Mary Nunes Missing Since 2004 from New Hampshire Finally Found Trying to Enter the United States … 50 Year Old Scott Kelley Arrested for Non-Custodial Kidnapping

19 year old Mary Nunes found after a decade …

Mary Nunes has been missing since November 2004 in New Hampshire when at the age of 8 years old, she was kidnapped and taken to Costa Rica by her step father Scott Kelley and mother amid a custody dispute in 1996. The girls mother claimed she did so because the father, who had full custody was abusive. However, the authorities never believed those claims and never filed any charges against the missing girls father.  Mary Nunes had been missing more than a decade when authorities got a tip that Scott Kelly and Mary Nunes were attempting to gain passports to return to the United States. The authorities allowed them both to be issued temporary passports and when they arrives to the United States.

50 year old Scott Kelly was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia by US Marshall’s last Wednesday at 2PM. Kelly is currently in custody at a Clayton County jail and awaiting to be extradited to New Hampshire where he will face kidnapping charges of an 8 year old girl. Mary Nunes’ mother, Genevieve Kelley, had previously returned to the US in 2014 and turned herself in to the authorities.   Genevieve Kelley remains on track for a May 8 trial after Judge Peter Bornstein on March 24 denied a motion to dismiss the state’s charge of custodial interference pending in Coos County.

According to a spokesperson with the U.S. Marshals, 50-year-old Scott Kelly has been wanted in New Hampshire since November 2004 when he was accused of the non-custodial kidnapping of Mary Nunes, who was 8-years-old at the time.

Police say that on April 13, Kelly and Nunes, now 19, went to the U.S. Consulate in Costa Rica to request passports to return the U.S. It was at this time that police say they discovered the warrant for Kelly and realized Nunes was reported missing.

Police say a temporary passport was issued for both Kelly and Nunes and they were allowed to return to the U.S. When they arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport around 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, police say Kelly was immediately arrested.

51 Year Old Iona Costello & Her 14 Year Old Daughter Emily Costello Missing Since 3/30/15 in Manhattan, NY (Update: Found Safe)

51 year old Iona Costello and her 14 year old daughter, Emily  Costello, have been missing since March 30, 2015 after they traveled to Manhattan, NYC  and never returned. Iona and Emily are from Greenport where she owns a farm on the North Fork.  A family member Jane Costello said that Iona and Emily went to New York City  to see some shows and parked their car in a garage on 3/30/2015. Surveillance video captured Costello and Emily walking out of the Midtown parking garage. Iona Costello and Emily Costello were reported missing on Tuesday, after Emily was absent from school following the spring break. Southold Police said Iona Costello is 5-foot-10, 120 pounds and blonde and her  daughter is 5-foot-8, 110 pounds.

According to further reports, calls to their cellphones have gone unanswered and there has been no activity on the mother’s credit cards.

An East End farm owner and her 14-year-old daughter vanished in Manhattan last month after what relatives thought was going to be a short visit to see a few shows.

Cops are looking for Iona Costello, 51, a well-known equestrian from Greenport, and her daughter, Emily, a student at the posh Ross School in East Hampton.

They haven’t been seen since March 30, said Diana Malcolmson, the mother of Iona.

Relatives filed a missing-persons report when Emily didn’t return to school on Tuesday.

Police found their car in a parking garage on 42nd Street Wednesday night, and they appeared happy in surveillance video, Malcolmson said.

UPDATE I: Cops have no leads on missing Long Island mother and daughter after they vanished in New York City.

Could this be a possible reason for the two’s disappearance. According to reports, Emily is Iona Costello’s only child.

“The first thing we look for in these types of investigations is telephone calls, emails and credit card use,” Southold Town Police Chief Martin Flatley told the Daily News.

“We have nothing.”

“We’ve heard different theories from different people,” Flatley added. “It’s all speculation at this point.”

Costello, who runs a horse farm in the quaint seaside town on the tip of the North Fork, has been “under a lot of stress” fueled by a legal battle over her dead husband’s will, a family member told The News.

Costello was married to George Costello Sr., a construction manager who died of a heart attack on Dec. 28, 2012.

The will signed by the thrice-married George Costello, 63, who co-owned Costello Marine Contracting, which builds docks and bulkheads, left everything to Iona and Emily.

The will is being contested by four children from his previous marriages, records show.

“She can’t sell anything. She can’t do anything because everything is in court,” the family member said of Iona. “She’s been under a lot of pressure.”

Still, the relative said family members have no clue what might be behind the Costellos’ disappearance.

“I don’t know if she’s having a nervous breakdown. I don’t know if somebody has kidnapped them,” the relative said.

“We have no idea. The family is berserk.”

The Costello family has asked anyone with information to call the Southold Town Police Department at 631-765-2600.

UPDATE I: Found Safe in NYC.

The Colorado Spring Fire Department and other agencies have spent two days searching for the mom of a deceased Air Force Academy cadet, but there is still no sign of her.

UPDATE II: Search For Missing Mother Ends In Tragedy After Body Is Found.

On the fourth day of searching for a missing woman, volunteers made a grisly discovery in Cheyenne Canon.

Capt. Steve Oswald with the Colorado Springs Fire Department said it was a member of a citizen search party who spotted a woman’s body in a rugged, steep area not far from the Gold Camp Reservoir.

All indications point to the deceased being Ksenia Quiros, Oswald said, though the official confirmation won’t come until an autopsy is completed.

It was the outcome the community was praying wouldn’t come for a family now twice hit by tragedy, starting with the untimely death of their 19-year-old son. On April 2, Air Force Academy Cadet 1st Class Alexandre Quiros passed away after being found in his dorm room with unspecified injuries. 28 year old Ashley Pegram has been missing since April 3, 2015 in Dorchester County, South Carolina after she went out on a date she met via the instant messaging service Kik. Pegram, a mother of three who lives in the Clemson Terrace neighborhood near Summerville, left home about 9:30 p.m. on her date and has not been seen nor heard from since.  According to the incident report from the Sheriff’s Office, Pegram’s family identified the user name of the 18-year-old man she went out with. Really, Ashley Pegram was heavily intoxicated so her date kicked her out of the car around midnight? Who is he, Joran Van der Sloot? This story is hardly believable. Police believe that foul play may be involved. Ya think?

UPDATE I: Man who went out on date with missing  Ashley Pegram identified as 18-year-old Emoney Dom of Hanahan.

An incident report states the woman’s sister found text messages between Pegram and her date, who identified himself on the dating application as 18-year-old Emoney Dom of Hanahan.

Dom reportedly told the sister that he kicked Pegram out of his car near a Kangaroo Gas Station on Main Street in Berkeley County around midnight.

Detectives are continuing to investigate Dom’s involvement.

Deputies say Pegram was last seen in the early morning hours of April 4 at a gas station on College Park Road. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Foul play is “a definite possibility,” Dorchester County deputies say.

Deputies say the Summerville woman was reported missing by family on April 4. Family members say they last saw Pegram on Friday, April 3 around 9 p.m. when she left to go on a date with an unknown man that she was talking with on the social media site “Kik.”
