Thanks Barack Obama … More Than 1 Million Californians Having Insurance Cancelled Due To Obamacare

Hey Cali, how’s that “Hopey-Changey” stuff working out for you?

In the state of California that overwhelmingly voted for Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election 60% to 37% … as reported at CBS – Sacramento, more than 1 million cancellation notices will be sent to Californians because of  Obamacare. And you wonder why even liberal Democrat Senator DiFi is coming out demanding that there be a fix to Obamacare.

Train Wreck

Health insurer Anthem Blue Cross of California has agreed to a two-month extension of about 104,000 individual policies after failing to give the required 90-day cancellation notice, state Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones announced Tuesday.

The policies had been set to expire on Dec. 31 but will be extended until Feb. 28 for those who choose to re-enroll. Notices informing customers of the extension will be sent out this week, Anthem said.

More than 1 million cancellation notices have been sent to Californians as the Affordable Care Act begins allowing individuals to buy insurance through exchanges, Jones said. The federal law requires policies to offer minimum levels of coverage, forcing companies to terminate many existing plans. But Jones said that under the law, insurers have another year to do so.

Is Obama About to Break Another Pledge … Troubled HealthCare.gov Unlikely to Work Fully by Promised Date of End of November

From the WAPO, it would appear that President Barack Obama is about to break another pledge and promise to the American people as the disastrous Healthcare.fail website will not be fully functional by the end of November. Barack Obama and HHC Sec. Kathleen Sebelius promised that the web site would be fixed by by November. So what if it is not?

Software problems with the federal online health insurance marketplace, especially in handling high volumes, are proving so stubborn that the system is unlikely to work fully by the end of the month as the White House has promised, according to an official with knowledge of the project.

The insurance exchange is balking when more than 20,000 to 30,000 people attempt to use it at the same time — about half its intended capacity, said the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to disclose internal information. And CGI Federal, the main contractor that built the site, has succeeded in repairing only about six of every 10 of the defects it has addressed so far.

Government workers and technical contractors racing to repair the Web site have concluded, the official said, that the only way for large numbers of Americans to enroll in the health-care plans soon is by using other means so that the online system isn’t overburdened.

This inside view of the halting nature of HealthCare.gov repairs is emerging as the insurance industry is working behind the scenes on contingency plans, in case the site continues to have problems. And it calls into question the repeated assurances by the White House and other top officials that the insurance exchange will work smoothly for the vast majority of Americans by Nov. 30. Speaking in Dallas a week ago, President Obama said that the “Web site is already better than it was at the beginning of October, and by the end of this month, we anticipate that it is going to be working the way it is supposed to, all right?”

EXIT QUESTION from The White House Dossier: Let me ask you a question. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE ANYTHING THIS DAMN WHITE HOUSE SAYS, PARTICULARLY ON LIFE AND DEATH ISSUES LIKE IRAN? Amen Brother!!!

Democrats in Full Scale Panic … Congressional Democrats Give Barack Obama 72 Hour Ultimatum to Fix Obamacare or Else … Even Sen. DiFi Off Bandwagon

Barack Obama, the Divider in Chief appears to be dividing his own party: Just how bad is it for Barack Obama and Obamacare … Democrats are looking to break ranks with Obama and actually vote with the GOP.

As reported last night by Megyn Kelly on ‘The Kelly Files’ Congressional Democrats have reportedly given President Barack Obama a 72 hour ultimatum, Friday, to fix Obamacare significantly. If not, they supposedly claim that they will vote with Republicans in a bipartisan effort to fix the train wreck known as Obamacare.

Could it really be true? Are Democrats actually finally willing to break ranks with Obama to save their political skin? The roll out has been so disastrous with the malfunctioning Healthcare.gov website, woefully low amounts of individuals signing up and millions of Americans losing their insurance after Barack Obama had promised otherwise. However, yesterday former Bill Clinton gave the wink and nod to Democrats that it was okay to run long, deep and far away from Obamacare.

The Full VIDEO can be seen HERE.

