More Lack of Presidential Sacrifice: Barack Obama Takes 20 Man, 10 Car Motorcade to visit childhood friend in Hawaii

Sacrifice?

President Barack Obama once again shows Americans what it means to sacrifice, NOT!  How is any one supposed to follow this president when he does not sacrifice himself? If one cannot lead by example, they cannot lead.

I wonder what the little people are doing

Once again Barack Obama shows a lack of leadership and failure to set an example for the American people. The do as I say, not as I do president thought it perfectly ok to spend “The People’s money” and have a 10 vehicle, 20 man motorcade, across highways cleared of traffic to reach his childhood friend Bobby Titcomb’sbeachfront house. What? Who does this? How does a president in the midst of a terrible economy who tells others to sacrifice continue to fail to set an example and just tell the people to “eat cake”.  Then again, who spends $1.4 million on a vacation in a recession? Obama learned so much from last year. Face it America, he just does not care.

Obama tells Stephanopoulos everyone must sacrifice … “everyone is going to have to sacrifice and have skin in the game”

Far be it from this president to sacrifice and think about not spending the tax payers money and just have invited his friend to where Obama was staying. Because that would just make too much sense. If that occurred Obama could not inconvenience every one with his motorcade and waste tax payers dollars, After all, he’s not spending his money.

President Obama provoked fresh outrage today after taking a 20-man motorcade to visit a childhood friend during his lavish Christmas holiday in Hawaii.

As Americans Struggle with 9.8% Unemployment, Obama & Family on Multi-Million Dollar Christmas Vacation in Hawaii

While Americans struggle, Obama and the first family are living La Vita Loca on vacation in Hawaii spending millions … Its good to be King.

Everybody must sacrifice and have skin in the games, except Barack Hussein Obama

Nobody questions a president’s right or need to take take away from the White House, but there is something just inherently wrong with a president spending millions on an extended vacation while millions of individuals are unemployed, people continue to  lose their homes, record number of individuals and families are on food stamps and “We the People” are faced with 9.8% unemployment.  How is it that no WH aide says to Obama … “dude, this just ain’t right”.

There is something just not quite right with the look and the example that this displays to the country.  The fact that President Obama sees no issue with spending millions on an over the top vacation while so many struggle to provide common necessities to their families is disturbing. This president is out of touch with the American plight and seems to just not care. Obama can claim he is for the working man by extending unemployment to the 99′ers, he can claim he is for the middle class by extending the Bush era tax cuts; however, the perception of this president vacationing in the lap of luxury while the lapdog MSM are more concerned with shirtless Obama pics than the “just plain wrong”vision of living life and vacationing to the utmost as America suffers.

A president should set an example and have a clue as to what the mood of a country is. How is it that our government tells us to sacrifice and that because of the spending of politicians that all citizens will have to suffer with debt reduction … why does Obama not have to limit himself and have some pain as well? Obama acts as if every one else owes him a living, a vacation and golf. Where is his sacrifice? How is it that this president who claims he is for the people, has never done one thing to show Americans that he “feels their pain?” Instead, time after time, he is out playing golf or his wife is off on gala lavish vacations.

From the Washington Examiner and the Hawaii Reporter comes the following costs for Obama’s “Winter White House”.

CNN Poll: More Americans Believe Obama’s Radical Agenda Will Fail & Trust GOP Congress Over Obama to Handle Issues

Who said Obama was the come back kid and on a rebound?

In the most recent CNN/Opinion Research poll, more Americans believe that Barack Obama’s radical policies will fail. Just one year ago a majority of Americans thought Obama’s policies would succeed. However, that was until they fully realized what his radical policies were all about.  Also, Americans have confidence in Republicans over Barack Obama, 40% to 35%,  to handle the problems facing the country.

Full CNN poll results HERE(pdf).

President Barack Obama enters the new year with a growing number of Americans pessimistic about his policies and a growing number rooting for him to fail, according to a new national poll.

But a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Wednesday also indicates that while a majority of the public says Republican control of the House of Representatives is good for the country, only one in four say the GOP will do a better job running things than the Democrats did when they controlled the chamber.

As stated at the Politico,  61% percent of Americans surveyed said they hope Obama’s policies succeed. As compared to a year ago,  71%  hoped for Obama’s policy success. What Weasel Zippers said, “Succeed at what? Destroying the country?”

The 2010 midterm election pickups in the House and Senate were a direct result because of the fact that the American public wanted Obama’s policies stopped. If they wanted them to really succeed as implemented by Obama, the Democrats would not have suffered such catastrophic loses. The people also do not believe that Obama believes in American “exceptionalism”. Obama faces some serious problems in 2012 because in the end, “We the People” do not believe in or trust him to handle matters.

Gallup: 38% of Americans Doubt Barack Obama Believes in U.S. “Exceptionalism”

The state run MSM can spin Obama’s rebound all they want … President  Barack Obama has some serious problems with the American voters. A vast amount of Americans believe in American exceptionalism, while they do not believe Obama does as well. There’s something that folks actually

In a recent Gallup/USA Today poll, 80% of Americans think that America “has a unique character that makes it the greatest country in the world.” However, more than one third say President Obama does not share that belief of “American exceptionalism”. Only 58% believed that Obama shared the “exceptionalism” belief as compared to past Presidents like Reagan, Clinton and GWB at 86%, 77% and 74%, respectively.

On the whole, Americans, by 58% to 37%, believe Obama thinks the U.S. is exceptional, consistent with what he and his advisers maintain. But Americans are less likely to believe Obama holds this view than they are to think the same about Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.

When the electorate do not trust that Obama believes in exceptionalism, Obama has a serious problem

Americans who identify as Republicans, likely reflecting the opinions of some of their party’s leaders, are especially dubious that Obama regards the U.S. as exceptional. Thirty-four percent of Republicans believe the president thinks the United States is the greatest country in the world, while 61% believe he does not. Democrats are much more confident that Obama regards the United States as exceptional, while the majority of independents agree.

Obama & Biden: So Long to Ya, 2010 from JibJab

JibJab does their 2010 year in review complete with Obama and Biden muppets. Honestly, knowing how funny the folks from JibJab are, they could have done much, much better. With all the screw ups, failure to live up to campaign promises and spending this country into oblivion with near 10% unemployment … there could have been much, much more. What no reference to endless golfing?

Hmm, this year end in review kinda lame compared to the 2009 one. JibJab’s best effort still is ‘This Land’, all other pale in comparison.
