With friends like Joran Van der Sloot, who needs enemies? Daury Rodriguez has come forward to deny any allegations that he had any involvement with Joran Van der Sloot in May 2005 in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

People have to remember that there is a little truth in every story and lies as well. Just because this part of Joran’s story appears to be false does not make the rest of his admissions the same. Joran Van der Sloot specifically said that he would never name the name of the person who helped him. He would take it to his grave. Why did Joran Van der Sloot Mention on Video Tapes … That is Parents Had no Involvement in Disposing of Natalee Holloway’s Body?

So what do Bill Clinton and Joran Van der Sloot have in common? They both made some rather strange and peculiar denials. During ABC’s showing of the Peter R. De Vries tapes last night Joran Van der Sloot made a rather interesting and peculiar comment that was unsolicited. While just talking and discussing the case, Joran Van der Sloot out of the clear blue stated that his parents had no involvement in the disposal of Natalee Holloway’s body. Funny, no one asked him that question whether they were involved. So why make that comment?

That coupled with the statement that he would never give up the name of the person who helped him, he would take it to his grave raised just a few eye brows.

Why would some one’s first reaction be to dispose of a body rather than getting medical help for a person? Those who are victims of accidents have medical help called for them, victims of crimes are disposed of. It’s as simple as that Joran Van der Sloot.

Beth Holloway initially described you as cocky, nasty and rotten. The Peter R. De Vries tapes have vindicated Beth and have shown you for what you truly are. An uncontrollable person capable of doing and saying anything.

Update I:  Joran van der Sloot is now a formal suspect in the murder of Natalee Holloway according to Dutch news sources.

Het Openbaar Ministerie (OM) op Aruba verdenkt Joran van der Sloot nu formeel van moord op de verdwenen Amerikaanse Natalee Holloway. Dat liet justitie vanavond weten. Het OM kondigde ook aan dat Joran zal worden gearresteerd als hij voet op Arubaanse bodem zet. Vanavond liet het OM al huiszoekingen doen.

The judge of instructions in Holland refused the petition of the prosecution in Aruba to make the pretrial arrest of Joran. He did not see “sufficient new evidence” in the tapes. The prosecution has, of course, appealed the decision. That, according to a press release issued by the prosecution last night in English and Dutch.
 
I did not see the tv show because it was unavailable here. I did follow it via a radio station in Aruba (canal 90) with a lot of static and noise that made it practically impossible to follow all the recorded conversations of Joran with Patric van Eems. However, I did hear him say that he was involved in Natalee’s disappearance (that she died in his arms!) and that he threw her body in the ocean, aided by a friend. The friend that he mentioned by name afterwards has come forward to deny that he had anything to do with it.