It gets even worse for Barack Oabma, if possible. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), a Democrat who is not up for reelection in 2014, a liberal in the deep blue state of California that voted for Obama 60% – 37% in 2012, now says she will co-sponsor a bill by Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA), a Democrat who is up for reelection in 2014, to require insurance companies to continue offering their existing health care.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said Tuesday that she will co-sponsor a bill by Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) to require insurance companies to continue offering their existing health care plans — a way to make good on President Barack Obama’s promise that consumers can keep their current coverage if they like it.

“This bill provides a simple fix to a complex problem,” Feinstein said in a statement Tuesday, calling Landrieu’s proposal a “commonsense fix” and urged Congress to pass it “quickly.”

Feinstein’s support is more evidence that an increasing number of congressional Democrats are getting uneasy about last month’s bungled rollout of the health care law – Obama’s signature domestic policy achievement.

Democrats are demanding Obama to “fix” healthcare by Friday or they will vote with the House GOP on proposed legislation that “would allow insurance companies the option of continuing all existing health plans for a year.” However, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you can’t get your plan back that you were canceled from. Insurance companies acted in accordance with Obamacare regulations and canceled individuals plans to meet the requirements. They cannot all of a sudden mandate an insurance company to reissue the policies because Obama wants an Obamacare “Mulligan”.

Barack Obama and Obamacare Coattails, Um I Mean Anchor … Public Policy Polling Says Incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC) Poll Lead for 2014 Election Gone

Hmm, so DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz thinks that Democrats can run on Obamacare as a positive thing, eh?

Not only does Obamacare not have coattails for Democrats, it is an anchor that threatens to bring down the Democrat party worse than the shellacking they suffered during the  2010 midterms. Democrats are trying to distance themselves from Obamacare, but they certainly did not have a problem voting for it in lockstep and ramming it down the throats of Americans in a partisan manner. HR 3590, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act 60-39, one of those Democrat votes was Kay Hagen. passed in the Senate However, actions have consequences. The latest Democrat to feel the backlash of the disastrous roll-out of Obamacare and Americans losing their insurance, even though Barack Obama promised they could keep it if they like it is incumbent Democrat Senator Kay Hagan of North Carolina. According to  a recent poll from the Democrat polling firm PPP, Hagen’s lead for her 2014 senatorial election has all but vanished against all GOP candidates.

Obamacare anchor

Incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.) is near the top of national Republicans’ target list for 2014 — and a new poll shows her lead over her potential GOP challengers has all but evaporated.

Against state House Speaker Thom Tillis, Hagan leads by only 2 points, 44 percent to 42 percent, according to the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling. She leads the Rev. Mark Harris by 2 points as well, 43 percent to 41 percent, and nurse Heather Grant by 3 points, 43 percent to 40 percent.

Hagan trails physician Greg Brannon, the Rand Paul-endorsed candidate in the race, by 1 point: He leads 44 percent to 43 percent.

That’s a huge difference from PPP’s September poll, which gave Hagan leads of anywhere from 12 points to 17 points against all possible GOP challengers.

Hagan’s approval ratings are underwater in the poll: 49 percent of those surveyed disapprove of the job she’s doing, compared with 44 percent who approve.

The poll also suggests she could be suffering from the implementation of Obamacare: 69 percent of those surveyed said the law’s rollout has been unsuccessful so far, compared with 25 percent who say it’s been a success.

All of s sudden Sen. Kay Hagan is concerned for her political power and calls for probe of healthcare website as political support drops.

Now it would appear that the Democrats chickens are coming home to roost on their blind vote for Obamacare as none of them read the monstrous bill, instead they took Nancy Pelosi’s foolish advice that “we have to pass the bill to find out what is in it” (VIDEO). Hagen’s poll numbers are not only being affected by her underwater job approval numbers, Obama’s job approval numbers have cratered and the popularity of Obamacare and its implementation is at 69% unsuccessful. Keep in mind, those polled evenly voted for Obama and Romney in the 2012 presidential election.

