62 year old Thomas Baker has been missing since Thursday, June 11, 2015 in Milton, Massachusetts. Baker of Boston’s Hyde Park neighborhood was last seen Thursday near 1,200 Brush Hill Road. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating the missing 62 year old man. To date, Boston Police, Milton Police, Massachusetts state police, Quincy Police, environmental police and other authorities have taken part in the search. According to reports, Thomas Baker was in the area of the Milton Health Care facility; however, other evidence indicated he walked into the Hemingway Estates off Brush Hill Road.

Baker is 5’9 and 195 pounds. According to family, he was wearing a grey sweatshirt and khakis when he went missing.

Police searched for Baker Thursday and Friday. Police cite clues that he was near the Milton Health Care facility or had walked into Milton’s Hemingway Estates.

UPDATE I: Authorities search sprawling Blue Hills Reservation in Milton for missing Boston man.

Law enforcement officials believe 62-year-old Thomas Baker, a resident of the Readville section of Hyde Park, may have been in the area of Milton Health Care, 1200 Brush Hill Road.

The health facility is roughly located between the lower Neponset River Reservation and the sprawling Blue Hills Reservation, a series of hills and woodlands spanning 7,000 acres in several Boston-area communities.

Despite a “massive coordinated search” effort involving multiple law enforcement agencies, the search was called off before nightfall Friday, according to Milton police.

UPDATE II: Missing Milton Man Found Deceased.

A Hyde Park man whose disappearance launched a massive manhunt along the Milton-Boston line has been found dead, our news partners at the Patriot Ledger reported.

Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said in a statement Tuesday that Thomas Baker, 62, had been found by a State Police trooper working with a search dog. He said Baker’s death remains under investigation but officials have no evidence of foul play.

32 year old  Kathleen “Katie” Barham has been missing since Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in  Portsmouth, Virginia. However, Portsmouth Police did not assign a detective to the case until June 8, eleven days after Katie was reported missing. Barham has hazel eyes and long brown hair. She’s about 5’2″ tall and weighs 135-140 pounds.

A Portsmouth mother has been missing for nearly two weeks.

Police are trying to find 32-year-old Kathleen “Katie” Barham. She was last seen Wednesday, May 27, around 10:30 p.m. when she went to wash a load of clothes in her apartment building on Bickford Lane in Churchland, said Det. Misty Holley.

Katie’s boyfriend and father of her two children, Rich Fegan says he was falling asleep on the couch that night, when Katie went missing.

“She started washing the clothes in the laundry facility in the building. A little while later I woke up with her complaining saying the dryer’s not working, and she had to go to the building right here (points to next apartment building) to dry the clothes,” he said.

He says he woke up around 1:30 a.m. and Katie was gone.

UPDATE I: Body found Wednesday confirmed to be missing Portsmouth woman.

The body found Wednesday at Tejo Lane and Silver Maple Drive in Portsmouth has been identified as 32-year-old Kathleen “Katie” Barham.

Barham had been missing since May 27th around 10:30 p.m. when she went to wash a load of clothing in her apartment building in the 6500 block of Bickford Lane.

Her body was found early Wednesday morning in a wooded area just a street away from where she was last seen.

6 year old Jadianna Larson has been missing since Thursday, May 28, 2015 in Sacramento County, California.  Jadianna Larson was last seen at 11 AM on Thursday at her apartment where she lived with her mother in the 3900 block of 47th Avenue, near Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard.  She is being considered an at risk missing person.  The missing 6 year old was being taken care of by her mother’s boyfriend at the apartment. However, when the girl’s mother returned home at 8:30 PM, she discovered her boyfriend passed out from a seizure and her daughter was gone. Jadianna Larson is described as a light skinned  African-American girl, 3 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 60 pounds. She has brown ear-length curly hair, brown eyes and a birthmark on the center of her forehead and was last seen wearing light blue Disney pajamas.

At this point there has been no AMBER ALERT issued.

UPDATE II: Missing Sacramento girl absent from school all week, says deputies.

An endangered missing advisory has been issued for a 6-year-old girl in South Sacramento who has not been seen since Thursday morning. Investigators with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department said Jadianna Larson has not been in school this week.

Detectives are calling Jadianna missing and at risk. At 10 a.m. Friday, they issued an endangered missing advisory for the girl, which means CHP then broadcasts Jadianna’s information to a larger audience in the hopes of locating the girl.

UPDATE III: Body of young girl found in Glenn County.

A county sheriff west of Chico said his office is investigating the death of a young girl whose badly burned body was found Thursday.

