Emperor Barack Obama to Republicans … “Win an Election” If You Want Change

Hmm, I guess Barack Obama must have missed the civics class that discussed the three branches of government and that the legislative branch consisted of the US Senate and House of Representatives.

From the Divider in Chief … Yesterday, the imperial president lectured Americans and the GOP stating, “Win an election” if you want change. Really? Talk about your double standards. Like Democrats have never pushed for change and their agenda with a GOP president. Is President Obama unaware that the GOP actually does have control of the House of Representatives? Last time I remembered there was a system of checks and balances withing our Republic to prevent exactly what Obama is espousing. Some one might also want to ask Emperor Obama if the same will be true in the future when the GOP has control of government? Is he saying that the minority party in office has no voice? Hey Barack, remember this little document called the US Constitution? Seriously, this guy is dangerous. This is what tyranny looks like America.

From NBC:

President Barack Obama challenged the GOP to end political brinkmanship and said Republicans should “win an election” if they so badly wish to change his policies.

In his first extended remarks since the government reopened, Obama said that the public has grown “fed up” with its government and urged lawmakers to move past the conflict of the past few weeks.

“To all my friends in Congress, understand that how business is done in this town has to change,” he said.

“You don’t like a particular policy or a particular president? Then argue for your position. Go out there and win an election,” The president said. “But don’t break it.

A note to Democrats, be very careful what you ask for or what your Obamamessiah says as you may be on the other end of the stick in the not too distant future and his words are going to come back and haunt you.

Million Vet March on Sunday, October 13, 2013 … Open the WWII Memorial to Our Hero Veterans!

March against tyranny and for our Veterans …

March with our veterans and the heroes that have made America free on Sunday, October 13, 2013 in Washington, DC.  The Million Vet March is going to take place t 9:00 a.m. at the World War II Memorial. Who has been disgusted by the actions  of Barack Obama and our government in closing down open air memorials that are normally open 24-7 like the WWII Memorial to Our Greatest Generation? Who does this? What kind of reprehensible, uncaring, malicious government actually closes an open air monument and prevents aged vets from seeing the memorial that honors them and their fallen soldiers?

What kind of a government does this to inflict pain on the people to win political points? How exactly does Barack Obama square these actions with laying a wreath at The Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery on Veteran’s Day?

Go to VET MARCH.com for all the details.

I want you to circle the date of Sunday, October 13, 2013.

And then I want you to help “circle the wagons” on that day to help protect and defend our brave veterans who risked their lives for our freedom – and now are being barred from visiting the memorials erected to honor their deeds.

In a mean-spirited fit of selfish anger, Barack Obama has shut down our nation’s war memorials. And he has declared open war on our honored veterans!

The World War II memorial … the Vietnam Veterans Memorial … the Korean War Veterans Memorial – Obama has shut them all down to force his will on the House of Representatives and frankly, to get revenge on the American people who oppose Obamacare and his other naked power grabs.

Let’s put it plainly: Barack Obama is behaving like a vicious tyrant. And if he succeeds in this assault on the democratic system, the Republic we love is at mortal risk. It’s just that simple.

That’s why I am asking you now to take two decisive moves to show Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi – and all of their oppressive ilk in Washington – that “We the People” are still in charge. And we won’t rest until we take back our memorials and monuments!

Gallup Poll: Americans’ Satisfaction With U.S. Gov’t Drops to New Low of 18% … 81% Dissatisfied

Imagine if People actually voted the way they felt rather than just for a party … With the record levels of American dissatisfaction with the current government, there is no reason why all incumbent politicians should not be primary challenged.

Can things get much worse for incumbent politicians? A recent Gallup poll has Americans at an all time low for government satisfaction as it drops to 18%. You have to try to get numbers this low. Across parties, Republicans have a 8% satisfaction rate, down 3%, Independents have a 15% satisfaction rate, down 11%, and Democrats have a 28% rate, down a whopping 26%. Of course I am trying to figure out who is the 18% who actually is satisfied with our government?

Eighteen percent of Americans are satisfied with the way the nation is being governed, down 14 percentage points from the 32% recorded last month before the partial government shutdown began. This is the lowest government satisfaction rating in Gallup’s history of asking the question dating back to 1971.

The real question that needs to be asked is whether this will affect the 2014 and 2016 elections and if incumbent politicians should be extremely concerned.

This Gallup poll is right in line with the recent NBC/WSJ Poll, where 60% of Americans Say That Every Member of Congress Should Be Fired.

