “need Ms. Lerner’s testimony to complete our oversight work and bring truth to the American people,” and they took the vote just a day after the House Ways and Means Committee sent a letter to the Justice Department recommending they consider criminal charges for Lerner. Don’t hold your breathe that Eric Holder will do anything. Lerner evoked her 5th Amendment Rights, not once, but twice … but not before she made a statement before the committee stating her innocence.

“I have not done anything wrong. I have not broken any laws. I have not violated any IRS rules or regulations and I have not provided false information to this or any other Congressional committee.”

A House panel voted along party lines to hold ex-IRS official Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress on Thursday, paving the way for a full House vote as Republicans turn up the heat on the woman at the center of the controversy over tax-exempt tea party groups.

If approved by the full House as expected, it would be one of about a dozen congressional contempt votes in the past 35 years. Republicans voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt over the Fast and Furious matter in 2012.

The House Oversight Committee voted 21-12 along in a straight party line vote to hold Lerner in contempt for refusing to answer questions about her role in the IRS tea party scandal that erupted last May. The full House is expected to follow suit in the coming weeks. Democrats compared the process to the 1950s when Sen. Joe McCarthy directed a series of contempt votes on Americans who refused questioning about what he called their “un-American” activities.

“We need Ms. Lerner’s testimony to complete our [investigation],” said Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.). “Taxpayers don’t get to plead the Fifth [Amendment] and escape all accountability when the IRS audits them. … It would irresponsible for the committee not to vigorously pursue her testimony.”
