Barack Obama and Democrats thought the 2010 midterm elections were a shellacking, 2014 might be even worse. According to a recent CNN poll, Democrats have lost all of their political advantage over the GOP for the 2014 elections. Republicans now hold a 49% to 48% lead in the generic ballot, which asked respondents to choose between a Democrat or Republican in their congressional district without identifying the candidates. Just last month Democrats held a 50%-42% advantage among registered voters in a generic ballot. This is a 10 point swing follows a political uproar over Obamacare, and Obama being caught lying to the American people that, “if you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan, PERIOD!” and instead 5 plus million people and counting have lost their healthcare coverage.

Just as Barack Obama and Democrats have suddenly distanced themselves from calling Obama’s signature piece of legislation Obamacare as it has become toxic. They also do not want you to call Obamacare a redistribution of wealth, when it obviously is. America, how else do you think that so many millions of uninsured poor people were going to miraculously get insurance, from the healthcare fairy? The fact of the matter is, that they knew it all along and demonized Republicans when they stated the truth. Now suddenly millions of Americans don’t like it when the redistribution of wealth, the money grab is not just from the rich, but from the middle class as well. We said a long time ago, be very careful what Obama and his band of socialist define as rich, it might just be you.

“Redistribution is a loaded word that conjures up all sorts of unfairness in people’s minds,” said William M. Daley, who was Mr. Obama’s chief of staff at the time. Republicans wield it “as a hammer” against Democrats, he said, adding, “It’s a word that, in the political world, you just don’t use.”

These days the word is particularly toxic at the White House, where it has been hidden away to make the Affordable Care Act more palatable to the public and less a target for Republicans, who have long accused Democrats of seeking “socialized medicine.” But the redistribution of wealth has always been a central feature of the law and lies at the heart of the insurance market disruptions driving political attacks this fall.

“Americans want a fair and fixed insurance market,” said Jonathan Gruber, a health economist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who advised Mr. Obama’s team as it designed the law. “You cannot have that without some redistribution away from a small number of people.”

This is just simply shameful and disrespectful. Israel is our greatest ally in the Middle East and a direct target of Iran. Just this past week in a speech, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei described Israel as “a rabid dog” and the public responded with calls of ‘Death to America! Death to Israel!’

Maybe Obama previously told Netanyahu that we have to pass the nuclear deal to see what’s in it and promised him that they can keep their same secure Israel, if they like it?

UNBELIEVABLE. No daylight? There is so much daylight you could drive a truck thru it, or a nuclear missile. This administration is just incapable of telling the truth on anything. This is just frightening. How in the hell did these people get reelected? The lied about taking over 1/6th of the United State’s economy with Obamacare, now they are doing the same with ours and Israel’s national security.

Yesterday, Democrats broke 225 years of precedent, when the U.S. Senate voted along Democrat partisan line 52-48 to invoke the so-called nuclear option allowing confirmation for most presidential nominees by simple majority. Some Democrats split with the party and voted against the change; however, the 52 votes were all of the Democrat party. Hmm, isn’t how we got Obamacare? What this does is the Senate voted to severely limit the use of the filibuster, one of the few tools a minority party has in our representative democracy. This was nothing more than a “Naked Power Grab.” As Dana Milbank writes, Congress wasn’t broken before, it certainly is now. What Reid (D-NV) and his fellow Democrats effectively did was take the chamber of Congress that still functioned at a modest level and turn it into a clone of the other chamber, which functions not at all. They turned the Senate into the House.

The Senate vote Thursday to lower the barriers for presidential nominations should make it easier for President Obama to accomplish key second-term priorities, including tougher measures on climate change and financial regulation, that have faced intense opposition from Republicans in Congress.

The move to allow a simple majority vote on most executive and judicial nominees also sets the stage for Obama to appoint new top officials to the Federal Reserve and other key agencies — probably leading to more aggressive action to stimulate the economy and housing market. And it frees Obama to make changes to his Cabinet without the threat of long delays in the Senate before the confirmation of nominees.
