13 Year Old Hailey Darlene Dunn Missing in Colorado City, Texas Since 12/27/2010

13 year old Hailey Darlene Dunn, a student and cheerleader at Colorado City Middle School in Colorado City, Texas, has been missing since December 27, 2010. According to reports, Hailey Darlene Dunn was supposed to visit a friend’s house; however, never made it. According to KTXS News, the friend that Hailey was supposed to spend the night, she had not made any plans for Hailey to spend the night and was unaware she was coming over.

Texas police are investigating several tips in the case of a 13-year-old girl who was reported missing after she failed to return from a friend’s home.

Hailey Darlene Dunn, a student and cheerleader at Colorado City Middle School in Colorado City, Texas, was last seen on Dec. 27, according to authorities.

The girl was thought to be spending the night at a nearby friend’s home, but was reported missing the next day by her mother, Billie Dunn, when she did not return home.

Police say they tried to issue an Amber Alert but were unable to do so because there is “not enough information” on Hailey’s disappearance.

Hailey Darlene Dunn’s mother’s boyfriend, Shawn Adkins, was the last person to see Hailey Darlene Dunn before she went missing on December 27. Police have also verified that Adkins has been given a polygraph test.

Officials confirmed Wednesday that Shawn Adkins, the boyfriend of Hailey’s mother, has been administered a polygraph test. He was reportedly the last person who saw Hailey before she disappeared on Dec. 27.

Officials also confirmed that Hailey’s home was searched Wednesday for any clues that may have been missed earlier.

The search was conducted by the Texas Rangers, who looked through the home then spent 10 minutes in an outdoor storage shed.