NBC/WSJ Poll: 60% of Americans Say That Every Member of Congress Should Be Fired

Americans say a pox on both their houses … America, you voted these people in office, if you really feel this way, then vote then out!!!

According to a recent NBC/WSJ poll, 60% of Americans say that every member of Congress, including their own representatives, should be thrown out of office.  This is a little different from polls from the past where participants had wanted to keep their own representative, while tossing the rest to the curb. However, in today’s political environment … the people seem to be fed up with the lot of them. Americans want leaders and statesmen, not political machines that are more concerned with their power than the people.

Throw the bums out.

That’s the message 60 percent of Americans are sending to Washington in a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, saying if they had the chance to vote to defeat and replace every single member of Congress, including their own representative, they would. Just 35 percent say they would not.

The 60 percent figure is the highest-ever in that question recorded in the poll, registered in the wake of the government shutdown and threat of the U.S. defaulting on its debt for the first time in history. If the nation’s debt limit is not increased one week from now, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew warns that the entire global economy could be in peril.

The full poll can be read HERE.

Americans Down on D.C. Leaders Since Shutdown Began.

On a personal note, I would probably toss about 90 to 95% of Congress out of office and include the executive branch to that as well. America needs leaders, people who can do right by the country, not politicians who just want to stay in power at all cost, buy votes and pander to individuals creating division in a divide and conquer strategy. We need a reformed tax system that has all Americans who have skin in the game, not just 50% of the people.  We need term limits, we need a Government that has to abide by the same laws that they pass for “We the People” and we need more than anything a Government that is reminded that they work for us … It is supposed to be a government of, by and for the people.

UPDATE I: Americans find little to like in Washington.

Americans are finding little they like about President Barack Obama or either political party, according to a new poll that suggests the possibility of a “throw the bums out” mentality in next year’s midterm elections.

The AP-GfK poll finds few people approve of the way the president is handling most major issues and most people say he’s not decisive, strong, honest, reasonable or inspiring.

In the midst of the government shutdown and Washington gridlock, the president is faring much better than his party, with large majorities of those surveyed finding little positive to say about Democrats. The negatives are even higher for the Republicans across the board, with 4 out of 5 people describing the GOP as unlikeable and dishonest and not compassionate, refreshing, inspiring or innovative.

Negativity historically hurts the party in power – particularly when it occurs in the second term of a presidency – but this round seems to be hitting everyone. More people now say they see bigger differences between the two parties than before Obama was elected, yet few like what either side is offering. A big unknown: possible fallout from the unresolved budget battle in Washington.

In the end it is the American people who have the vote that determines whether all the bums should be thrown out of office. If this is how you truly believe, THEN JUST DO IT!!!

Failure of Leadership … President Barack Obama Approval Rating Drops to 37%

Americans are stating to blame everyone for the government shut down, however, President Barack Obama’s job approval rating just fell below 40%.

OUCH!!! According to the most recent Associated Press-GfK survey, President Barack Obama has a 37% job approval rating. The poll talks about the government shut down and who is to blame, but the eye popping data from this survey is that Obama’s approval numbers are now in the 30′s. However, as more and more Americans are seeing the arbitrary and heinous acts of the shut down, like closing the WWII Memorial to elderly vets in wheel chairs and stopping death benefits to our fallen soldiers … more and more people, including the MSM are starting to blame all, Democrats, Republicans and Obama for the shut down.

Obama_handonforehead

Asked if she blamed Obama, House Republicans, Senate Democrats or the tea party for the shutdown, Martha Blair, 71, of Kerrville, Texas, said, yes, you bet. All of them.

“Somebody needs to jerk those guys together to get a solution, instead of just saying ‘no,’” said Blair, an independent. “It’s just so frustrating.” It’s also costly: She’s paid to fly with a group to four national parks in Arizona and California next month and says she can’t get her money back or reschedule if the parks remain closed.

The poll found that the tea party is more than a gang of malcontents in the political landscape, as its supporters in Congress have been portrayed by Democrats. Rather, it’s a sizable — and divisive — force among Republicans. More than 4 in 10 Republicans identified with the tea party and were more apt than other Republicans to insist that their leaders hold firm in the standoff over reopening government and avoiding a default of the nation’s debt in coming weeks.

Most Americans disapprove of the way Obama is handling his job, the poll suggests, with 53 percent unhappy with his performance and 37 percent approving of it. Congress is scraping rock bottom, with a ghastly approval rating of 5 percent.
