Senator Rand Paul (KY-R) Has His Own Obamacare Debacle … Exchange Enrolled His Son Automatically in Medicaid
WHAT A JOKE … EVEN US SENATORS CANNOT PROPERLY ENROLL ONTO OBAMACARE …
Senator Rand Paul discussed this past Sunday on ABC’s ‘This Week’ that even he had trouble signing up his family for Obamacare on the Kentucky state health exchange. So what happened when Paul attempted to sign his family up for Obamacare … why his son was immediately enrolled into Medicaid. Hmm, as Weasel Zippers opinies, “I’m pretty sure his son doesn’t qualify for Medicaid”. I think they would be correct. Can you imagine how many people have been incorrectly enrolled in a Medicaid plan? ,Or individuals that had a private healthcare plan and now have a Medicaid one?
Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that he’s had trouble signing up his own family through the Kentucky state health exchange.
“I tried to get my son signed up through the Kentucky exchange, you know, the one Democrats have said is so good, and I have here my son’s Medicaid card. We didn’t try to get him Medicaid,” Paul said.
Kentucky is the only state that voted for Gov. Mitt Romney in the 2012 election that created its own health exchange, and Democrats have repeatedly touted its effectiveness.
“I’m trying to pay for his insurance, but they automatically enrolled him in Medicaid. For a month they wouldn’t talk to us because they weren’t sure he existed. He had to go down to the welfare office, prove his existence, then the next thing we know we get a Medicaid card,” Paul said.

NBC’s Chuck Todd Says the Obama White House Would Rather Talk About Anything Other Than Obamacare
Barack Obama wants 2014 to be a year of action but in all the things referenced on the agenda, there was never any mention about Obamacare. On NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ over the weekend, Chuck Todd said that the Obama administration would rather talk about anything other than healthcare. Ya think? As RCP average polling shows, public approval for Obamacare is 37.8% for and 53% against or a -15.2%. Some polls like the CNN poll show only 35% approve and an astounding 62% are against the presidents signature piece of legislation.
If Todd thinks the White House does not want to talk about Obamacare, you could imagine how little the Democrat politicians up for reelection in 2014 who supported and voted for it want to discuss it.

GALLUP: Barack Obama’s Every Shrinking 2013 Job Approval Rating … Subtitled, Honey I Shrunk My Job Approval
Hmm, I sense a trend here … subtitled, ‘Honey, I Shrunk My Job Approval,’ or ‘Ive Fallen and I Can’t Get Up’.
President Barack Obama saw not only his job approval rating consistently fall in 2013, Obama saw his credibility do so as well as more and more Americans no longer think that “the Obamamessiah” is trustworthy. Barack Obama has earned his sinking job approval numbers which show no signs of really rebounding in 2014. Much of Obama’s decline in job approval comes from self inflicted wounds like the continuous scandals from his presidency like IRS-gate, NSA-gate and Benghazi-gate to name just a few. However, the biggest issue Obama will have to deal with is the Obamacare lie. That is not going away any time soon and Americans are going to be feeling the pain of this unpopular law and Obama’s signature piece of legislation for months and years to come. Obama’s poll numbers also have a reverse-coattails effect for Democrats in 2014 as Obama is more of and anchor weighing candidates running for election than a benefit.
President Barack Obama wrapped up 2013 with an average 41% approval rating in December, unchanged from November. However, his monthly job approval declined steadily through most of 2013, including a three-percentage-point drop in March.
Gallup’s three-day rolling averages of Obama’s job approval rating are especially helpful in identifying the events that likely contributed to his overall decline in popularity.
It has been less common to see sustained periods of significant decline during the normal course of a presidency, such as what Obama experienced this year, his fifth in office. The few examples of these from recent presidencies are.

