RSSSearch Continues for Family Missing Since Sunday, 12/8/13 in Snow & Cold in Northwest Nevada: James Glanton, 34, Christina MacIntee, 25, His Two Children Evan Glanton & Chloe Glanton, and MacIntee’s Niece and Nephew, Shelby Fitzpatrick & Tate McIntee (Update: All Found Alive & Safe)
The race is on against snow and cold temperatures to find a family of six who are missing in the Northwest mountains of Nevada.
Rescue teams racing against the clock and the bitter cold to find 34 year old James Glanton, his girlfriend 25 year old Christina McIntee, his two children, Evan Glanton and Chloe Glanton, and Christina’s niece and nephew, Shelby Fitzpatrick and Tate McIntee. The four missing children are ages, a 10 year old, two 4 year olds and a 3 year old. The six disappeared in the Seven Troughs mountain range on a snow outing to play in the snow.
The family has not had any communication with others since they went missing, according to Sheila Reitz of the sheriff’s office.
They went to the Seven Troughs area on isolated federal land about noon on Sunday in a silver Jeep with a black top, authorities said. It was unclear what supplies they might have been carrying.
“I’m hoping they all huddled together and stayed in the Jeep,” said Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chuck Allen, who added that the area has spotty cellular coverage. “That would be a best-case scenario.”
Frigid weather gripping much of the United States led to a frenzied search in northwest Nevada, where rescue teams are searching a mountainous area for two adults and four children who went to play in the snow and never returned.
James Glanton, 34, and Christina MacIntee, 25, are missing, along with Glanton’s two children and MacIntee’s niece and nephew. The children are 3 to 10 years old, the Pershing County Sheriff’s Office said.
The group set out Sunday for Seven Troughs mountain range and haven’t been seen since.
Fears intensified as the temperature plummeted to below zero.
Amanda Fitzpatrick, mother of 10-year-old Shelby Fitzpatrick, has joined the search in the freezing cold.
“It’s been extremely hard, probably the hardest 24 to 36 hours of my life,” she told CNN’s Piers Morgan. “It’s my baby girl.”
UPDATE I: Extreme cold raises concerns for missing family in Nevada.
Temperatures in storm-stricken parts of the country were expected to remain 10- to 20 degrees below normal for the remainder of the week, the National Weather Service said.
Overnight temperatures in Lovelock, Nev., near the mountain range were below zero, WeatherUnderground.com indicated.
UPDATE II: FANTASTIC NEWS OUT OF NEVADA … CNN is reporting that all six missing family members have been found alive and well!!!
A family of six survived two days in wintry Nevada mountains by starting a fire and then bringing warm rocks into their overturned Jeep, preventing frostbite to the couple and four small children, local residents said Tuesday.
When three residents finally found the family and their vehicle during a massive search, the family had little food left, so resident Salvador Paredes pulled a candy bar from his pocket and shared it with them, Paredes said.
The group was found safe in an area called Trinity Canyon, according to the Pershing County Sheriff’s Office. They were discovered from a distance by a volunteer searcher using binoculars to scan mountainsides, the sheriff’s office said. It wasn’t immediately clear which of the three residents made the discovery.
All six were in stable condition with “no frostbite, just some exposure issues,” said Patty Bianchi, CEO of Pershing General Hospital. The family consists of a man and woman who have two children together; the woman also was traveling with her nephew and niece, the sheriff’s office said.
UPDATE III: 6 missing adults, children found alive in Nevada.
“Their father kept them alive and well,” said Patty Bianchi, CEO of Pershing General Hospital, where the six were taken. “Everybody is in good shape. There was no frostbite. They are stable. They suffered a little exposure and dehydration, but that is all.”
About 100 well-wishers lined the street outside the hospital and broke into cheers when two of the smallest children were taken from an ambulance. The others walked into the hospital on their own.
“The mood where I’m at’s ecstatic,” said Col. Tim Hahn of the Civil Air Patrol, which used several planes to search for the group. “We are thrilled beyond words.”

13 year old Samantha Dodson has been missing since December 3, 2013 in Oregon City, Oregon. Samantha Dodson was last seen Tuesday night and may be traveling with a 40-year-old transient man, Kelsey McCune. Samantha’s parents noticed she was missing Wednesday morning, when they went to wake her up to go to school. Authorities consider Samantha an endangered runaway. Two two might be camping. Because what else would a transient be doing who has no known address? McCune has no known address, but he is known to make money doing freelance computer work and he also may be carrying large duffel bags and backpacks with camping gear.

Police called the teen an “endangered runaway” and said she may be in the company of Kelsey McCune, 40, a family friend who authorities said has no permanent address.
It was unclear if the teen left home willingly; however police said she does not have a history of running away.
Dodson, who recently dyed her hair red, was described by police as 5-foot-4 and 125 pounds with brown eyes and a slim build.
Police said McCune is 6 feet tall and 170 pounds with a glass eye and salt-and-pepper hair.
According to FOX 12-OR, 40 year old Kelsey McCune is a long time friend of the family … of course he is. Because there is nothing more special than parents not realizing that a 40 year old, so-called friend of the family, is taking just a little too much interest in your 13 year old daughter!
The Dodson family says McCune is a family friend.
“Kelsey is a family friend of my parents. I met him a couple times in passing, but they’ve known him for years, and I know he was recently down on his luck,” said Sarah Dodson.
Samantha’s family now believes the teen and McCune had been communicating without anyone knowing. When they tried to confront McCune about it Wednesday, they say he wouldn’t return their calls, and won’t answer his messages.
“It’s my understanding that Kelsey doesn’t have a permanent residence, and we think they could be looking for a place to camp because there’s not a place to take her,” said Sarah Dodson.
The search for Samantha stretched to the Newell Creek area of Oregon City on Thursday, where a SWAT team scoured the terrain in the area.
Clackamas County deputies say they consider Samantha an endangered runaway mainly because of the age difference between her and McCune. They are also concerned about Samantha’s welfare because of the record-cold temperatures expected this week.