Q1 Do you approve or disapprove of President Barack Obama’s job performance? 43% Approve … 53% Disapprove … 4% Not sure

Q2 Do you approve or disapprove of Senator Kay Hagan’s job performance? 44% Approve … 49% Disapprove … 7% Not sure

Q11 Do you approve or disapprove of the Affordable Care Act? 38% Approve … 48% Disapprove … 14% Not sure

Q12 Do you think the implementation of the Affordable Care Act so far has been very successful, somewhat successful, somewhat unsuccessful, very unsuccessful, or are you not sure?  4% Very successful … 21% Somewhat successful … 20% Somewhat unsuccessful … 49% Very unsuccessful … 7% Not sure

Q13 In the last presidential election, did you vote for Barack Obama or Mitt Romney? 47% Barack Obama … 47% Mitt Romney … 6% Someone else/Don’t remember

In 2014 there are 21 Democrat US Senators up for reelection, many of which are in Red/swing states. Those most in trouble have been clambering for Obama to fix the Obamacre train wreck as they fear for their political lives.

  • Alaska – Mark Begich
  • Arkansas – Mark Pryor
  • Colorado – Mark Udall
  • Louisiana – Mary Landrieu
  • Montana – Max Baucus (retiring)
  • South Dakota – Tim Johnson (retiring)
  • Virginia – Mark Warner
  • West Virginia – Jay Rockefeller (retiring)

Former President Bill Clinton Speaks … ‘President [Obama] Should Honor the Commitment’ and Let People Keep Their Insurance Plans as He Promised (VIDEO)

The Obama White House can’t like this … Power play and Civil War for the Democrat Party.

Former President and Democrat Grand Puba Bill Clinton has weighed in on the healthcare debate and the millions of Americans who have had their insurance plans canceled because of Obamacare and said that President Barack Obama should honor his promise to the People. Clinton, who favors Obamacare, made by Clinton in an interview with OZY founder Carlos Watson. This is going to be rather hard for the MSM to hide. The heck with the so-called infighting and disagreements between the Tea Party/Conservatives and the establishment GOP, we have a full scale Civil War and mutiny going on in the Democrat party for power.

“So I personally believe, even if it takes a change to the law, the president should honor the commitment the federal government made to those people and let them keep what they got,”

More from NewsBusters:

BILL CLINTON: Third problem is for young people mostly, but not all young who are in the individual market whose incomes are above 400 percent of the poverty level. They were the ones who heard the promise, “If you like what you got, you could keep it.”

I met a young man this week who has a family, two children, bought in the individual marketplace. His policy was cancelled and one was substituted for it that doubled his premium. Now, I asked him, I said, “Same coverage?” He said, “Yeah.” And I said, “But are your copays and deductibles the same?” He said, “No, they’re much, much lower.” So he said, “In the years when I use healthcare, I might actually save money.” But he said, “You know, we’re all young and we’re all healthy.”

So I personally believe, even if it takes a change to the law, the president should honor the commitment the federal government made to those people and let them keep what they got.

Rush Limbaugh: Obama agrees with Clinton that the dude Obama should keep his promise. (VIDEO).  (Oh wait, Obama and the other dude who should keep the promise is the same person)

RUSH:  The president has tasked his team with looking at a range of options.  Why, it’s the Limbaugh Theorem.  Obama agrees with Clinton.  He thinks he should keep his promise, too.  “Yeah, I do.  I think that guy who made that promise ought keep it.”  This is unreal!  Limbaugh Theorem right in front of your face.  Obama agrees with Clinton, that that guy Obama ought to keep his promise, and he’s working real hard to make sure that that guy Obama keeps his promise.

How ironic, or should I say politically calculating. Bill Clinton not only helped sell Obamacare to the American people, but also probably single handed got Barack Obama reelected in 2012 with his Democrat National Convention speech. Don’t think that Bubba doesn’t have some culpability with inflicting Obamacare on we the People as well.

Let’s face it, the only reason Slick Willy has weighed in has nothing to do with telling Obama that he should honor his pledge to the People that if they liked their healthcare plan, they can keep it. After all, it is not as though Bill Clinton never lied, but then again “it all depends on what is, is.” ,,,,But as correctly stated at Michelle Malkin, this is the beginning of Operation “Get Hillary as Far Away from This Train Wreck as Possible”. Yes it is.