Uber-Liberal Filmmaker Michael Moore Wrote Quite the OPDED in the New York Times New Years’ Day … “Obamacare is Awful”
WOW, Far-Left, socialist film maker Michael Moore says … The dirty little secret is OBAMACARE IS AWFUL!!!
In an Op-ed in the NY Times, ”The Obamacare We Deserve,’ Michael Moore wrote that “For many people, the ‘affordable’ part of the Affordable Care Act risks being a cruel joke.” We can all agree that Obamacare is awful; however, as Newsbusters points out, before you jump on the Michael Moore bandwagon and that a liberal, far-leftist socialist has come to their senses, you need to know first that Moore us for universal healthcare and a single payer and it should be 100% funded by you. Well, by those working individuals and 50% who pay income taxes.
Michael Moore calls Obamacare a loser
In an op-ed published at the New York Times, Moore wrote, “Obamacare is awful.”
“For many people, the ‘affordable’ part of the Affordable Care Act risks being a cruel joke,” added Moore. “The cheapest plan available to a 60-year-old couple making $65,000 a year in Hartford, Conn., will cost $11,800 in annual premiums. And their deductible will be $12,600. If both become seriously ill, they might have to pay almost $25,000 in a single year.”
I love how Moore put quotation marks around the word “affordable.” I’ve been doing it for years concerning this atrocious law.
But before you get excited thinking this leftist has suddenly come to his senses, be advised that you’re probably not going to agree with Moore’s reasons for disliking the “Affordable Care Act.”
Why?
Because he’s for universal health insurance funded by the roughly 50 percent of Americans that pay income taxes, of course.
BARACK OBAMA’S GOAL IS SINGLE PAYER, UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE
Obama is a “proponent of single payer, universal healthcare … We may not get there immediately.”
Moore’s full New York Times OPED can be read HERE ... ‘The Obamacare We Deserve’. Isn’t it incredible that Moore blames the right-wing for Obamacare’s flaws. However, Moore is stating a fact when he says that Barack Obama’s end goal was single payer, universal healthcare in the United States. However, Obama knew that would never fly, so his plan all along was to slowly morph into it. The problem is for many, including the LEFT, Obamacare as a stop-gap to single payer is “AWFUL”.
I believe Obamacare’s rocky start — clueless planning, a lousy website, insurance companies raising rates, and the president’s telling people they could keep their coverage when, in fact, not all could — is a result of one fatal flaw: The Affordable Care Act is a pro-insurance-industry plan implemented by a president who knew in his heart that a single-payer, Medicare-for-all model was the true way to go. When right-wing critics “expose” the fact that President Obama endorsed a single-payer system before 2004, they’re actually telling the truth.
What we now call Obamacare was conceived at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, and birthed in Massachusetts by Mitt Romney, then the governor. The president took Romneycare, a program designed to keep the private insurance industry intact, and just improved some of its provisions. In effect, the president was simply trying to put lipstick on the dog in the carrier on top of Mitt Romney’s car. And we knew it.
But before anyone starts touting the single payer healthcare system, how is Medicare and Medicaid working for America other than bankrupting it!!!
AND THE LIES JUST CONTINUE … Now the Obama White House is Saying that 7 Million Signups for Obamacare by March Was Never Their Goal
If the Obama White House minions mouths are moving, you can rest assured they are lying …
How bad is it when even MSNBC is trying to hold the Obama White House’s feet yo the fire as to Obamacare signup goals and questions the truthfulness of Obama’s minions? White House adviser for health policy Phil Shiliro said to MSNBC that the goal for Obamacare was never 7 million signups by March, that was just some arbitrary number from the CBO. What a joke, Schiliro denied that the Obama administration ever set Obamacare enrollment goals of 7 million consumers or that benchmarks were necessary. Really, no benchmarks, I guess we can see why the roll-out and entire concept of Obamacare is a disaster.
What a shock, the Obama administration is moving the goal post once again. The GOP has stated that Obama was infamous for doing this, yet Americans paid no attention. I bet they are now. It is fair to say that nothing from the Obama administration can be trusted.
Transcript:
WELKER: Are you confident that you’re going to be able to meet your target of getting 7 million people by the end of March? And is that still your target number
SCHILIRO: Well, that was never our target number. That was a target that was put out by the Congressional Budget Office and has become the accepted number. But there’s no –
WELKER: Well Kathleen Sebelius has said 7 million people, that that’s the goal.
SCHILIRO: But that was because it came from the Congressional Budget Office and it had become an accepted number. There’s no magic to the 7 million. What there is magic to is that in the month of December, a million Americans signed up for insurance. Not because they had to. They didn’t face a penalty if they didn’t. They signed up because they wanted insurance on Jan. 1.
But wait, what do you mean that 7 million was not the goal? That is the number that HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius stated was the target back in June 2013. But ever since then the White House has lowered the bar and now they have lowered it so much they claim there were no benchmarks. Next thing you know Obama’s minions will be touting negative signups.
Sebelius on Monday said 7 million is a “realistic target.”
“We’re going to be driving our efforts toward that kind of enrollment effort,” she said. “It’s both about numbers and also hopefully getting a balanced risk pool.”
VIDEO below shows HHS Sec Sebelius agreeing with the 3 million target
But what makes it all worse is that not even the so-called 2.1 million who think they have enrolled in Obamacare, really have not. So they are referring to enrolled as individuals who have signed up but may not have paid their premium. How does one have coverage or considered enrolled if they have not paid? So on January 1, 2013 the new set of challenges will begin. How many people think they have insurance coverage; however, do not?
With President Obama’s health care law scheduled to begin in earnest when the new year kicks off, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius claimed on a Tuesday conference call that as of Dec. 28, “2.1 million people have enrolled in a private insurance plan” through the program.
Later in the call, Sebelius emphasized that enrollments wouldn’t be completed until individuals paid their first month’s premiums.
But HHS officials still won’t disclose how many of the 2.1 million they claim enrolled through the federal healthcare.gov website or one of the state-based exchanges actually paid for coverage.
Though Sebelius left the call before the question-and-answer session, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services spokeswoman Julie Bataille declined several times to provide payment information.