UPDATE I: Missing 13-year-old Ore. City girl found safe after 5 days.
Samantha Dodson, a missing 13-year-old Oregon City girl, was found in good condition in a wooded area north of an Oregon mobile home park Saturday evening, deputies said.
Deputies and the SWAT team resumed the search for Dodson around 4:30 p.m. after getting what they called a “credible” tip from a witness Saturday who saw her and 40-year-old Kelsey McCune near South Maple Lane Road and South Country Village Drive, said Sgt. Nate Thompson with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
UPDATE II: Suspect Kelsey McCune Arrested, Charged with Kidnapping, Sexual abuse, and Rape.
McCune was also found in good condition Saturday, Thompson said. He was arrested and charged with kidnapping, sexual abuse, and rape. He was booked overnight in the Clackamas County Jail.

A vile one-eyed drifter busted by Oregon police for allegedly kidnapping and raping a teenage girl that went missing last week appeared in court Monday.

Amber Alert Issued for 14 Year Old Elizabeth Romero Missing Since 12/4/13 in Kennewick, WA … Arrest Warrent Issued for 19 Year Old Edwardo Fabien Flores Rosalas (Update: Amber Alert Canceled, Elizabeth Romero Found in Mexico)
An AMBER ALERT has been issued for 14 year old Elizabeth Romero, who has been missing since Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Kennewick, Washington. She is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-3 and weighs 130 pounds. Elizabeth Romero was last seen getting into her 19 year old boyfriend’s green Ford Escape around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday at Phoenix High School in Kennewick. Edwardo Fabien Flores Rosales is wanted for kidnapping and a warrant is expected to be issued for his arrest. Authorities believe that Edwardo Fabien Flores Rosales might be trying to take Elizabeth Romero to Mexico.
Elizabeth was reported missing by her mother around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Lattin said. A nationwide alert was issued around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
A video released Thursday night shows Elizabeth walking across a parking lot at the high school and getting into a green sports utility vehicle. She is wearing a white top and dark pants, and is carrying a backpack and pink purse. She is 5-foot-3 and weighs 130 pounds.
Edwardo Fabien Flores Rosalas is 5-foot-9 and weighs about 200 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a green Ford Escape with no license plates.

UPDATE I: Information and text messages police received lead them to believe Elizabeth possibly didn’t run away with her boyfriend willingly.
Elizabeth’s mother got text messages Thursday from an unknown phone number that claimed to be Elizabeth. The messages said the couple were headed for Mexico. When the mother asked for a photo of Elizabeth, the conversation ended.
“When she asked to send a current photo and that request was refused, that’s the biggest red flag that tells us she might be in danger,” Lattin said.
Investigators have received other information that points to Elizabeth being in danger, Lattin said. He declined to say what that information is.
Local police have notified the U.S. Border Patrol in case the couple tries to leave the country, Lattin said.

A 19-year-old man accused of abducting a Kennewick girl moved into a house on the same block as the teen just days before she left town with him, police said Friday.
Edwardo Fabien Flores Rosales started an online relationship with Elizabeth Romero while he was living in Hood River, Ore., said Kennewick police Sgt. Ken Lattin. After talking with the 14-year-old through Facebook, Rosales told his family he got a job and moved to Kennewick on Thanksgiving Day.
Rosales paid a full month’s rent for a room in a house on the same block as the girl, Lattin said.
Just days later, he had packed up his stuff, left his house key behind and took off with Elizabeth.

UPDATE IV: The AMBER ALERT has been canceled for missing 14 year old Elizabeth Romero has been found in Mexico. Her boyfriend, 19 year old Edwardo Fabien Flores Rosalas is still on the loose.
The California Highway Patrol says a missing teenager from Washington has been safely located in Mexico.
The CHP did not give details on how they located 14-year-old Elizabeth Romero, but canceled a statewide Amber Alert that had been active since last Thursday.
Washington police said the teen was abducted in the town of Kennewick, Washington a day earlier.
The CHP issued the alert because they thought she and her abductor may be headed to Mexico.
Her boyfriend, Edwardo Fabian Flores Rosales, is still on the loose, according to police.
UPDATE V: Girl has been found in Mexico, but out of their jurisdiction, now up to Elizabeth Romero’s family to get her back from Mexico.

Missing Wisconsin woman Cassandra Lafave could be in the St. Louis area.
The 25-year-old Wisconsin woman was reported missing by family members on November 20th. Since then, we`ve gotten information that she may have been taken as part of a sex trafficking ring, and she could be on the streets in the St. Louis or Kansas City area.
At this point police from multiple law enforcement agencies are working on the case, and we`ve also contacted family members in Wisconsin and are waiting to hear back from them.

There have been no details as to where, how or what condition she was found in other than safe. There seems to be all-too many rumors with this case. Court records show that a bench warrant was issued for LaFave Sept. 11 on charges of retail theft and resisting or obstructing an officer in Washington County, and that the warrant was still open Wednesday.

16 year old Elaina Dorsey of Saco, Maine has been missing since October 9, 2013 when she left her home and has not been seen or heard from since. Elaina is described as being 5’5″ tall, about 185 pounds, brown eyes and black hair. Elaine is believed to be traveling with 35 year old Michael Bowman. The two are possibly in the North Deering area of Portland, Maine. Hmm, looks like the age of consent in Maine is 16.
