Obamanomics & Job Recovery … Unemployment rates rose in 44 U.S. states in July Including 9 Battleground States
Just more evidence that the Obama jobs recovery and Obamanomics has been an epic failure.
Not only did the national US unemployment rise from 8.2% to 8.3% in July, but also the unemployment rates rose in 44 US states. That includes the increase in the unemployment rates in 9 battleground states like Nevada, that saw the rate rise to 12% in July from 11.6% and in Michigan, where the rate increased to 9% from 8.5%. Other battleground states that saw increases in the unemployment rates were Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Wisconsin and New Hampshire.
Unemployment rates rose in 44 U.S. states in July, the most states to show a monthly increase in more than three years and a reflection of weak hiring nationwide.
The Labor Department said Friday that unemployment rates fell in only two states and were unchanged in four.
Unemployment rates rose in nine states that are considered battlegrounds in the presidential election. That trend, if it continued, could pose a threat to President Barack Obama’s re-election bid in less than three months.
Nationwide, hiring improved in July after three months of tepid job gains. But the national unemployment rate ticked up to 8.3 percent from 8.2 percent. Monthly job gains have averaged 150,000 this year. That’s barely enough to accommodate population growth. As a result, the unemployment rate is the same as when the year began.
What is Obama’s answer, more stimulus money for infrastructure projects. Obama code for giving jobs to union workers. Even though Obama said in the past when his previous stimulus plan was a failure, there were no shovel ready jobs then or now. At best these are temporary jobs, not permanent.
More bad news for Obama and Democrats, Americans prefer the GOP to Democrats in trusting them to fix the economy.

Jimmy Carter to Speak Via VIDEO at Democrat National Convention, Oh Boy, Didn’t He Lose a Landslide Reelection during Bad Economy?
Jimmy Carter to remind Democrats that Obama is just an extension of his first failed term in office …
Wow, this will certain fire up the Democrat troops, former President Jimmy Carter will speak via video at the Democrat National Convention. Because Carter has been just so relevant. But then again why not have Carter speak at the event, isn’t Barack Obama really just Carter’s second failed term as President? This should be truly inspiring as Carter reminds us of the days of the misery he inflicted upon the American people and the subsequent landslide loss he had to Ronald Reagan when Carter ran for reelection. Independents watching the Democrat National Convention might be deciding among themselves who had the worst economic vision, Carter or Obama? Jimmy carter had the misery index, Obama has just provided misery for millions of out of work Americans.
Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama, Perfect Together
Former president Jimmy Carter won’t be attending the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, but he’ll address the gathering by videotape.
“Rosalynn and I regret that we will be unable to be at the Democratic Convention this year in Charlotte. However, we remain steadfast in our support for President Obama and the progress he will make in the next four years,” Carter said in a statement released by the Democratic convention.
Exit Question: Does Obama really want a president who is considered the biggest failure so that people watching can make comparisons between the two and the dude who lost in a landslide for reelection during a bad economy?

President Barack Obama Spends 51st Birthday, What Else … Golfing
President Barack Obama spent his 51st birthday, doing what else but golfing of course. This is nothing new and unusual, it will be Obama’s 104th round of golf since he became president as Obama played gold at Camp David. I am guessing that those Americans that are apart of the 8.3% and the 17% underemployment were kind of hoping that President Obama was actually going to keep his word that jobs were his number one priority. However, when Obama made fundraiser and golf a grater priority than meeting with his own Jobs Council, Americans probably think its time for change and Barack Obama can spend his next birthday no longer president.
Yup, I spend every waking hour fighting for you
In an email to supporters, Barack Obama warned that his birthday “could be the last one I celebrate as president of the United States, but that’s not up to me — it’s up to you.” Yes it is and its about time this country has a Commander in Chief and someone focused on the economy, not class warfare.

Obamanomics: July Unemployment Rate Up to 8.3% … 42 Straight Months Over 8%
The 2012 Presidential election is all about the economy and Barack Obama just got another bad jobs report. As reported at the WSJ, unemployment ticked up to 8.3% for July as only 163,000 jobs were added and a broader measure ticked up to 15%. This is the 42nd month in a row that the unemployment rate under President Barack Obama has been over 8%. This from the same President who stated that the $787 billion stimulus package would keep unemployment below 8%.
Nonfarm payrolls rose by a seasonally adjusted 163,000—the largest monthly gain since February—the Labor Department said Friday. The politically salient jobless rate, derived from a separate survey, ticked up to 8.3% from 8.2%.
Markets welcomed the news, powering the Dow Jones Industrial Average to its third-largest percentage gain of the year. The Dow, which had been down four consecutive days, rose 217.29 points, or 1.69%, to 13096.17 on Friday, its highest close since May 3. It was the largest one-day point and percentage gain since June.
As stated at the American Thinker, the jobs report gave Obama fodder to tout his awesome leadership and job creating. Sadly, the bar has been set so low for this presidents pathetic excuse of an economic recovery that people gush if job creation is over 100K. However, that paltry number does not even prevent the unemployment damn from leaking. Let’s put the meager jobs numbers into perspective, 163,000 represents an increase of 53 jobs per county in the United States in one month.
President Obama’s response to the uptick in the unemployment rate was to say that it really was only 8.254%. Really, is that all you got? That is the response to the millions of American out of work, who have lost their homes and businesses? If you want to get technical Barack, the real unemployment rate is much higher than 8.254% as the underemployment rate is 17%, those Americans who were foorced to take lesser and part time jobs to survive. Mull that over while you are golfing this weekend.

Rasmussen: Mitt Romney 49% – Barack Obama 44%, The Obamamessiah Cannot Get over 50%
Mitt Romney up by 5 over Barack Obama 49% to 44% in the latest Rasmussen poll. The incumbent President Obama cannot seem to get over 50%. Obama has a real problem, especially when by a 2 to 1 margin Romney is preferred over Obama to handle the economy, the number 1 issue of the 2012 election. Those undecided voters also agree overwhelmingly that Romney is better equipped to deal with the economy than Obama. Look for undecided voters to break 60-30 for Romney.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting 49% of the vote, while President Obama earns support from 44%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided.
The numbers are similar to the 49% to 43% advantage Romney enjoys on the question of who is trusted more to handle the economy.