The girl’s body was found at about 10:22 a.m. Thursday by volunteer firefighters extinguishing a grass fire near County Road D south of County Road 33 in Glenn County, the county sheriff’s office said. The sheriff’s office said Friday that the victim was between 5 and 10 years old.

“The early indications are that this is a homicide,” the sheriff’s office said in a press release Friday. The body was sent to a forensic laboratory at California State University, Chico for identification.

UPDATE IV: Juan Rivera, Jadianna’s mother’s boyfriend and Jadianna’s caretaker Arrested.

The sheriff’s department said detectives have evidence to support the charge of murder against Juan Rivera, Jadianna’s mother’s boyfriend and Jadianna’s caretaker. Rivera, 25, of Sacramento, was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail late Friday night. He is currently being held without the possibility of bail. Rivera is scheduled to be in court on June 2.

Sheriff department Sgt. Lisa Bowman said, “This mother is not being looked at as a suspect in this case.”

Laura McComb and her two children, 6 year old Andrew McComb and 4 year old Leighton McComb are still missing following the massive floods that hit Texas over the Memorial Day weekend. They were among 12 people who went missing as the vacation home in Wimberly, Texas, was ripped from its foundation in the rapid flood waters of the Blanco River (VIDEO). Jonathan McComb, was pulled from the floodwaters and taken to a San Antonio hospital for treatment. The McCombs were with Ralph and Sue Carey along with their daughter, Michelle Charba, her husband Randy and their 4-year-old son, Will. All are still missing. Say a prayer for the missing and their family.

UPDATE I: Laura McComb Salled Her Sister and said,  ‘I Love You, and Pray’ While Inside the House Floating Down the Blanco River Called Her Sister Before It Hit Bridge.

Missing mom’s sister Julie Shields says, “I think recognizing with what’s happening with the weather, we all know and we have accepted that they’re gone.”

Julie Shields said she was on the phone with her sister, Laura, when their cabin was swept away.

“We are floating in a house that is now floating down the river,” Laura told Shields on the phone. “Call mom and dad. I love you, and pray.”

Those were the last words Shields had with her sister.

“My sister will always be my sister,” Shields added.

The conversation ended when Laura thought she saw a light from a helicopter that was there to rescue them.

“And I just expected to go to Wimberley High School the next day and find her,” said Shields. “When she wasn’t there, I knew something was very, very wrong.”

UPDATE II: Body of 6-year-old Andrew McComb Recovered.

The body of Andrew McComb, 6, whose family was in a house washed away by floodwaters in Wimberley, Texas, has been found, a Hays County, Texas, official said Friday.

The body was found Thursday evening near the border of Hays and Blanco counties, according to Trey Hatt, spokesman for the Hays County Emergency Operations Center, The Associated Press reported.

Authorities earlier this week reported recovering the body of a child from the Blanco River in Hays County, but did not identify the child.

Andrew McComb’s identity was confirmed using dental records, an official said today.

A body was identified Wednesday as one of the eight people swept away when their vacation home in Central Texas was lost amid raging floodwaters over the Memorial Day weekend.

The discovery of 43-year-old Michelle Carey-Charba came as her family told NBC News that they were still holding out hope for the safe recovery of all of the missing who had been inside the home.
A ninth person — family friend Jonathan McComb — was found alive Sunday after being carried several miles away from where the house once stood in the small tourist town of Wimberley. He was being treated in the hospital for a collapsed lung, a broken sternum and broken ribs, his family said.

McComb’s wife, Laura, and their two children, Andrew, 6, and Leighton, 4, were also in the home and are still missing, along with Carey-Charba’s husband, Randy Charba, their 4-year-old son, Will, and her parents, Ralph and Sue Carey.

Searchers made a grim discovery in the Blanco River Wednesday when thebody of a boy was found in the river in Hays County, the city of San Marcos said in a statement Wednesday evening.

The child’s age and identity have not been determined, and it is unknown whether he is on a list of those known missing, or another victim not previously reported missing, the city said.

Carey-Charba’s brother-in-law, Alan Daniel, said Wednesday that the search isn’t over: “We’re not going to stop looking until we’ve found them.”

Authorities said at least 23 people were killed and another 11 were missing after a series of storms pummeled Texas and Oklahoma,causing historic flooding in a region that had been crippled by severe drought.

The Careys own the home in Wimberley, where the Blanco River swelled 28 feet in an hour and a half. The McCombs are family friends, and they were all spending the Memorial Day weekend together.
