20 Year Old Holly Bobo Missing in Decatur County, TN After Man Dressed in Camouflage Breaks into House (UPDATE: Led Into Woods, Not Dragged)

20 year old Holly Bobo is missing in since 7:30 am Wednesday morning, April 13, 2011 at her home on Swan Johnson Road in Darden, TN when she was kidnapped and dragged off from the carport of her home in Decatur County, TN. Bobo, a nursing student was reported to be dragged off into the woods by a man wearing camouflage.

According to accounts, Holly Bobo’s brother witnessed her being abducted and called 911. The rural town of  Darden, TN is in shock and searching for the missing 20 year old.

Holly Bobo was dragged “across the carport of her home… toward a wooded area” in the town of Parsons on Wednesday, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Both Bobo’s mother and 25-year-old brother watched the woman being abducted and called 911.

Holly Bobo is 5 feet 3 and weighs 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans.  Bobo is a cousin of Whitney Duncan, a country music singer and a finalist on the television talent show Nashville Star. Duncan tweeted, Thanks for all the prayers & please keep spreading the amber alert. Love y’all.”

“My cousin Holly was kidnapped this morning,” Duncan wrote on Facebook. “Please pray for her & our family. This is really sad & shocking.”

Police believe that Bobo was the victim of a home invasion. The search continues …  The TBI’s Violent Crime Response Team joined local and neighboring law enforcement. Bobo’s brother was inside the house, watching the horror unfold from a window, authorities said.

Authorities fear Bobo is a victim of a home invasion and abduction.

“I would tell her I love her, and tell her to call us,” said her father, Dana Bobo, when asked what he would say to his daughter.

UPDATE II: $25,000 Reward Offered In Missing Woman Case

The family of a missing woman held a tearful news conference Thursday afternoon as the sheriff of Decatur County announced a $25,000 reward for details that help lead to her safe return. The nursing student was last seen being dragged from the carport of her home by a man wearing camouflage clothing.
